What an experience!!! Watching and listening to Mr. Summers work those mules took me back to watching my uncle in the gardens with the mules. I had forgotten the “language” people use with them when they’re working. Thanks!

Thanks so very much for sharing the video Zach. Mr. Summers is a wealth of knowledge and yes he is a blessing in your life. Those mules keep him going. I only hope I can get around like him at almost 85 years old. Beautiful young mules and they will make good ones. Hope you have a great weekend at the plow day. Be safe driving.

Very interesting, have you ever ever thought of sitting down with Mr.Summers and writing a book with him on mules and mules in general, stop and think of the wealth of knowledge this man has, maybe a book would inspire young people to start something, we know the teenage generation in general is not like us old folks, if it could inspire one or more wo you never know. Thanks for sharing and as always it was very educational.

    • @zachodom7486

Maybe one day I will. Although this newer generation is not into books like we used to be. Videos is more their thing. Monkey see monkey do type stuff. So I hope to do more videos with Mr Summers and also a few more that have inspired me over the years. Thanks brother for the kind words and also for watching as always! Take care and come back when ya can! Thx

That is some nice gentle handling of his mules. I am wondering if these exercises are mentally tiring on the mules. Thus these exercises strengthen them mentally. These sessions are more mentally challenging than physically. Thanks for sharing. From New Brunswick Canada.
