Trixie isn't the only one with a ruined character, the last episode tootie was in she try'd to knock timmy unconscious repeatedly to have a excuse to give mouth to mouth and chloe came out pretty selfish and iradeamable in girly squirrely

Trixie was such a wasted opportunity, they could've had a lot of interesting episodes where it delved deeper into how she is as a person and why she is the way she is.

In that episode they showed you that she was popular and had all the boys always telling her she was pretty. That consistency of attention would drive a person insane if that attention just vanished. A lone boy saying she is pretty would be tough especially how Timmy never gets her attention anyways. This just shows you to be single and never date unless you want to sound like a broken record.
Trixie was the biggest missed opportunity this series ever had. She started out a fairly strong character with lots of growth potential, but as the show's writing became more silly and geared towards a mostly prepubescent-male audience, her character took a sharp left turn and devolved into being just a stereotype. Like a lot of Nick shows, the early episodes had the strongest character writing (and in my personal opinion, were just overall the best in the series), but that went downhill with each season. It's unfortunate, because Trixie could have been a far more interesting, relatable, and lovable addition to the cast had she been allowed to actually develop. Look at Valerie from Danny Phantom - sure, the show was geared towards a slightly older audience, but she started out as essentially the same "popular girl" trope and grew well beyond that. Granted, the difference is DP was a bit more story-driven and the characters were allowed to have arcs, whereas in FOP, the characters remain pretty much the same all the way through. It was more comedy-focused and episodic, so it makes sense, but it's unfortunate that we got a taste of what the character could have been only to have it retconned in later episodes for the lols. And then...for some reason, the show really started pushing Timmy and Tootie, which was...a weird choice, in my opinion. But that's beside the point.
