Worst offender for me are their rubberhose limbs, especially the arms. When they perform any kind of pose or attacks you can see them bending in ugly shapes. No muscle deformation at all. Everything moves so fluidly, yet feels and looks so stiff and weightless.
It's because in Budokai tenkaichi 3 attacks were generic orange light beams most of the time. So they looked like fire or electricity, the modern ones are too cartoonish. But I'm still happy this thing exists.
Because half the animations are cut in the trailer... Use Ur eyes man. They don't show the full animations. Even in Beerus' Sphere of destruction there's tons of frames missing. That's the point of a trailer. Showing quick glimpses
I think I figured it out. They don’t let the attacks linger and shake the screen like finish buster and other ones used to do. Or when ssj4 goku would use kamehameha x10 for example. It shakes the screen and the impact was shown in larger circles to smaller ones aswell
Interesting comparison, so glad to see sparking zero play more similarly to tenkaichi 2/3 instead of raging blast 1/2. The attacks in sparking zero looks dynamic and destructive just like the anime.
Surprise surprise, Tenkaichi 3 is still the best looking DBZ game, plus it didn't have horrifically cringy dialogue and tryhard voice acting like all the current shit.
