Can you pleasee make a vid about the Dutch interviews and how to do well in them? I want to apply so bad but I’m nervous about the group interviews & the 3 rounds (I think I heard there’s 3 rounds but idk haha)!
The interviewing process is different depending on where you live, franchise, stand etc. It’s not going to be the same across the board. But treat it like any other interview you would go to. Personally, I like to research the company I’m applying for and see what their culture is like. READ THE DUTCH BROS CREED. Second, be your best you. CONFIDENCE IS EVERYTHING. And lastly, give it your all - and then let go. I like to go in with the goal of my employers knowing my heart and intentions. They either like me for who I am or don’t.
- I applied 3 times over the span of two years. Each interview, I thought I did great. And though not getting a call back was disheartening, it made me want the job even more. That was me. But we’re all different. Either way, interviews in general help you grow. I’ve learned to love them even if I don’t get the job. Hope this helps XOXO

when i was in highschool me and my mom used to do coffee runs for some of my teacher and when we did that we whould have about 20 drink but to make up to the poppel in the car behind us we would give the barista a full stamp card and pay for there drinks that way and i would love to work for the dutch bros where i live but im scard to only because i have asmtha and i dont think i could be a runner
Elizabeth Colburn - you’re not constantly running on the runner position. You’re just outside. And more than likely - you rotate. You’re not out there the whole shift. If you want it - get it bbygirl. Good luck!

I’ve wanted to work at Dutch Bros for the longest time and I’ve applied multiple times and just keep getting rejected. Do you have any tips on how to get hired?
Maripaz Claramunt - So I actually didn’t get hired till the third time I applied / interviewed. It can get discouraging, but if you really want it, don’t stop! I suggest reading the Dutch creed if you haven’t already. Super enlightening and uplifting + will help you learn more about the DB culture. And just be yourself really. Keep trying girl!! Apply over and over at multiple locations to get your name out there. Its RARE that people get hired the first time they apply because each stand gets dozens of apps a DAY!! I applied 5 times and interviewed at two separate stands before I got hired. Don't give up yet if you really want the job. DB loves when people go for what they want so show them that that's you! Leah Harvey - Great question. I asked the same thing before working there. I’m super chill and wasn’t as loud or perky as what DB apparently is mistakenly known for. If you’re kind and can make good conversation, then you’re pretty much set in my opinion. You’ll overcome that shyness for sure after working for DB. Good luck to you! 💕

Shaya Brezee - That’s a great question. I never had a group interview when I applied at DB. But when I did for other companies, I strive to be the most approachable and friendliest looking. Let that joy inside you radiate from within. I have a strong personality so essentially I don’t have to try.. and honestly you don’t have to have a stand-out-from-the-crowd type of personality to get hired. Cos being you, authentic TRUE you is what people want to see. So yeah long story short lol just be YOU. Best wishes to ya! XOXO

In Chandler Arizona there is a Dutch in Chandler they have really bad personality’s everytime I go they give me and my friends the wrong drinks and they yell and say speak louder, and they roll their eyes at us all the time

I really really want to work at a dutch bros near me because i love their coffee and i love their environment but i applied once and never ever heard back but have really changed my energy in a positive way but it makes me super nervous to apply because they never got back to me the first but its literally a dream to work there as well as love going to work. Whats your advice?
Jordan lynn - If you want it, don’t stop till you get it (to an extent). I applied / interviewed three times before I finally got hired. Turning in an application to just anyone in the stand doesn’t count. You want to make sure you ask for a the store manager / hiring manager when you turn anything in. If you don’t, you’ll just be a couple pages in a pile of paper. And once you do that, follow up. Anyone that’s looking to hire always wants to put a face to applications. Good luck!

You quit college for Dutch bros but you aren’t there anymore, was it just time to move on? I see a lot of people who work there in AZ and they don’t stay a super long time
Travis F - I didn’t drop out for Dutch Bros. I dropped out because of what God showed me from working there. Generally speaking, we all know college isn’t for everyone. For me, it was really seeing how the majority of the world’s population doesn’t know their true purpose. And even after knowing, not pursuing it. Being the kind of person I am, that’s everything to me. I want to amount to my fullest potential - if not more. Moreover, that didn’t and still doesn’t involve getting my degree. Who knows, maybe in the future! But so when I knew it was time to move on, I did just that.
As for your observation on the high turn over rate in AZ, personally I believe that’s a good thing. DB isn’t for everyone. And even if it is, it may just be for 6 months or 7 yrs. Either way, in any place in life, I would want people who want to be there to actually be there. And for those who are called else where to be where they should be. Anyway, interesting question. Thanks for asking.

I have applied to dutch bros at multiple locations in my area 12 times, and have been to 6 hiring parties. I sent in an application to attend a private hiring party this Tuesday and I got accepted! I applied to it online once a day for 2 weeks straight hoping they’d see my name multiple times and see my dedication 😂💓 I really hope I do well! I’ve been to enough parties at this point that It has boosted my confidence tremendously, I know the drill, and even make my own drinks now when I show up!! I’ll post an update later afterwards!! First off, I am proud of you and am glad you are still seeking knowledge. You’re seventeen. That’s still so young! I didn’t start till I was twenty-one. But MY personal advice for you is to just not give up but in the waiting, take the time to grow as a person. AND learn to love interviews. Interviews are essentially just you talking about yourself. That can be uncomfortable for a lot of ppl. That’s a confidence issue. Learn to love yourself in that way. To talk about yourself. And if you’re not there, get there. Hope this helps!

one of the dutch bros near me is hiring. i want to apply but im genuinely scared because its a super fast pace environment and it takes me awhile to get a hang of things. im a slow learner and i worked at jamba juice before and i quit too soon because my co workers were impatient with me (and they were mean) so i was just super embarrassed

Hey there. I am shift lead at Dutch Bros in Washington and I have to say Dutch is great if you have a great management team. Unfortunately for me, our management team and franchise owner are manipulative, narcissistic, condescending and downright abusive to their employees. They force us to talk to customers even if the customers don’t want conversation, cut our hours based off of favoritism, and they care more about getting the drinks out fast disregarding our other 2 core values. I’ve been living in a constant fear of being fired for months. I’ve worked here for over a year now and I can safely say. DO NOT WORK FOR DUTCH BROS IN WASHINGTON. It is a living hell.

Throughout my DB history, I was working 4-5 days a week / 30+ hours every two weeks. It just varies within the stand and the person.

Oh Denise Good question! I went with casual and cute - as if I was going to hang out with my girls for lunch in downtown. I would wear something that isn’t trying too hard, shows your style but is still Instagram worthy. That’s my personal opinion. Good luck!
