      Propably locking the rear wheel will result in lowside ( it works for bycicles, that is why i say propably, because they arent that different, but still)

    Jus don’t lean too much on an un-prepped road & be careful when it’s rained(wet)! Drive smarter quit tailgating & lane splitting!
    Remember pros have wrecks leaning on prepped (lower trace of debris) race tracks!

  • @mamapapa5860

    to avoid high side, dont counter steer to lean. counter steering cause rear to drift out till it regains traction and yeets you over.
    to avoid low side, dont lean the bike too low. lean your body out more than the bike.

    So it's called a high-side, cool. I had just gotten my first 125 and was driving a loop around where I live, took a bend that goes into a slight incline and with me being inexperienced the back end slipped a little bit but I recovered it after a second and didn't think much of it. Thanks! This was nicely informative

    Was on track yesterday, it rained quite a bit so the track was wet. About three guys in front of me were in a turn but we're driving relatively slow, so I thought I could overtake them mid corner as I was leaning a lot more than them. I had good grip but I also got a 1000cc bike so on the corner exit I opened the throttle a little bit too much and I felt the rear slide out, I didn't close the throttle straight away but rolled off ever so slightly, felt the rear regain traction, the whip of the rear got my ass off the seat, I did a half assed attempt at a handstand and landed back in the seat and managed to go on. Looked back and saw two of the three guys getting their thumbs up. Maybe it was because of how I was leaning off the bike that prevented me from being flicked over the bike? I really don't know. Managed to shake it off and kept riding like nothing happened but it could have ended with a lot more than it did. Maybe I should invest in a newer track bike that has traction control 😂 I live to see another day and will take it easier next time when the track is still a bit wet

    New subscriber, love the channel. I low sided my Bandit 1200 above the Hollywood Bowl on Mulholland. There was some loose dirt/ silt that had collected nearest the shoulder. Had I not cut my line so close to the inside, I could have avoided it. Now when I'm bombing canyon runs I'm hyper aware of it, so the moral of my story is stick to the part of the road most traveled.

    Maybe switch weight to back, scoot back on the seat to keep traction on the rear tire? Honestly I’m not sure. I’d imagine throttle control through the apex would have a little bit to do with it all as well. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    To answer your question, always be aware of your lean angle to throttle input exiting the corners. Maybe take some superbike classes to experience breaking traction on the school's specialty bikes. way cheaper then a high side or even lowsiding your own bike. Ive never heard one person not recommend school being the best money they invested in themselves.

  • @chadkline4268
    @chadkline4268 Год назад

    If high siding over to the right, turn the front wheel to the right, and stomp on the rear brake.
    If low siding to the left, turn the front wheel to the left so you can pick up more traction with the front wheel, and grab the front brake.
    But there's probably no time or space for a maneuver. Tires and lower speeds are probably best.
    The subliminals were great 😎👍

    I've felt my back tire slip a couple times but it's usually more towards the beginning of a corner. I see a lot of racing videos where they crash high side coming out of corners. I'm wondering if maybe they're pulling themselves up with the handlebars using their arms instead of their legs type of thing.
