Last week the stylist cancelled the day before my 7 year old’s dance recital and I was livid!!! Luckily I was able to find someone else who could do it the morning of the recital 🙌🏾😩
Shoutout to the person you found on such short notice! Omg!!
Has this happened to anyone else? And why is it always before a special event or trip?!
Immediate DISPUTE cuz run my coins back! Not everyone needs to run a business, some folks need to practice as an employee first! 😂

Miss Ma’am, you have all these fees, but when it comes to you being late, yappin on speakerphone, and eating, being unprofessional, and don’t give a discount, off to the next until we find one that’s not a messy unprofessional! And your house smells like last months old grease!

I mean, sometimes really good stylists get the shaft because people have no concern for their work or time.. especially when people that are always late are assholes. And then there are times when good stylists have extenuating circumstances like where they get cancer and might have some issues with scheduling.
I hear you but we rarely get the “hey love” text from nail techs. And most of us see our nail techs more than we see our stylists. This indicates a much deeper professionalism issue that has been allowed to grow and fester in the black stylist community
Stfu with your cancer, and no salon to my knowledge is opening at like 6am. This is a 9am appointment, she’s the first customer of the day. Get real. 😂
This is why they leave as soon as they can. They’re making a point. Stop showing up late. Respect their time. Even if you’re five minutes late that pushes back every client they have for the rest of the day. Do your part and be there on time.🤷🏾♀️
I think the person in the video was making the point that their stylist was late and canceled after the time of their appointment instead of letting them know ahead of time.
The thing is u could be on time and then they still doing someone else’s hair and they don’t be almost done and now u waiting 40 mins because they not done
