Ah, the age old Rain World experience. Exploring every inch of a new area only to find out that either progress was the one room you skipped near the start, or it's something far out of the way that you can only do later. My heart especially goes out to anyone who went to the depths before five pebbles as survivor or monk.
I kept yelling at my screen when I couldn’t find the entrance to chimney canopy from the wall. Turns out I’d just been walking past the entrance tunnel in my efforts to descend as fast as possible
I almost went to Subterranean/Filtration System too early on my first playthrough. Good thing that my lack of deer's mechanics knowledge and swimming skill saved me lol. But on the other hand, I missed out on the agressive Guardians, that must be a fun terrifying experience!
the funniest thing is that i found submerged superstructure as Monk in my very very first ever playthrough and was incredibly confused and lost lol. i explored a shockingly large amount of it with jetfish and bubbleweeds lol

I adored this story, it felt so wholesome to see the two of them finally forgive each other and move on, and the fact that Moon gave Ruffles an actual name is absolutely precious.
@@uphi-downlow5792 tbh would have been nice if the cycles stayed short to need to get some use from rivulets speed, i think it's one of the more boring slugcats gameplay wise without the harsher timer. Like gourmand is probably the most fun gameplay wise because it's got a bunch of funky stuff it can do movement wise, like the slide boosting is pretty nuts, and the heavy hitting spears at the cost of getting exhausted is pretty cool as well.

Skurry should totally do a rain world bingo. I understand some aversion to doing entertaining challenge runs in this difficult of a game, but the accessibility remix can provide might help a lot! I just love seeing more fun rain world content on the platform lol

47:15 I might as well be that guy to help, Centipede's in Rainworld have "Movmement Based Sight" so I assume it didn't see you because you stayed still enough to avoid it's grab hitbox and ran out in between it's mouth (I'm not too sure since that's the water varient so idk if it has any differences) Centipede's also can't hear when moving since they have hundreds of legs moving at the same time, and both ends are heads so it's hard to run "behind" it without it noticing you
Nah rain world is a land of suffering, pain, depression, and pretty much any other mental ilness if you try hard enough. Epilepsy? Just play Hunter? Schizofrenia? The echos are a thing!
Theory about Garbage Wastes: it's rained so much and so frequently that all the filth washed out of that area and into shoreline. That why it's suspiciously cleaner.

rivulet is genuinely the best slugcat. their campaign is so sweet and their abilities are so much fun (their backflip is insane oh my god). i had such a great time with them and im so happy to see skurry enjoy them too, considering they’re the one who got me to play rain world in the first place :]
(fwiw, rivulet is a good bit easier with the visible breath meter setting; they have a LOT of time but it’s still a good thing to have in moon’s superstructure especially)

I love how everyone always says "turn on the gravity" when they actually mean turn off the gravity to go weightless. Like, every player does that lol. Or how we stole Pebbles gravity. We technically gave him gravity by force.
also, im still surprised he hasn't seen the green zappies in the base game (he seemed caught off-guard when he got to the green zappies zone as the artificer) by the way, the very evil zone where there's a shit ton of blue is the route i chose to get to five pebbles in the base game on my first playthrough (because i didn't know there was another way), and then when i accidentally went past five pebbles i took the easier route but backwards, realizing that i could've saved myself like 3 hours

i waited until after i beat rivulet's campaign to watch this and i am so, SO mad that i just never thought to try switching the rarefaction cell on outside of the rot. for some reason my brain just didn't consider it? and i left that region without any swimming so i didn't know it made you zoom through water so fast... so yeah i only found out that it still worked when i was about to drown near the end of my seventeenth painful swim attempt through the heart to moon's core... kill me ._.

Since they start in drainage getting to Moon is easy. Moon seems to be excited when first meeting the rivulet seeing as they can hold their breath longer than the others and are faster, Moon then says your journey there was in vain (when has she not) due to the constant rain. When getting to 5p from the wall you will notice there's no more gravity going into his chamber you will see him on the floor with a pearl that plays 'Halcon Memories' he hates when you first enter but gives you a mission and asks you to take out his refraction cell meaning he will begin shutting down, and start decaying, when grabbing it and returning he will thank you now seeing what the other iterators meant he didn't have to go through this alone. When you take it to moon she will ask you if you noticed the fact the cycles went back to normal wondering if Pebbles finally succumbed to the rot, after putting the cell in her structure you will have to find your way back to her from the cold 'Bitter Aerie' once back she's amazed by how you, a slugcat managed to get her working, giving a forced broadcast to Pebbles when the screen fades to black we can see he gets the message, and is surprised by it. Going back into the game you will see how Moon now calls you 'Ruffles' as before she called you 'Little friend' and 'Water Dancer' when giving her the pearl in your stomach.

i think disconnecting Pebbles from his umbilical and trying to bring him to moon would kill him (because the puppet is just a part of the superstructure, the entire building IS the iterator)
I like when they were at the scav toll they keep stealing the scavengers' stuff. When they put the spears and such back down, the scavs aren't mad anymore. I like to imagine they just think Rivulet is rude now instead of an actual threat.
I literally saw this a while ago, and didn't view because I'd never played Rivulet at all. Now that I've finished it, I can watch this and even skip to the end :-)
If that orb is crushed by a leviathan, it makes an extremely powerful explosion. It's a more powerful version of a thing called a "singularity bomb" or "gravity bomb" (i like to call em black hole bombs). They pull in anything close enough, and when it explodes, it kills EVERYTHING in the blast zone. It can be escaped from, by a pipe before it starts pulling, or by getting a surface between you and the device (as long as you are outside the blast zone). A gravity bomb can be crafted by gourmand with a fire egg and a grenade. The fire egg can be made with i think a rock and a yellow flower, known as a karma flower, a grenade can be made with a firecracker and a rock. Firecrackers can be made with "batnip" (useless looking plant, batflies are attracted to it) and a rock. It's a powerful weapon. The wiki says it can do 10 million damage.

After dying to the exact same 4 rooms in 5P for about an hour I ended up looking at a map on the wiki. Best decision I've made in a long time, because it turns out I went every possible way except the way to the energy pokéball. The only time I will ever enjoy 5P is playing Artificer, and I'll probably never do another Artificer run :)

I like when they were at the scav toll they keep stealing the scavengers' stuff. When they put the spears and such back down, the scavs aren't mad anymore. I like to imagine they just think Rivulet is rude now instead of an actual threat.

Good good, just gonna say: the game is hard, but exteremly enjoyable
If that orb is crushed by a leviathan, it makes an extremely powerful explosion. It's a more powerful version of a thing called a "singularity bomb" or "gravity bomb" (i like to call em black hole bombs). They pull in anything close enough, and when it explodes, it kills EVERYTHING in the blast zone. It can be escaped from, by a pipe before it starts pulling, or by getting a surface between you and the device (as long as you are outside the blast zone). A gravity bomb can be crafted by gourmand with a fire egg and a grenade. The fire egg can be made with i think a rock and a yellow flower, known as a karma flower, a grenade can be made with a firecracker and a rock. Firecrackers can be made with "batnip" (useless looking plant, batflies are attracted to it) and a rock. It's a powerful weapon. The wiki says it can do 10 million damage.

After dying to the exact same 4 rooms in 5P for about an hour I ended up looking at a map on the wiki. Best decision I've made in a long time, because it turns out I went every possible way except the way to the energy pokéball. The only time I will ever enjoy 5P is playing Artificer, and I'll probably never do another Artificer run :)
