I bought one a week ago. Once I got it, I liked it so much that I ordered two more (one for the car, and one for work). And then, I bought another one for my bearded son-in-law! You are right, this is way too much of a good deal to pass up.
I love my No.8... "Pick on a Stick". It's an absolute game changer. I can see however where this might be more attractive to someone else at a different price point. Great stuff!!
I Love the Chicago comb’s I always used the Kent combs but sometimes they build up static and make my hair look frizzy! They run threw your beard smoother though then the Chicago combs
I get the static too, but my kent combs were nowhere near as smooth through my beard as the carbon fiber though. That is just my beard though, and I know each experience is truly different

@@DanCBearded This actually reminded me that I had it! I stopped using it on the dogs because they have fairly short hair, but started using it on my daughters hair with conditioner in the shower. Obviously it was fully washed first. I realized I need to be combing the conditioner through her hair, because it gets really bad.
I was able to order three, and I couldn't be happier with them. To be honest, they are better than my Kent combs in many ways. Yet again, not only do I thank you, but my beard thanks you!
I just bought a model 8 and I absolutely love it in the shower so I really wanted another to replace my old starter wooden out of the shower comb. I was really torn justifying the price though and about which one to get because, like you, I love the longer teeth but I also wanted a mustache comb. So this literally was the exact thing I needed! Thanks so much for the great video once again!
One of your other videos, sold me on Chicago Combs I use the #8 & #2, and loved them so much, I bought one more of each. I really like the #2 for the mustache and sideburns. They are hands down the best combs I’ve ever used. They untangle with no snags, and distribute oils, balms, etc… with ease. I also have a boar’s hair brush, for last minute styling. Just ordered a # 8 for the bathroom and a pet comb for the car. My current onedor wide tooth wooden comb works well for detangler but u are corrct in the tines are very wide.

#4 bonus for using Chicago combs? No static. I used Kent combs when I started my beard journey and they were sufficient but I noticed that I was getting quite a bit of static (especially in the winter). After you introduced us to Chicago combs I bought the #8 and never looked back. I have 2 others in the collection now also and have never ever had any static from any of them (even in the winter). I will buy this one though, cheap price and I will probably put it in my car.

For discussion: There may be no difference in make/quality. It’s like the bottle of water analogy: In a store a bottle of water is pennies on the dollar, but at a concession stand you may pay $4.00 for the same water. It’s about value. The product in the bearded world has a lot of value, thus they charge more compared to the same comb (materials, quality) that is “for pets.” Great content as always Dan!
Dang, I had to stop your video halfway through to click on over to Amazon to order the pet comb. I have a complete set of Chicago Combs and now the Pet Comb. You would have to try to break one of these combs for it to break (unlike ox horn combs that may break if you look at them funny). Best for beard, hands down.

Dan, Yes these are awesome combs two number 8’s and one number 9. They are indispensable,I use them every day. I also like the fact that there are companies that have collaborated with them and put there logo on them. Beard Octane and Chesapeake are the ones I have. I think I might give that other comb a try. This would be perfect, just perfect, if it only had a loop at the end so I can hang it in the shower!!! The Chicago comb I have is, uh, #1 I think. I dunno. Smallish but has a shower loop. I would love something with long teeth like this but also close teeth (That's my problem with their #8, teeth not close enough together for my beard) Great video tho. 😊

You oughta try Neter Golds oil infused wooden combs. They are a little expensive but worth the coins!
