I only learned of this splendid songwriters talent last evening (March 12, 2012) while listening to a Public Radio Station out of Detroit Michigan where he was interviewed and did a few studio songs,sure am glad I was tuned in!
Saw Frank Turner again this year at KK's Wolverhampton. Fine wine comes to mind he just gets better with age but still has all of the aggression in his singing that he had 12 years ago when I first saw him! Absolutely brilliant!!

I was born in the shadow of Ports Down, moved away, moved back, this time to Soberton Heath and my daughter was born in Winchester. One divorce later I'm living on the south coast and thinking I might retire to rural Wales - and then I hear this song for the first time. Perhaps I'm a Wessex Boy after all... 😉

Makes me want to go home every time. Scotland. Irvine. A small and haunted town next to a river. Moved after two weeks after my birth, never got to know what people call "home" and only knew a small town in Cornwall called Helston. I want to know what home is and don't know how to get there great thing to do
