Chapter II" is their ninth original album, released one year after "The Highlight" in June 2022. While retaining the nostalgic yet new atmosphere of the previous album, the sound has been further broadened and matured to create an album filled with the "now" of Sexy Zone's true selves.
The lead track "Purple Rain" is a mixture of two colours: "red" for the image of burning love, and "blue" for the image of calm, watchful love, and "purple" for a mixture of both: The straightforward yet glamorous, masculine lyrics and unique phrases are also catchy.
The animated music video was created by the internationally-renowned creator team NOSTALOOK. This is the second collaboration following the music video for 'THE FINEST' from their previous album 'The Highlight'.
