The house I currently rent out to my tenants would have doubled if I had been greedy. I left the South East in 2013, whilst I miss lots about living in the South of England, with the changes we will all face as things get tougher I’m grateful to be living in a lovely part of North East England.

I caught one of them last night. I'm inspired to go to Hebden Bridge now, everyone keeps recommending it and it was featured on last night's programme. :)

    Spooky tree!
Y’know, the entire world is in housing pain & people are coming together to help each other. My sister has her daughter living with her after a breakup, & now her granddaughter has moved state & will stay for a while, after getting humongous rent rises - a shift working nurse who couldn’t afford to run a car to get to work AND pay rent
Here, we let a family of 5 pitch tent in our paddock & have access to utilities, so that the parents could work & get the kids to school - & at least have a chance of renting a house (eight months, but they did)
Benefits flow both ways, too - sometimes it’s good to loosen your ‘never’ stays!
Have a lovely time - garden looks smashing😊

Could u buy a motor home and rent a parking space near by your parents or even use their drive ?

No. The village where my parents live has a seriously short supply of parking for residents and they have laws to stop that sort of thing because the village is managed by a committee. It also doesn't solve the problem of stuff. I would still have to hire a storage lockup for my business so it wouldn't save me anything. I might as well stay where I am as things stand at the moment.

I'd have to hire a storage unit to keep all my business stock. For now things are at their cheapest but downsizing where I physically live means extra costs unless I decide to scrap my business.
