Well, young man, you are a modern day master painter. What a joy to be able to watch you paint! THANK YOU !! I just found your channel this week and I will be watching everything you put out here. WOW. !!
Thanks for that kyle buckland. Enjoyed the variation of mark making, the suggestion of things, the composition, especially @ 22:42, and the colours to lift a dreary day. No editing, just lovely to watch.
Thanks so much for generously sharing your painting approach. I’ve learned a lot by watching the way you translate the subject into a loose and beautiful scene.
inspiring to watch you work. I've enjoyed the videos I've seen so far..and no music imagine that just the sounds of nature and brushes on canvas..thank you
Love your decisions on shape placements, I.e., the trees. The extraction of certain areas is interesting ....you suggested a little of this and a little of that in area of homes in the back as well as the shoreline areas. I also understand why you dance around on your canvas. You make what seems heavy in nature, light and airy . Putting life back on the trees in Winter)using color and brushwork is brilliant. You made a cold dismal day look beautiful! Very inviting! Thank you for this video.
I love this style of painting as it’s so much more expressive. It’s fascinating the way a few extra lines like the gate posts suddenly gave the painting more perspective leading your eye into the distant field. Couldn’t help but notice how noisy it was at times with the birds squawking, dogs barking and those planes flying over. Certainly haven’t missed those in lockdown! Would just love to know how he takes the painting home when it’s obviously still wet.
Wow! I found your channel just recently and can see some binge watching in my future! I love your paintings. From the beginning to laying down the wash to slowly seeing an amazing painting reveling itself. I just signed up for an oil painting class at a local gallery. My pallet is screaming for paint!!! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.
I enjoy very much watching you painting. You are are very good and the way you are building your subject. Thank you eru much but it would be better if you explain in the meantime your way of thinking and the colors you use. o
He wouldn't be able to paint like that talking. The creative side of the brain is the right side, the language side is the left side. Talking would pull one out of tapping into the creative side of the brain. It's also why an artist loses track of time, as judging the passing of time is a left brain function. Believe me when I say, observing Kyle paint, and watching the decisions he makes is teaching in it's self.
Man that first step of black with umber? really freaked me out. It definitely let the colors get a very nice come together colors later though. Nice work!
Ich habe die Präsentation sehr genossen. Dazu gab es Quiche mit Austernpilzen und Pfifferlingen und ein gekühlter Weisswein. Passend zum Motiv. Merci beaucoup!
What happened to your rag painting starts.....that was your signature man and totally unique and would help people be better painters....hope you make more
@@jimreid9674 I agree. He wouldn't be the creative genius he is, if he talked throughout the video. Creativity is a right brain function, and language is a left brain function. It's a rare person who can do both at the same time, and I wonder how much their creativity suffers as a result.
Four years later, I still go back to watch. Beautiful Plein air painting 🎨🖌️

Thank you so much for not talking through this demo as so many artists do. Much easier to absorb without the constant chatter. Beautiful.
And I LOVE having a painter talk us through his methodology while painting.. much more instructional.!!
@@pleinaire8698 I like some too! And Kyle doesn’t just chatter-he gives good information and explanation. I miss that part😢
Stunning I'm mesmerised watching you paint
I love these vids of you just painting hearing your paint brush hit the canvas and birds chirping , it’s therapeutic to me😎

ShawN shawN , Thanks! Yea the trick is to not leave too much pigment on the canvas..just a light tone:)

on ne voit pas ce que vous peignez donc pas d'intérêt ,dommage!
Este dibujo no me gusto no sé muy se parece el dibujo tiene lo negativo y lo positivo tiene que dibujarse las dos cosas
Mere demonstration without explanation or instruction teaches little.
Nonsense, it teaches heaps.
We don't need self indulgent waffle to understand and observe.

I would like some commentary… helps me understand better😢
