I enjoyed your book so much, Martha Keys!! Well written and well read!! It is so refreshing to find a book with purity, suspense, integrity, and a good storyline!! I look forward to the next!
This book was very well written. It was so clear and to the point with well thought out cliff hangers. Very enjoyable. So enjoyable. I am heading to book two. I am glad Sally brittion put out the link to your work. I am glad I didn't over look this opportunity. Thank you for posting your work. It is a breath of fresh air! Cheers!!🎉
Hmmmm, I found the narration hard to listen to & distracting . Almost AI computerised narration . Everything ran together too, too fast in an up, down, continuous musical style stream like motion . Characters voices not differentiated enough . Constantly had to re-wind to clarify .
Her male voices are better than a lot of female narrators, but she is a tad too fast and monotone during the 3rd person narration. Dialogue portions are better.
Very good drama/romance with well developed characters and a believable storyline. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to reading subsequent books! (I'm glad to have found you through Sally Britton's announcement.)
I can't express how much I enjoyed listening to this wonderful romance. This was a perfect way to spend a day in bed sick. You've made a new fan with this one. I was wondering... I noticed you have sequels to this (I am going to begin Isabel tonight), did you write one for poor Clara, or have any plans to do so? She's ruined by scandal, her family disgraced; what a wonderful set-up for a redemption and romance! If you haven't considered it, please do! 😊
Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed, The dear repose for limbs with travel tired; But then begins a journey in my head, To work my mind, when body’s work’s expired: For then my thoughts, from far where I abide, Intend a zealous pilgrimage to thee, And keep my drooping eyelids open wide, Looking on darkness which the blind do see: Save that my soul’s imaginary sight Presents thy shadow to my sightless view, Which, like a jewel hung in ghastly night, Makes black night beauteous and her old face new. Lo! Thus, by day my limbs, by night my mind, For thee and for myself no quiet find.
@@sandrapicton6349 I should have cited William Shakespeare. He might have just said "I'm lying in bed thinking of you." But instead we get this glorious flowering.
Oh how mobile phones then would have prevented Kate from the kidnapping 😉and a whole lot of other misunderstanding 😉. Enjoyed story and narration ❤ Thank you 🙏
Oh, I so get what you mean. I have just finished a series that was narrated by a supposedly well know American narrator but, I couldn't handle the way she was pronouncing certain words as though she was trying to be more French than English. Being from a strict English heritage, it irks me. Why would you ever not use an English narrator for a Regency novel?

I absolutely loooooove the voice of this narrator! It makes the book shine 🥰

I like this story and hope there are more stories
I love this narrator.
I really love Eleanor as well! Glad you're enjoying her narration
Enjoyed this story! Well written and especially loved that the heroine is tall, which is rare. It’s always a petite lady. We need more tall heroines!
Agreed! I come from a tall family :)
@@AuthorMarthaKeyes i loved a tall girl once. maybe my love for her within this heart of mine is still aglow.
What an excellent storyline and narrator! Thankyou so much for all your trouble💟
I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for listening
Eleanor Caudill is one of the best narrators I have heard. Thank you.

For some reason I found myself having to rewind often, because she talks to fast at times.
I heartily dislike the pseudo British pronunciation and often mispronounced words (mullish instead of mulish for example)

Someone always has to complain.

I Like the narrators voice but the strange way she pronounces words is annoying
My guess is she is American trying to speak in an English accent 😊
