Why is it that Bridgerton novels are so popular and were turned into a TV show when there are far superior novels like these in the world?! Yours are just as entertaining, but the stories, writing, characters are just better in every way. I think they would make excellent movies, too. Onto the next!

I'm so glad these wonderful stories are being brought to life by a skilled narrator and not the AI that others have employed, although narrator doesn't do the story teller justice. Someone who brings every emotion and nuance to a tale so well written. It's such a treat to be so completely immersed in a good audio book. Thank you.

I noticed you have sequels to this (I am going to begin Isabel tonight), did you write one for poor Clara, or have any plans to do so? She's ruined by scandal, her family disgraced; what a wonderful set-up for a redemption and romance! If you haven't considered it, please do! 😊

This book was FABULOUS! My favorite of the whole series. I fell a little in love with Tobias myself, and Lady Anne was a joy. Both with hearts of gold. I didn't want it to end. Thank you both for another great book. Love to you both.💗

While the reader excellent at voice acting the dialogue, the bits in between, the narrator, is very hard to listen to. It sounds extremely affected. I bet she'd be an amazing reader if she can make the narrator sound a little less like a pompous school ma'am. SophiAH, CeciliAH, advAHntage, one anahtha, notice hah (her), lahve, hahnd, ideah. Addicted to your humour. Thank you for making these books available.❤

Oh thank goodness for a human voice who brings syntax,, nuance and depth to such a wonderful story, not to mention a great command of accents to bring the characters to life. Thank you for a most enjoyable book.

I’m only a third of the way done and already feel this has just become one of my favorite books!

I am so glad that the characters were consistent. So many writers seem to think there needs to be some dramatic blow up during which the characters turn on each other. Not Austin and Mia! They came together stronger when they realized that both had contributed to the problem they were facing. It was refreshing.

So good! I listened to this entire audiobook in one day 😅 I couldn't stop!

There's that quote from "Starman": "You humans are interesting: you're at your best, when things are at their worst."

What an absolutely captivating, fun, sad, and "happy ending" story!!! I enjoyed listening to it so much as I worked in my garden. It was wonderful how they were able to forgive each other and move on with love and peace in their hearts. (all but one that is!) Thank you for this awesome story and for the others I've listened to. I'm sad to leave the Highwayman but look forward to another of your well written stories!
