It's not meant for owner operators. It's meant for Rental houses and specific scenarios. Imagine shooting during rain on a Car crane with stabilizer. Having this would be the difference between having a good shot and having a shot ruined by water drops on the lens. Chill your panties about the price. It's not meant for your needs.

I was filming a music video on a speed boat last night and i kept cleaning my lens , this would have been usefull
While bigger, the better and quieter option is the spinning glass plate. I have seen that option both produced and homemade
3500 $ for a 8 pound leafblower on my camera.. no thanks.. smh

$3k is too much in my opinion , but i could understand $500 - $1000 price range.
