    This is a rare Subaru owner. These EJs will go to redline every day and tick away to 200k miles as long as you maintain them.

      Absolutely. I’ve never had issues with my STIs because I took care of them and serviced them.

      That’s pretty much the new WRX… it’s not “lifted” per se but it does have much more ground clearance than the older models.

      @@phwnseriously. Some people hate the plastic, but it clads the areas that get beat up the most. Not even for off road-I daily my STI all year round and the front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper are all beat up from New England roads and winters.

    I have Reigers on my 04 but god damn this one is LIFTED lifted. Maybe it just looks weird since it’s running stock tires

    TheThoper I noticed you drive where i grew up quite a bit in SE Michigan, you should check out Hankerd Rd in the Pinckney Recreation area off N. Territorial, its got the some of the best twisties you'll find if you don't know about it already. That whole Pinkney/Waterloo area is great for spirited driving or just cruising, just gotta keep it safe and look out for trail crossings or cyclers.

    I pretty much have the same get up on my 17 wrx. Ksport gravel coilovers, downsized sti brakes, method mr502s, stock fa20. I waited a long time before I changed anything on the car and I'm glad I did. Was planning on power mods and stuff, but Im so glad I waited to see what I wanted after 50k miles or so. Glad I don't have to worry about reliability and get to have the kind of fun that I want to. Just wish I had those sti diffs!

    If you're going to lift your STI? How about running a more aggressive tread pattern tire? You're negating the benefit of the lift, if you're using a street tire.. Just my take.
    We also own a 2020 STI. So it's not like I am talking trash on something I don't know, anything about.

    Something is off but I can’t put my finger on it. It might just be something stupid like the lack of dirt and livery but something is definitely a miss to my eyes that I can’t seem to figure out.

    Question for my fellow STI owners. I also have a 2017 STI, about 46k miles at the moment. I bought it with 17k. I’m also stock except for suspension and exhaust. I planned to do a catch can, but never got around to it. This is the first I’ve heard about replacing PCV lines at every other oil change. Does anyone else do this?

      To me, the low-profile tires are the issue. You have this all-roady suspension, but then you have the skinny asphalt rubber... Doesn't look right, imo. If it had high-profiles, I think it would look right.

    $18,500 for a car that got grazed by a deer, nibbled on by a dog on the inside, and is modified. Also, it’s 6 years old with around 100,000 miles on it. Nope, not worth it imo.
