Based off of Chelsea’s preseason results that don’t really matter, I have advice for a section of their fanbase who’s ready to watch another season of misery from their team. Even under a new manager, there are some issues they’ve yet to truly be resolved and it’s going to be interesting to see how much time they’re going to give to him because when they’re struggling, the fans are going to probably back him as they’ve accepted the reality of this football club and they understand their situation. Bring your tissues because there’s going to be a lot of tears from their fans every time they suffer an embarrassing loss even though they’re used to it by now, whenever they lose, they’re going to have nightmares meaning that they shouldn’t sleep after they play and then just pray for a better ownership as these guys need a miracle. As much as Enzo Maresca is experimenting, being able to settle on their best lineup and implement a consistent style of play from a tactical perspective, it’s not going to be easy and many of their fans have to have patience with him as you can’t expect him to be a success overnight as he’s an inexperienced manager at this level and this is supposed to be a long term project even though whenever they have a manager and they give them a lengthy contract, they’re going to last less than 12 months at the club and this is exactly what’s going to happen with him. Since they have too many players in their squad as a result of the incompetence of their management, I have a feeling that he’s going to have to deal with a dysfunction in the dressing room that he cannot control and the manager will be the first person to be blamed if that happens. It’s true that it’s only preseason and we cannot solely judge them until the actual games start since they have many players who are set to return from their breaks, but they’ve already lost 3 out of 5 games. They lost 4-1 to Celtic, they lose to the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid who didn’t have their full strength squads, I mean they conceded 4 goals to Man City’s 2nd string team and just a reminder that they’re going to play against them on the opening game of the season in the Premier League meaning they’re going to almost be close to having a full squad. They just can’t defend as they’re conceding easy goals for fun and this is going to be an issue for them next season no matter what team they play against and Maresca has to fix this problem and even with great coaching, this is also down to the players and them communicating with each other. Watch them find a way to sack him and this is how they approach their business these days.

Based off of Chelsea’s preseason results that don’t really matter, I have advice for a section of their fanbase who’s ready to watch another season of misery from their team. Even under a new manager, there are some issues they’ve yet to truly be resolved and it’s going to be interesting to see how much time they’re going to give to him because when they’re struggling, the fans are going to probably back him as they’ve accepted the reality of this football club and they understand their situation. Bring your tissues because there’s going to be a lot of tears from their fans every time they suffer an embarrassing loss even though they’re used to it by now, whenever they lose, they’re going to have nightmares meaning that they shouldn’t sleep after they play and then just pray for a better ownership as these guys need a miracle. As much as Enzo Maresca is experimenting, being able to settle on their best lineup and implement a consistent style of play from a tactical perspective, it’s not going to be easy and many of their fans have to have patience with him as you can’t expect him to be a success overnight as he’s an inexperienced manager at this level and this is supposed to be a long term project even though whenever they have a manager and they give them a lengthy contract, they’re going to last less than 12 months at the club and this is exactly what’s going to happen with him.
Since they have too many players in their squad as a result of the incompetence of their management, I have a feeling that he’s going to have to deal with a dysfunction in the dressing room that he cannot control and the manager will be the first person to be blamed if that happens. It’s true that it’s only preseason and we cannot solely judge them until the actual games start since they have many players who are set to return from their breaks, but they’ve already lost 3 out of 5 games. They lost 4-1 to Celtic, they lose to the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid who didn’t have their full strength squads, I mean they conceded 4 goals to Man City’s 2nd string team and just a reminder that they’re going to play against them on the opening game of the season in the Premier League meaning they’re going to almost be close to having a full squad. They just can’t defend as they’re conceding easy goals for fun and this is going to be an issue for them next season no matter what team they play against and Maresca has to fix this problem and even with great coaching, this is also down to the players and them communicating with each other. Watch them find a way to sack him and this is how they approach their business these days.
Chelsea has been completely destroyed by the current owners. They are absolutely lost and out of their depths. Their policy is devoid of any form of direction or clarity. They are spending billions on unproven players whilst selling the club's best talents and, in some cases, proven and premier league-ready players. The playing style is rudderless. The club's best players are watching as the club's stockpiles young players whilst alienating them and, at time, pushing them to the fringes. Both the owners and the coaching staff are utterly lost! Chelsea is officially dead with these owners!!!
This pundits should know better than to judge everything based on preseason. Last season our preseason was amazing or did y’all forget, and look how everything went down. So I don’t need this people to lecture us bc preseason means nothing going on into the season. What it really does is showing what needs to be improved.
