I’ve had a lot of issues with skin texture and the best thing I did for my skin is to stick to a simple routine! Nobody’s skin has ever needed 4+ steps for skincare until businesses started making things up to capitalize off of us. I stick to a face wash, toner, a serum (retinol & niacidimide (both of which aren’t even that necessary), and a moisturizer! Once I kept it simple and stayed consistent and decided not to introduce new products my skin was banging!!! Also remember that your skin will go through a purging cycle pretty much every time you use new products, at least mine did!
Also, just because the skincare is more expensive doesn’t mean it’s a good product or better than drugstore skincare! Cerave has amazing products that did wonders for my skin and it’s so affordable!
Also I think you should give your skin a break. Just stick to the basics - cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. Because you’ve used/tried so many products on your face, you could be breaking out the way you are due to your skin barrier being damaged. If you feel like this helps, reintroduce acids and all that fancy stuff. The great barrier relief by krave beauty saved my skin after overusing ahas/bhas. Hope this helps 🤍
This is exactly what my dermatologist said to do. My skin's barrier was ruined due to all the products I was using that I thought helped. I've been using cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen (all under $20) and my skin has never been better.
Also random but whenever i am consistently doing HITT work outs (3-4 times a week) and sweating, my skin is so nice. That + lots of water !! Good luck 🍀

I had Lasik this summer! I was super nervous at first but it was the easiest procedure. It goes by so fast and you barely feel a thing. Literally, the best thing I've ever done.
I had LASIK done 11 years ago, best decision ever! My eyes weren’t that bad, but I was tired of glasses and contacts. My vision is still 20/15 so great

You’re beautiful 😊 I also suffered from acne. It’s horrific and you get rid of it and then having to deal with the scaring. U seem like u have tiny amount, which can easily fade over time. Co2 fractional laser can also help speed up the healing process. Love your video 😊❤
girl i did prk! recovery is a bit longer than regular lasik, but i don’t regret it. just fyi you can smell the laser legit burning your eyes then they put a cooling gel and it feels like you’re eyes are in a freezer. i wasn’t prepared for that and wish someone told me so i could mentally prepare hahahah

I have myopia myself, and I always wanted to get laser eye surgery whenever I was old enough, and when I turned 18 I went to a different eye doctor than my old one, who recommended that I don’t get lasik or anything like that done! I was shocked but he said that it has negative side effects on the long run! (dry eye is one of them) also I remember Kylie Jenner had the surgery and woke up once not being able to see… I don’t mean to scare you or be negative but I just thought I’d share my thoughts! maybe the procedure has come a long way now and side effects are being minimized 🤷🏼♀️
Dry eye usually goes away within 3-12 months. Also Kylie woke up that way within days of surgery and it’s normal to have that right away, it usually goes away within a few days to a week :)
skin cycling is something dr whitney bowe talks about and pretty sure invented !! she explains it more in depth on her ig !! she also talks about how for acne prone skin you should switch to a 3 night cycle (exfoliate, retinol, rest)
You shouldn’t be using those pads along with a retinol, otherwise your way over exfoliating your face, just use the pads one night, then give your skin a break. Then use retinol another night!
I wish I could afford Lasik. 😕 My eyes have been bad since kindergarten, and I'm almost 28. It's SO expensive!! Even with insurance. Oh well, guess I'll keep wearing my glasses/contacts. Blessed to have those. 🙂
hey maggie, you should checkout Brianna Stanko - Skin Truth here on youtube. She focuses on clearing acne from the inside out with proper nutrients. I think you would really like her. She cleared her teenager's son's acne just by having him take certain supplements. Hope this helps!!
