People not realizing this is an anti-horde tool and not a insta-kill ARMORED ENEMIES tool is consistently frustrating. Its a cluster strike but in your hands

Kind of a terrible anti-horde tool, though. Cant use it if the horde is within like 20 meters, you constantly need to kneel to reload, ammo is super limited, high danger of teamkills, uses a backpack slot. The stalwart does horde clear without any of those drawbacks.

So... The walls themselves are glitched. You and your teammate were getting rocked because if you stand at the edge of the wall you feel effects of things all along the wall. Test it by burning the wall 10 meters away.. your team will Burst into flames
Man I feel like instead of an explosive cluster bomb a toxic gas cluster would be safer and still really cool.

No joke, I found them most helpful for evacs
I found a few planets have very small chokepoints in some of their evacuations .

I play automatons, and I’m the guy that will run away from the team to clear half the map solo, this launcher fits like a glove. One well place shot will clear an entire small camp, then you run in and break the spawned with a grenade. I usually run scorcher, senator(finally feels like the big iron it’s supposed to), impacts, light armor with throw range boost, 500kg, laser(for large bases), air burst, and either auto cannon, or anti tank launcher
I do the same thing, but I much prefer the Spear, I like to hit and run and avoid fights whenever possible, if I do start an engagement I do so with a cluster strike (for which this is an alternative).
I’m your opposite, I’m the big guy with the laser that help you with devastator on the bots and the “medic like” always front line guy with flamethrower on bugs 😂
@@giosue_222 every time I see a teammate in trouble and try to help (I’m the stealthy guy), I end up getting killed cuz then everything is angy with me.
I realized that it's better for solo too, when you try to play grouped you can't use it as much because some one is usually right next to the enemies.
I am 99% sure that the dev added code on sentry and drone to target players (when there are enemies near by) in certain percentage, since friendly fire and accident is one of the main theme in the game. The problem I have with it is is that the percentage is way too high. Finally I am pretty sure some people will come out and say I am crazy or something, to that I will suggest to go back and check how meteor shower used hit player dead on if they don't move, and clear 2~3 objective for the player (they just hit directly on couple of bug holes)
The Airburst redemption is real, I love taking this thing and bringing EATs for Chargers and Titans. Really shines if you have competent teammates and you use it right.
The launcher has back blast. You're standing with your back against a small wall and the blast is knocking you around.
For what it's worth, the Airburst Rocket Launcher looks usable now thanks to its bug fixes, especially for base defense missions against bugs. Now, I'm waiting to see how much better it would perform with a team reload. I might try that out with a friend someday, but I've been focused on the new Termicide operation at the moment.
But at this point, isnt the grenade launcher just the better version if you only care about clearly the trash mobs?
Or the starter MG so you can get rid of trash mobs on your teammates rear without exploding everyone.
Though ngl, Burst launcher IS fun to use when you are not exploding everyone with it.
much bigger explosion, chance for more kills. Also works as anti air (grenade launcher no good 4 that). But slower reload. Similar, but different
Yeah true it’s way better 😂 but has a shorter range if your not super good at it. Still I’d take it over that any date for clearing non heavies.
@@salaciousdaz8316 anti air for bugs sure but definitely not for the bots. The gunship can go down in 1 hit if you are lucky but most likely won't. Plus, they always come in pairs so it's not that great (especially if you dont have a teammate to help with the backpack)
And even for bugs, you can't take down their nest and the bugs themselves go down with literally any bullet so it's really not worth it IMO.
It's a fun weapon but there's clearly better options in almost all cases.

When I start an engagement, I like to do so with a cluster strike, this seems like a viable alternative but doesn’t fit any of my builds right now.
Oh man is that thing FUN to use tho :) Really good at taking down POI's and patrols. I think it has a sweet spot right now
It really should be a trigger to fire and then trigger again to detonate, it would both balance for skill and prevent premature detonation of prosperity.
Idk I like the randomness of it, sometimes it detonates properly, sometimes it doesnt.lol. it's the perfect weapon
any mission that has bug holes, so all of them.....just shoot it in when they pop out and you will get tons of kills. Though is it worth a backpack slot and a support weapon. you can run autocanon and eagle cluster and have way more versatility than running this and eagle airstrike....though we will see. Its also good that it is not effective against armored enemies or it would be op
I got 33 kills with one shot earlier today. It felt so awesome
A weapon seeking purpose
The reduced recoil in first person I don’t notice any change. Running on ps5 with a 144 hertz monitor but this game is stuck at 60 for ps5

Facts, I feel as though, maybe it shouldn't take the Charger out, but I do think it should take the armor off it at least.

You can kill charger and bile titan if you aim under their belly with 2-3 shots, but i agree it is not that effective compare to EAT etc

The punisher plasma needs to be fixed you can’t use it with the shield backpack it’ll blow up in your face everytime you use it it hits your shield

It being a rocket launcher has nothing to do with being good against armor. Should the Grenade Launcher be able to penetrate heavy armor? No, because thats not what its for.
A real grenade launcher would have some penetration to it.
I guess It's kinda like a cluster bomb in the game. Good for small infantry and low armored enemies, but less effective against medium or superior armor.
I did some good killing with anything small, but nothing impressive on medium and heavy bots/bugs

It should still do damage to heavy armor, just to 50% less than other rockets or at least just knock armor off at the very least. Otherwise yeah plenty of explosive guns that can clear better.
imagine dedicating both support slots so you can kill patrols lmao use what you enjoy but arguing it's good right now is just delusional there's 3 better options for every situation
Averaging about 3 kills per launch is.... disappointing.... You're better off with a machinegun and just spraying.
Fire at ground beneath the charger, stay on team flanks, keep distance from team, scan for targets that are encroaching! I get 10-20 with each shot! SOUNDS LIKE A SKILL ISSUE!😂😂😂😂😂
the Slugger and railgun got nerfed hard has an example. the eruptor simply has less magazines.

What? The slugger got nerfed awhile ago and the RG was buffed.
The railgun got buffed in this patch? It resembles that of itself on release, only takes about half a second longer per charged shot (assuming half between max and safe mode) and there’s no longer a PS5 bug so it may seem useless against Bile titans but it was never intended as a true answer to them

The only reason he gets full is bc he got the new upgrade, normally is prolly gonna get only 2 without the upgrade

@@biggreen8025all rockets get 3 per resup box at base. (Recoilless and air burst as of now) with auto cannon getting one row in the backpack.
