In India it's UPSC - Civil services examination. And it's the toughest exam of india and among the top 10 toughest exam in the world. 😅😅 Vacancy is only 700-800 and more than 1 million aspirants attempt this exam. Selection ration is not even 1%.
There are 3 phases pre + mains + interview, even in you failed interview, you have to sit again for preliminary exam, and preliminary is the toughest stage 😂😂, there are many people's who even reached interview 4-5 times , but didn't make it to the final list
Sab paiso ka khel hota hai, people's from rich family background got all the facilities, guidence, support, environment, coaching, No family responsibilities so only they can prepare wholeheartedly but it's very difficult for Financially poor person to prepare this kind of exam because it need lots of time and family support, people's who have family responsibilities and low financial condition, can't sit at home 3-4 years without doing nothing

QUESTION: Should a really patriotic person who wants to impact the country in a positive manner go for CSS or NOT???? i am confused, i prepared for CSS from NOA but i lost my motivation at the end as i thought given the economic situation of Pakistan its better to venture in entrepreneurship and impact more positively than being a CSP. Am i right or CSS is a good choice for a person who is motivated to work for country in a true sense. NONETHElESS remunerations are important too, could a person earn good living through just means as a CSP or is it just corruption which makes big bucks??
Is there any profession that doesn't have a positive impact? Health, construction, aviation sectors, religious clerics, peons, gardeners, cooks, chefs and many more. Who doesn't have a positive impact? except the drug dealers. Don't be one.
Oh, you need a well-paid job too. Pick your choice.

I believe whether to join the service or not is completely subjective.
On one hand it can provide one with the opportunities to curtail the nearest wrong doing in the sense that once you’re a ahead of an organization or a group, the kind of ideas you represent is what shall further be conveyed from your office manifolds. Secondly, these days, a mass of educated and well aware lot is applying for the service in order to save and protect from what’s left in out torn country as an effect of being present in a network, connectivity and information intensive era. On the other hand, remuneration is a challenge in this path for the most part.
Change is a broad idea. It does not mean it should be made from one dynamic only; rather, change needs to be struck from all the possible sides.
Yes, being a css officers provides a rather more direct opportunity to play a more positive role in society, but always remember that unless a country’s private sector is thriving, innovation, development, or change for the matter may be really slow.
So, if you want to make change, just be honest in whatever you do.

The system is rotten to the core. May Allah have mercy on my motherland.

Everyone in Pakistan want to become a css officer which make burden on economy by giving them huge amount of salaries and other benefits.. foreign countries don't have any css system instead they go for business
