Wow! I think that front end actually came from us. I remember a one off painted green east german front end we sold last year I think. So glad it's back and functioning! Great work!
no numbers match, butstock is NOS and the rest of the furniture is good compared to the metal, it looked like a pieced together kit but despite its very worn appearance it came out pretty nice.
Nice! I did the same with my 107R. I have an East German plastic buttstock, grip, and upper handguard on it, as well as a bakelite lower handguard, slant brake muzzle device, and a few EG magazines. I'm currently looking for an East German rear sight leaf and safety lever for it. I just love the unique look of the East German furniture. 👍
Very cool! I’ve been wanting to see one of these. A friend was a machinist in the Army and had to machine a geometrically precise cube out of aluminum as a final exam. He told me about a guy who was a machinist in the German Army who had to do the same final exam and make the same perfect cube but using only hand files.
Always love your posts and videos! You are an information keeper on all things AK. Can’t wait to talk to you again since you moved to Phoenix. Stay well.
Sadly they not only refined the military aspect, but super tuned marxisim at the same time, I'm not political thankfully, I'm just glad such examples of exceptional ordnance exists.
Well i got a original gun with matching numbers (but deactivated by germanlaws) One built in 1970 And two in 1985 + 1x Mpi aks 74 nk build in 89 And yes youre right the guns are very well made But dont say that until you tryd a Polish one These are a little bit better made Thats my opinion (And im from East Germany btw)
Hi Jim, Can you answer a quick question. If I take off the pebble stock and put on a East German wood stock , does it hurt the value , or just leave it as is. the gun seems too light in the rear , but it isn't a real big deal . thanks very much. Long time fan.
@@theartofsniping4826 Zenitco doesn't make AK parts, they only make furniture and accessories and KUSA is in reality a commercial copy of the original, not the same thing.

Possibly!
I am asking myself why I didn’t buy this parts kit when you had it in stock.

@@jimfuller5559 i personally really like the worn look, especially when its from use in service. She’s a keeper
A very unique version, the only ones that have polymer components.
Been saying this for years!!! Love East German Militaria!! My 104fr has EG parts on it thanks to Apex Gun Parts.
A few years ago, I found an E. German magazine pouch for the AKs they produced. I love the proto-digital camo they had back then

Love the MPi-KM. Built a clone of one not too long ago.
I didn't know Fuller had this channel. Amazing content.
Make more videos like this, twice as long please, I'd like to see a zpap zastava build , and some tula and ismash videos like this, thanks

DDR/GDR made pretty much the highest quality of any equipment fielded under the Soviet Union.
EG was best G, in regards to guns and gear that is 😉
Of course it would be the industrious Germans who made the best Commie gear

I have one made my first 200yd hit with it
Got to ask, was every East German MPi-KM rifle blued? I have a 68' kit and wanted to get the finish correct.
Thanks for the info didn't know that.
Jim Fuller did not just call it a Kalishnikov 🤦♂️
That's cool. I personally wouldn't refinish it.

How can I get a hold of you , I don’t have social media but I have a Eg kit with a front end but I would like it built .
An East German '74 if the absolute peak of my buy list if I could afford any rifle. The 7.62 stuff is really nice too.
Kalishkinov 🥴
Besides the east german aks, where are the next best parts kits from?
Poland or Bulgaria
I keep wondering if a U.S. quality parts kit will ever happen.
if the market demands it but the reality the majority of AK's sold in America are the lower and mid tier market
Kalashnikov-usa makes quality guns and Zentico(best ak parts maker) is coming to the US soon

Well, it was a German who designed the AK.
No fricken way, (someone please confirm my thoughts) is this the Jim Fuller!?
Absolutely
@@fullerphoenix903 No way! I’ve been missing your RUclips channel for way too long!

I just hate the stock, makes my trypophobia kick in…. Love Jim’s rifles though.
Can someone please post link to the end refurb result?
