Jason would win, he has better feats of strength, a better healing factor, and better durability. Jason has also been shown to be just as creative, calculated and cunning in killing his victims. He also has experience fighting supernatural enemies. I think Michael would put up a decent fight but ultimately Jason would come out on top.

Micheal will always be my guy, but in a straight up fight.. Jason would own Micheal Myers. Jason is stronger, a lot tougher, and more experienced fighting supernatural opponents than Micheal. Jason been to hell and back, fought Freddy, a telekenetic girl, Ash Williams, future robots & space marines…. came back from getting his body blown into bits, etc. Jason has handled and done more on a supernatural standpoint than Micheal has. Micheal never lost an head and came back or has never fought anything that was just as strong or stronger than him before.

Micheal got killed in his newest movie. And Jason only officially died once when he was human. Ever since he became undead in Jason lives, he hasn’t died, only incapacitated. There’s a difference between being incapacitated and dying. They beat Jason by knowing his weakness. The only way Jason can be incapacitated is by being locked under water where he drowned and #2 by another Voorhees family with a dagger to stab Jason in the heart. Micheal has no way of knowing this about Jason. And just because Micheal hasn’t died doesn’t earn him a win. Micheal can still die. Micheal has not nearly taken as much damage as Jason. Jason even got blown up to pieces and still came back. Even survived Freddy dream world attacks. There a reason why Micheal switched clothes with the paramedic. Micheal gets his head cut off he’s dead, with Jason he can come back to life to posses another body. Jason is just too tough for Micheal.
Michael cannot win. Jason is far stronger and tougher, he's innovative in his kills, he's methodical, he can quickly adapt to his surroundings while using them to his favour and he's really good at dismembering people. That's not even including any of his more supernatural abilities. Hands down, Jason wins. It's not even close.

1:50 Correction: Jason’s facial deformities were not the result of hydrocephalus. They were the result of osteopetrosis, otherwise known as “Stone Bone Disease” or “Unbreakable Bone Disease”. One of the symptoms of osteopetrosis is unusual bone growth, causing physical deformities. When this occurs on the skull, the resulting deformity can greatly resemble hydrocephalus in appearance. However the reasons for the deformities are very different. The deformities caused by hydrocephalus are caused from excess fluid around the brain pushing outward against the skull while it’s still soft and pliable, thus causing a misshapen skull when the bone hardens. So the skull is just as thick and as durable as any other skull, just misshapen. Osteopetrosis, however, causes the bone to grow thicker and thicker in various points of the skull. So the parts of the skull that are of normal thickness are stronger than regular bone, but just as thick, while the areas that are deformed are just as strong as the thinner areas of the skull, but are significantly thicker. Only problem with this, and I was confused so I had to check online and was correct, osteopetrosis DOES cause abnormally high bone density. However when bones become too dense from the disease, it actually makes the bones more brittle and prone to fractures and breakage.. so if anything Jason would have a much harder time with his physical constitution/sturdiness and taking such damage and hits. The only thing I can think of to get around that would be his regeneration factor, but it would have to be faster than is shown in the series to make up for it, like near instantaneous. And regardless he would still be prone to fractures/breakage, having highly dense bones wouldn't grant him any perks

In the Freddy vs Jason vs Ash comic, it was revealed that Jason was brought back by his mother using the Necronomicon, making him a type of deadite. Also, to back up the claim made in the comic, the Necronomicon made an appearance in Jason Goes to Hell.
Those are the New Line Cinema timeline movies. He’s not a Deadite in Part 1-8 which is the original Paramount Pictures timeline.

Its refreshingly straightforward, as most of our fellow commenters have pointed out. If we're assuming its the early, full on mortal versions of both, i believe Michael has the edge (more fighting and manipulation experience, much stronger and stealthier than the counselors who very clearly tackled both jason and his mother, and roughly equal mobility. If its the later, blatantly superhuman versions, Jason atomizes Myers. Michael may survive incredibly deadly events, but only Jason is flat-out unbothered by death, with actual bombs not finishing him (allegedly)

Let's go with Rob Zombies Halloween Myers and the latest remake of Jason. Those are the only two versions that didn't do anything strange, like teleport, blow up, get shot, drowned, and just magically have a new strange skill... These are the two that are the most real. Giving them character. So, with that being said, it would be two bad ass huge insane guys fighting.
Michael got fed to an industrial grinder. Jason came back from hell, and has been brought back with nano bots in Jason X. Michael takes a lot of time to regenerate. It isn't as immediate as Jason. Jason can also take more damage compared to Michael. Jason is undead, and Michael is just Michael with a long term regenerative ability.

Michael is extremely resistant to damage, and can get back up from mortal wounds. He is, however, still mortal... Jason on the other hand has transcended past that point since his resurrection. Once that happened, he became an immortal revenant who will come back to life no matter what happens to his body. He also dwarfs Michael's regenerative properties as well. Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees are almost matched in strength and skill, but Jason would come out on top eventually due to endurance, damage resistance, and much more.
Jason once punched a guy's head off they are not even close in strength. Also in the reboot version he is a master of hunting and trapping that Jason alone would be a complete nightmare for Michael.

Since everyone is floating around novels and comics throughout these threads, the part 2 and 4 novel go into detail about all this and give great explanations as to what happened when he drowned, when he returned, how he grew up in the woods trying to grasp what he now was, etc. Tommy just gave him enough damage in 4 to put him into a state of dormancy. Similar to how he was between 6 and 7 and just woke up.
You can’t be a mortal, fully grown retard man in the woods and also have supernatural strength and survive everything he went through in 2-4. Thats all just an unconfirmed theory. He couldnt be a regular human mortal man, makes no sense and this is a horror movie, anyway. The theory that holds more weight is that he died as a boy in the lake and returned as a kind of revanant or supernatural means, that’s his ‘legend, yet the characters don’t understand the legend is true.
It was purposefully left ambiguous in the early films but, the survival in the woods thing started as a half drunken theory Ginny was spouting off in a bar to rationalize a legend she would have no idea about anyway and it just caught like wild fire amongst fans.
There’s more on screen evidence in later sequels and other media that back the claim that he died and/or has been a form a revanant from the start. Early novels, especially part 2s novelization, go into detail of his resurrection, return, and regeneration and of course it was Victor Millers (the creator of Friday and Jason) the original script writers intent to have him die to give it more impact for Pamela’s vengeance.
Besides, Halloween fans around here seem to be pulling feats from every source like comics and novels to paint Michael in a better more powerful light aside from his films, so I guess anything goes.

Pennywise wouldn't work because he only feeds of the fears of children similar to Freddy and nightmares. Wishmaster perhaps if there were no prerequisites as far as having to actually make a wish since they are a djinn. The djinn is powerful and has reality warping powers but unfortunately they have a set rule that prevents them from going all out. On the other hand Leprachaun yes since Leprachaun has similar powers but without the rules. I would add them to the list with Pinhead. Saw this title and instantly ctfu. I go by final appearance ignoring reboots, so Mike could not even beat senior citizen Laurie Strode. Jason prior to the reboot was clearly a demon and on top of that was fused with some sort of adamantium shell that made him impenetrable. The only way to get rid of him was to flush his arse like a xenomorph into outer space. Had Jason been on Earth when that happened, it would have been game over, or they would have had to trap him like Tommy did at the bottom of some ocean. I am guessing that would be the only way Myers could win is if he outsmarted Jason by trapping him but at that point, unless they are in space, Uber Jason as he is called in the video game is un-killable.

It boils down to the version of each character but even I as a Halloween main can admit that Jason X/Uber Jason is easily the most overpowered slasher villain of all time and I can’t see any version of Michael being able to kill him without rigging his environment into a massive trap. Alternatively but on the same note; Michael in Halloween Ends is so weak that he almost can’t be put up against another slasher villain without sure failure. So I will be leaving those two versions of these characters out of the comparisons I’m about to draw. Outside of that this does get interesting. Overall regardless of what version you get Jason has a better overall ability to take damage. In his first outing Jason actually lasted three straight films taking damage that would kill most and Michael did the same and ultimately was blown up and somehow survived but each time it is possible to incapacitate Michael if not outright kill him given enough time. Jason once resurrected was already tough to take down but now as a wrath/zombie you need serious fire power just to keep up with him. Whether it's they first outing or their last Jason wins without question.

As someone who prefers Michael over Jason as an overall character, even I will admit unbiasedly, in a fight, composite versions for both characters respectively, Jason wins. Ronny Yu also had Freddy’s Dad, Robert Shaye of New Line, whispering terrible creative decisions to give Freddy an edge.
That’s partly why they changed from Hodder initially to Kirzinger because Hodder was extremely vocal and protective of the Jason character and New Line didn’t want any push back on their vision. So they did him dirty and he found out publicly like everyone else that he was replaced. They didn’t want the cold brutally ruthless heavy breathing killing machine that Hodder portrayed.
What you ended up with was a slow sympathetic Frankensteinian strong ogre with a sword googly eyes and a coat who all of a sudden feared water (despite it being a nightmare) when he’s been killing bitches and marching straight in Crystal Lake since 86’, and who was retconned to being bullied to his death. It was a Freddy movie guest starring Jason-lite.
Paramount Jason written true to form in line with his movies, would’ve ended the real world battle as soon as Jason got a hold of him in that cabin.
Freddy was abnormally durable in the real world and Jason was abnormally slow. The movie also didn’t even follow Freddy’s lore correctly. Freddy needed souls in his previous sequels, not just fear. He was more powerful than ever in the real world in FVsJ and he only killed two people. Nancy lit him up with home made booby traps and he killed more victims theoretically making him stronger in ANOES 1, and in 3 Freddy even said the souls give me strength when Nancy shouted he’s never been this strong.
The dream world stuff against Jason was legit but the real world fight was a joke. I mean i get it, thay had to make Freddy durable to have a longer run time and movie but it was so out of character and ridiculously done, imo. One of the worst renditions of Jason, period. Solid kills but that’s about it.

pretty much any version of jason after part 6 demolishes Michael. Also I feel like people really need to understand that they’re different levels of IQ, michael has the more logical approaches and full scale intelligence while jason is a lot more battle smart and is skilled at hunting and killing. So while michael may be more logically smart, jason is more battle smart. The only categories michael has is speed (also debatable considering Jason has just as good feats), intelligence. We already know that Jason Voorhees is supernatural. But if they are both powered or enabled by a demonic energy, then I think this is one of those battles it will just never be won.

@@tekkamanviper2783 I see what you’re coming from but they had to use a crush in order to kill him completely. But honestly Halloween ends doesn’t really count as a Halloween movie. They made Mike Myers a side character in for a week so that they can have Corey take action. If it wasn’t for the Corey idea, I don’t think they would’ve done that with Michael Myers because they must have changed a story after they made a couple trailers because I’m one of the trailers they said that Michael Myers seems more dangerous. Yeah he wasn’t dangerous almost at all in the film. They change something up for a reason. But they are going to be making new Halloween movies in possibly show.
