for sandbox spawn a tube corner and drop it, go inside it and pick it up and go towards the skull. drop it and spawn inside and you can easily pick it up.
@jawanzasmith3463 Thank you elsewhere in the comments for having a Sandbox skull method that works in the modern era, as of 2023: drive an Elephant to the skull, back in towards it so the front of the Elephant shields you as you get the skull. Bring a quick respawning bubble shield thing to drop as soon as you stop driving the Elephant, to be safe.
What worked for me on Sandbox was placing a tp and bubble sheild by my spawn then flying the other teleporter to the skull since you can avoid the fire for a liitle bit when flying fast. Then tp place the bubnle sheikd and pick up the skull.
On Sandbox: Don't throw too many trip mines in one go, as this can cause the skull itself to despawn. This happened to me, so I just loaded up a new round, threw trip mines until first thing in my fov disappeared and went over and picked up the skill with no guardians.
Sandbox was patched, the mines now detonate as soon as the 9th one spawns. Edit: Get the Tube corner piece, get inside it, and drag it to the skull, makes good cover
No they don’t if you do it the way silver showed you you can keep spawning them until it drops you off that tower and then become the monitor and fly over to the skull and it will work just tested it a few minutes ago.
Honestly I believe the easiest trick if the trip mines don't work is just to spawn the Elephant with quick respawning bubble shields. All you do is drive the Elephant over there make sure the bubble shields are placed right next to the driver seat and then back into the skull the missles will shoot the Elephant but you take no dmg. Once you back into the skull just throw bubble shields to it
Things I learned for this, 1. His sandbox method didn't work, and it's nearly impossible to outsmart the guardians except for the way I did. Spawn a elephant but don't drive it, you won't explode but no matter how good you park it, once you get out you'll die. Instead get to the loading dock front part and lift it safely over to the skull, hide on the front left side behind the glass and you should be good. 2. Citidale was just ineffective, so I spawned boxes, stacked em, and reverted to spartan on top. The rest just take a little finagling swapping between spartan and monitor, good luck
xXIwackjobIXx That's weird. The guardians should have killed you. Maybe you were on some custom/modified/forged Sandbox map? Or it just straight up glitched and didn't kill you, lol.

@@ugiustuskeiserus8066 Some-what. It can get pushed out by a grav lift. I dropped a grav lift on top of another grav lift and the 2nd one flew up and pushed out the skull.
I just went to the skull location in the video well in edit mode and made shure I spawned above the skull on the black bar/beam right next when we’re the skull sits exited to human mode and as u fall grabbed the skull no grave lift needed

For the citadel skull just spawn 3 forerunner crates (one of top of each other), step on the top one and jump
For the Citadel skull I exited monitor mode and immediately held down the RB button to grab it

Here an easy way to get the skull on citadel.
Place a box near the skull, you can set the physics to fixed. Just stand on the box.

The tube corner trick doesn't work I've tried and when I get inside and grab it I teleport out and start no clipping through it

With Citadel skull it was much easier to just spawn two grav lifts and throw the second one into the first one. Saw this in another video.
