- Can you imagine setting the world record for the fastest 6speed Corvette your FIRST time at the track?! This guy can - and he’s got nothing but room to improve. He hasn’t even hooked up the nitrous yet! What does it take to become the fastest 6speed Corvette? Well besides one hell of a driver mod - you’ll find a stroker 5.3L with a MASSIVE F1-x Procharger strapped to it, and lots of fuel of course! We can’t wait to see more from this car next time we’re in Charlotte!

?? they fixed it. Had brand new gaskets and studs when they got the 7.82
@@mathieublier7264 yeah but he blew the headgasket again on the run before he ran the 7.82 and took all the coolant out for the WR run.
@@mathieublier7264 blew the gasket out on the 2nd or 3rd pass. Drained all coolant to keep it from blowing it out on the slicks while doing 170+.

There is something so damn sexy about seeing two absurdly powerful manuals going down the track bucking and pitching with every shift. AND doing 170 mph in the process! That is truly insane.

Yeah I mean it sucks you can't get a manual corvette, mustang, camaro, challenger, focus, fiesta, civic, accord, genesis etc.. /s. Sure manuals are becoming more rare but you can definitely find plenty of manual sports cars and still a decent ammount of economy cars come as manual.

Its so cool when you have a nicely prepped track and the car is dialed in perfectly. Guys a great driver also, you can tell he works hard to stay on top of it, down that quarter mile.

I'm not trying to be mean, and yes there's all sorts of aftermarket engine and transmission parts for Vettes. Search _aftermarket vette transmission_
It's like calling a Stock car a 'stock' OEM car. Now could it be 100% .. Pff slim chance. A stock transmission isn't designed for the torque of a 1,400 HP engine and it wouldn't take long for it to fly apart.
It's amazing how much can change in 10 months. Leeroy pwned this record 8.75/169 with a 7.82/176.5 and it's awesome Cleetus was here to see it, and to annihilate it so soon afterwards.

Except im a videogame you dont get thrown back in your seat from say, a 1000 horsepower automatic vehicle running im the 8 second range. If im considered a little girl for running 10-11 seconds in a 1/4 mile using an automatic car, then ill be a little girl all day long.
Side note: manual is fun as hell to use.
