As a result, the ships' beam was increased to 16.92 m (55.5 ft). Furutaka was sunk after a battle against USS Salt lake city and USS Ducan at Cape Esperance on the 12 of October 1942 , Kako was sunk by the submarine USS S-44 after the battle of Savo island on the 10 of August 1942. Honestly I only really like the Atago for the Japanese cruisers. She has the guns of Mogami but has much better torpedo angles than any other Japanese cruiser. She also has a better armor and profile design that reduces the citadel chance with her much lower profile.Hope you cover her at the end even though she isn't a tech tree ship.
I like this ship. The guns are really fun. Its very satisfying when you get good hits with only one barrel per turret. Ripple fire is the way to go. its also nice knowing that you can citadel other cruisers from 11km.... maybe more. Yamamoto is also the way to go
Spartan I might be wrong but I think you were missing the Langleys Citadel because the US Carriers have their citadels near the rear rather than the center

Added bonus you can bounce petor veliky rounds point blank no idea how that happened but it did. Atago I feel like has the best fire chance for ships every game I go in with it I get atleast a fire per salvo

I try and stick AL Atago on anything I own with torpedoes. Stealth torpedoes, what's not to love? Rust Bucket again, what do you have against Japanese CLs?

The IJN cruisers are one of my favorite lines. Most ppl dont know how to play this tech tree line, but if played correctly, it is very rewarding.

This a great series.I was an early adopter ,but there are certain tec lines I didn't have interest in so this lets me ships I might actually want.
