He did indeed commit crimes. He didn't pay the rent for over 4 months and he was mentally abusing a brain injured elderly person. Abuse of the elderly = jail time!
Don't forget the bruised woman he picked up and threw onto the ground and assaulted
And she's disabled. He should absolutely be in jail!
He didn't just assault her, he held her hostage and forced her to send texts/emails, that's kidnapping...
Adam led Claudia to take her own life - that individual needs to be held accountable

My moms name is Claudia and my dad passed June of last year and is in bad health...I couldnt imagine going through this, and cant say I couldve kept it together and have been able to handle it like you did. There needs to be more laws against squatters.
From what I see in thse videos. He's a narcissist. Nothing is ever thier fault, and if confornted with facts, they deflect, they gaslight, etc. It's always someone else's fault.
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others.
Actually what would commonly be called a sociopath or psychopath is called Antisocial Personality Disorder under the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual used by mental health professionals..DSM 5. Use his name as often as possible ADAM FLEISCHMAN is a retched criminal who has blood on his hand among several criminal acts upon an elderly grieving woman he stole from, and he battered a woman/friend who tried to protect the homeowner who was living in the home he took over. He alluded to two men he was offering to rent out the homeowner's room when she died, providing a pre-rental tour, benefitting from her death in overtaking the entire property. She "commits suicide" the day after he leaves" I immediately question whether he was complicit in her death. Fit with his display of Antisocial Personality Disorder..
Flash, you are a true hero. Keep up this great work. Continue working to get laws to protect property owners who purchase the house, pay the taxes and maintain the house. Thank you for what you are doing!

I've had this happen to me. Its terrible. I had to sell the place and let the new owner deal with them.
This sort of torment that lead claudia to not be able to cope with life anymore, These sorts of things need to be the fuel to get bills passed in america to protect people of squatters and elderly abuse. RIP Claudia. You needed love and support in your time of need, care and comfort. Not your sanctuary turned into a Torture chamber to squeeze the last bit of humanity out of you. I hope you are at peace.

Thank you. I admire your patient and calm approach. Sometimes squatters can be convinced and that’s your first option. After that, I see how you get creative and use what you have at your disposal to ultimately get them to leave.
Squatters sometimes have few options and take advantage of others because they can. He was a leech with no conscience. Lying is like breathing.
i am confused - if he had no key or lease - how and why was he entering this home? could she not lock the door and keep him out?
LAPD told her that she either had to give him a key or she wasn’t allowed to lock the door. She chose to not lock the door. If I’m in that situation I know the LAPD had no jurisdiction to tell her anything. Civil matter means civil and releases Police authority. She should have locked the door day one. But most people are intimidated by Police presence. Thanks for watching.
@@FlashShelton i got rid of a squatter roomate by changing locks. he called sheriff. I told them hey guys this guy bounced his move in check. the contract was never settled. he leaves and he leaves right now and there's no possible way he lives in my house. they reminded me that it was illegal what I was doing and I said oh don't you worry i'l give him back every penny he gave me. and hung up. told the slacker loser his stuff on the front porch. he came over and surprised to see every last thing on the front porch. I didn't let him inside. problem solved. and the sheriff probably congratulated me when we got off the phone
@@FlashSheltonWow....yeah this all seems so contrived until this clarification that the police have no idea what they are doing. That poor woman, the police who are supposed to protect her very seriously harmed her and caused her to take her own life, ultimately. It is sad that so many police officers have no idea what the laws even say or what they are talking about. This world gets worse by the day. "Not allowed to lock the door"...from a police officer completely defies basic common sense.

His intention was to "legally" rob the house. He intended on staying until he could claim it for himself under one of the dumbest laws of (don't rember the law's name) "owning" due to living there for so long.
Adverse possession is what it's called. California is probably like other states where you have to live there for 10 years and pay property taxes to get ownership

How did he not get charged for assault for attacking the young woman with the bruises? This guy essentially did a slow motion push-in on an elderly woman. Clearly he’s abusive to women. Usually the criminal will push-in to a home with an elderly person and then use it for a few weeks, dealing drugs. This guy is a menace who belongs in prison.
The victim moved out of state in fear and wouldn’t testify.
Your story would make a great movie about a man dealing with a squatter and taking matters into his own hands when the legal system fails him. I could see Josh Brolin playing you in that film.

Can you have squatters rights in an empty house on a military base or in a room in a courthouse or Fed buildings, or a shopping mall these are public spaces? Some people have to get over on you even if it means they lose everything they just want to get over..it’s a sickness.. he probably didn’t pay his suppliers for his restaurant or his workers because he wanted to get over..even if it meant losing his business, he had to get over on them.
