Achamma shares the journey of her granddaughter, Soujanya, who was diagnosed with scoliosis. Initially, her back, ankles, and legs started swelling, making it difficult for her to walk. She was diagnosed with thoracolumbar congenital scoliosis and multiple hemivertebrae. Prof. Ranganathan performed a posterior instrumented fusion and excision of the hemivertebrae, achieving significant correction. Her gait issues and costo-pelvic impingement were also resolved post-surgery.
