Nice video! I just upgraded to this hitch after running with a Fastway E2. Quick question: For the L bracket install the manual indicates to place them between 27-32 inches from the center of the coupler head, depending on your clearance. What would be your recommended placement distance if there is nothing in the way? Meaning if I have room to place mine anywhere in that recommended range of 27-32 inches should I shoot for the middle of that? Thanks!

I was trying to install the 10k model today but after coupling the trailer to the hitch ball, the levers were directly under the L brackets and I wasn't able to move them out to the side to get them on top of the L brackets. I didn't see this issue mentioned in the manual or video. What am I doing wrong?

When measuring the trailer to see if it's parallel to the ground, do both sides of the trailer have to be the same? Or just the front and back measurements? I can make set equal height front to back on one side of the trailer but the other side is off. Ground is somewhat flat but not sure how level of ground I need to be on in order to set the trailer parallel.

The Equal-i-zer Hitch works with great with the majority of towing vehicles and can be adjusted to fit on most raised vehicles. Having a lifted towing vehicle may require you need to purchase a bigger rise/drop shank in order to place the hitch ball at the correct height. To determine if you need a larger than standard drop shank size for your setup, you can use our shank size calculator at the following link. www.equalizerhitch.com/find-your-shank-size
Best Control system on the market period. I love mine and wouldn't ever use anything else!!
We're glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
Can the shank be installed the other way around? I have a steep driveway and if needed would like to try this, great video thank you for posting!
Hi there! Yes you can flip it to put your shank in the rise position! Hope that helps!

Will this hitch system work with lifted trucks?

So if its bought already installed then its already pre-torqued?
Some of our hitch models come with a pre-installed hitch ball. If this is the case, then yes, it will be pre-torqued to it's proper torque value!
If this works on friction, why should it be greased?
Greasing the hitch head helps extended your hitches life, as well as quiets the your hitch as well!
