Je suis plutôt les gars (et les filles?) de Château Gombert pour leurs signatures metal, toujours de qualité et diversifiées pour le meilleur. Il faut avouer qu'en dehors du metal le label fait également dans le très qualitatif. Merci au label et aux groupes.

I know I'm late to the party LOL 😅 I just wanted to say that I think this album is absolutely amazing! 🖤 I didn't know that Garmarna are still around so I was really surprised to see this video in my YT recommendation list. That's just bloody brilliant! Garmarna are veterans of the European folk music scene.

In the past 10 years, I was constantly looking out for their "Lussi Lilla" release. To those who remember: they already produced this song, and showed a little "making of", introducing and damn good bassline and music video snippets.
Certainly it has different feel to it.
I like the current version! At the same time I'd wish for the "old" version as a bonus track! This might go against the tone colour of this album...but I don't mind :)!

This band got me to begin learning Swedish. I started by repetition three years ago, beginning with Herr Mannelig, then Brun, then I learned Vanner Och Frander last month. Now, because of this band, I can now read the Swedish lyrics out loud at the full speed of these beautiful songs that I have never heard before! Thank you Garmarna, for being so amazingly beautiful that I simply had to learn the pronunciation of the language. I really appreciate it. It has changed my life. edit: My mother is Swedish, and my father German. I was raised to speak German, but never did push myself enough to learn Swedish as well.

Wow! This is just amazing, thank you! Garmarna is definitely one of our my top 5 folk bands. Your mixture of traditional and modern elements in music is truly unique, and, in my opnion, does total justice to the mood of ancient germanic lore.
