Robots are advancing at an astonishing pace, but legacy wireless communications technologies are not keeping up. This threatens to stunt innovation through unreliable networks. Congestion of these networks in challenging environments hinders the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of robotic systems. Off-grid, they aren’t a viable option at all.
