    What we need for Ukraine is a system that uses radio up to a point (when the machine locks on to the target), the operator fixes it, and then the drone takes over with its AI optical means and gets to the target.

    What happens when all regular known drone bands are jammed at the same time? There's no way to switch to another frequency because its being jammed also. Seems like the solution is to use a unknown frequency?

      How many 20 MHz bands are there? One would have to turn on a powerful jammer to jam them all. But then it would become an easy target for anti-radiation drones.

    • @Antonnn1111
      @Antonnn1111 11 дней назад

      @@eugenedsky3264 there’s only one… hence the name 20Mhz band.. did you really just ask this question? And yes the Russians have a vehicle mounted drone jamming system equipped with battery backup it’s strong enough to jam American airplanes out of the sky if you read the news articles. Just need high power, with enough amperage theoretically you can create a jammer that jams every single frequency in the spectrum

    • @eugenedsky3264
      @eugenedsky3264 11 дней назад

      @@Antonnn1111 The so called S band (frequencies from 2000 MHz to 4000 MHz) contains 100 (one hundred) 20 MHz bands. Not all of them can be used by a single radioelectronic chip in a tranceiver, but you get the idea... Не пиши чушь... Also you can use not only frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS), but time-hopping (THSS) too! I.e. you can make your RF pulses much shorter and give them more peak power with the same electrical power source (battery, generators, etc.). Thus you make such a link even harder to jam. Also don't forget about autonomous and semi-autonomous drones (guided artillery shells), which can bomb an enemy location with its coordinates given in a 3D map or in a local positioning system (LPS) based on ground hyperbolic radio-beacons synchronized with compact atomic clocks and corrected every 1-2 minutes by a test drone... Questions?

    I agree with this sentiment, beartooth at $1500 it really limits bandwidth and ability to push video. What we need is $1000 mesh rider set, hopefully we can get there someday as tech advances and atak comes to the masses with more than just points on a map capability. I just got a set of your mesh rider wearables but can’t find the antenna anywhere, I reached out on your site with no response on where to buy them, they are the 2.4ghz model and I don’t have the money to buy four goosenecks is they are super expensive, any decently performing alternatives or where can I buy your goosenecks if they aren’t too expensive?

    Does that DJI matrice also has a doodle labs radio integrated?

    • @doodlelabs
      @doodlelabs 8 месяцев назад

      Great q! It does not, rather: - DJI sends video feed down to GCS on the ground - GCS is connected to Wearable Mesh Rider Radio via Wi-fi hotspot backhaul - TAK UAS plug-in grabs and sends video as a broadcast across TAK, which can be viewed by everyone on the Mesh Rider network. Additionally, since we also backhauled the network into Starlink unit that was mounted on the response vehicle at the base of the foothills, that TAK broadcast could be seen by anyone logged into the TAK server anywhere in the world. If Corona *had* been operating a drone with an integrated Doodle Labs radio (there are many great options out there!), that video stream could be routed even more directly, and the drone itself could act as an aerial antenna and increase the reach and resiliency of the network for folks on the ground.
