This is the front end it should have had from launch, it looks great. So much so that I brought one! My urban grey HS Trophy (The luxury line equivalent in the UK) is at sea and due for delivery in 3 weeks. I can't wait.

Hi, when did you place the order and how long did the dealer say it would take? Also did you get the optional extra seats? Or standard black?

@@j.h-sr7em I ordered at the end of June. The dealer said 15-25 weeks, the biggest delay being the nearly 6 weeks at sea (With potential of delays due to weather and the other port drops along the way) from China to the UK. No I didn't get the optional red seats, because the red seats are "Leather Style seats" and are not actual leather, they are vinyl which look, feel, wear and smell worse than the standard black.
@@SentinelSays bang on about the seats. I see, thanks for letting me know. I spoke to MG and the salesperson said I could have a factory order due for Dec/Jan so 4-12 weeks max, I'm guessing they could either say it's been delayed or be telling the truth that there are some already built and waiting to come over?

I have had 2 Ford Kuga’s over the course of the last 7 years! I took delivery of my MG hs Trophy 2 weeks ago and it’s a surprisingly good SUV! The only niggle I have with it is that the rear view mirror is set to low in the windscreen for me! I’m 6ft 2in and I have found that when making left hand turns, the mirror can cut out some of your view of where you want to go and I end up leaning forward to get a full view of the direction of travel. But apart front that so far so good.

I love the facelift MG HS so much that I am awaiting a HS Trophy auto in Pearl black. Nice review

Hello, idk if i should choose this over a ford kuga. I'm interested the most in confort, having a good audio inside the car, good noise insulation, to be reliable, have good quality interiors, and have a good ground clearance
Well I've got one and it's a beautiful moter inside and out,moves like a rocket love it and I've been driving a Audi,Honda before that and Merc C class before that so don't knock it till you have driven it I shit you not

Just ordered the same car in the same colour. I bet if you DE-badge the car people would think it's a new Merc! Just have to wait 12 weeks now for delivery but hoping its a lot less.

Hello, I am 1.87m and I had plenty of room
Here in the UK we have a Motability Scheme which is a government funded scheme to get heavily discounted vehicles for disabled people. My daughter’s husband qualifies and they are on a waiting list for a KIA Sportage. The KIA is indefinitely delayed with the dealer, I’ve told her to go for one of these instead as you get more car for your money. She test drives one tomorrow.

We in UK don't get the glass electric roof , we also don't get the rear seat declining system, we also don't get( not on your car but have seen it on Croatia and Rumania ones a impressive looking duel colour interior , plus we in UK have to pay in about 500 € euro more than you guys or girls WITH LESS SPEC 😢😢 could it be that mg china factor in the cost of producing right hand drive ??
I have an hg trophy courtesy car right now the rear seats recline and are red and black dashboard is also red.
@@roxiepeters7533think the cost-optional red interior and i believe black headlining ( not for me) but sadly without roof glass makes it even darker inside. Better suited to a Alfa or Ferrari . Other countries get the interior in a very nice beige with black contrast inclusive in the price

Jel mjenjač još uvijek spor ili je i to sad na nivou i da li se karoserija ljulja kao brod? Zbog te dvije stvari nisam ga kupio
To je sigurno isto... a automatik nijedan test nije pohvalio, čak se preporuča ručni mjenjač (i radi potrošnje).
@@firguločito moram napisati engleski komentar da mi lik odgovori….jer da napise istinu, boji se da mu auto vise ne bi dali na probu… Toliko o autenticnosti testova…

Koji ti SUV bez zračnog ovjesa ima karoseriju da se ne ljulja?! Netko cijeni udobnost ispred držanja, ako želiš vozne osobine nećeš nikada kupiti SUV-a, vozio sam Porsche Cayenne Magnum 335 kW pa je u zavojima krš za jednu Škodu Octaviju 1.6 tdi, koja košta kao felge od Porschea.
@@mrki412 kakva je to udobnost kad se toliko ljuljas da ti ide na povraćanje? Moja supruga i ja smo imali isto iskustvo i vratili ga nakon 10km i 15-20min vožnje…. O tome pričam! A šalta ko stara Corsa poluautomatik koju sam vozil jedno vrijeme tak da ne znam di je dupla spojka na mjenjaču… I o tome pričam!

Looks to me very plastic inside..the wheels look too small for the car. The head up display is way too small.. i think MG have a long way to go if they want to be in the luxury bracket. Going to view this vehicle next week. If I'm wrong I'll cone back and comment
This car is easily the best price for a competitive market. £ for £ this car is extremely high spec
I thought tge same, however after looking at one in person, I made the purchase :)
