Thank you Billy and Dee for the enjoyable adventure with you. The captions really helped a lot to know what you were doing. It's a form of speaking to us. Have a blessed day 🙏❤️🙏
it's rainy and the leaves are falling - you know I would prefer the snow. Thanks for taking us along ---- your little doggies are so cute. Good to see you all. Blessings to you!
I miss living in my Anchorage house - in Virginia now no more wood stove - rare snow or any real freezes. No real mountains around . But great memories of God’s country - blessings to you and your family
Glad I found ur channel. We are a fam of four considering a move there from NNY this spring/summer. Looks like I'll need to grow my beard back, too. ;)
@@JosephTMeiroseIV “standby for a flood of cheechakos” wow, you say that because you know that a flood of people is exactly what true Alaskans DON’T want, so you say it to sound confrontational and edgy like it’s some sort of joke? We value a peaceful way of life and you are mocking that…you don’t belong here apparently and you’ve made that clear…your way of thinking is exactly what we don’t want in our state but it’s ok because you’ll be exposed soon enough….
@@JosephTMeiroseIV how arrogant of you…but then again that’s typical of a New Yorker and exactly why you clowns never last up here…you know damn well Alaskans don’t want more people up here, yet you decide to be “edgy” and mention a “flood of cheechakos”, so honestly, as a true Alaskan, I’ll say it again: please don’t move here…your way of thinking is fine for your area apparently, but it doesn’t fly up here….it’s ok though, you’ll be exposed soon enough..
This is a very pleasant video to watch. But…every time I see these types of videos (I also do the same thing of course!……). I wonder to myself “what am I going to do when I can’t do these things? So…this is where your preps come in…knowing you’ve got backups to your backups if you can’t afford or have to go out & what you need. I hate dipping into my backups….bc you’ll need them one day. So until “one day” doesn’t happen, I go out and get what I need too
You are 100% correct. We can only do these things now. There will come a time when we won't be able to. That is when our preps will be worth their weight in gold.
We haul our water, no municipal or well water so we don't plan on a washing machine or a dryer. Most of the time, we do laundry the old-fashioned way and air-dry the clothes.
Thanks for the time to explain it. It makes sense. I live in Kooskia, Idaho and we don't have garbage service, so we have to drive few miles to the dumpster..we got a well about 50 GPM. The water very hard on clothes and showers.. we looking into water soften machine. Forgot the names of it, have to add salt.. I'm still doing research on it.. keep up the great videos buddy

Glad you enjoyed it
Fire burning in our stove, fresh ham in the smoker, and starting some bread. Gotta love the homestead life
❤️❤️❤️
I lived in Fairbanks and Anchorage in the early 80s. Loved it as a kid. Chena River was my backyard.

@@ConqueringTheLastFrontier You said it so much better than me. Thank you! That's exactly what I meant
I have never seen a laundrette that big......that's impressive.
Some good Grayling fishing out by you. Was up in that neck of the woods for a few days in August. Stay warm you guys. ;)
U ever thought about installing washer and dryer at your place? Keep up the great videos!! Thanks

Look into the electrostatic filter.
@@willr1796 , that was an education. I see a lot of people going off grid. They should really do A LOT of research.

OMG, the roads are paved there? And you have round abouts?
Might have been an adventure in my 20s ….
I'm surprised your garbage dump is free. It costs us $10 for three 55 gallon barrels here.
Wonder if anyone serves Quail Casadeas ?
After 50 years, I wouldn't live anywhere else.
I did live in Juneau for 2 years which I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
👍❤️✝️
Does it still get to 5th-50 up there?
?????
I live in North Pole Alaska 😎✌️
Me too!
I lived there for 4 years, and it sucks.
it is not for everyone
