Megan Lovell has the cleanest slide style that I have ever heard. She makes very effective use of the fretless nature of the instrument without ever making it sound like the audio track for a horror movie starring Boris Karloff. I wish she had more time for making teaching materials. Still, right now these gals gotta go on tour!!

Wow, i almost fainted when i heard you play it unplugged. So beautiful and responsive. For a little guy it sounds better than my full size dobro. Amazing. I am looking at one on reverb now. Doesn't have the same pickups though.
The blend with the Fischman adds the most depth for sure. Love it!!! Got all my parts in for my bowling lane lap build. Super excited!! Gonna be a lot of wood chips flying!! I'll try to share a step-by-step process for this build but with my schedule it may take MONTHS. Thanks for sharing Megan!! Love that instrument!!
Did you ever watch Megan the RUclips live Eric Clapton crossroad concert from 2007 that has Tulsa Time with Sheryl Crow singing Eric Albert Lee and Vince Gill but what's amazing is Jerry Douglas playing a telecaster like it's a dobro. It's absolutely amazing to watch that particular performance
That could be great for recording. Mic it for acoustic tone, split the magnetic and piezo pickups to different amps or mixer channels and have the board operator ride the faders to move the tone around.

The Nationals were iconic for their Biscuit Bridge Cones . The Road o Phonic has a Spider Bridge . But the very thin body gives it a very different tone , so it's pretty unique sounding .

@@filianablanxart8305 Nationals also had the wonderful tri-cones with the T bridges. That with the brass bodies give a nice warm tone.
Yes , unfortunately I've test driven a 1934 and a 1936 . Great sound , but $4K is out of my price range .
