They seem very intelligent .. and friendly, relaxed, amusing, thoughtful, articulate. I know they are brilliant musicians, performers, song writers as well. There is hope for the world after all. Thank God for Larkin Poe.
My wife and I just saw them 6 times or more on the KTBA Blues Cruise. They are best live and are nicer in person than they seem on media, if that is possible. Their tone is outstanding and they set up their own equipment. That they seem to have so much fun on stage is a great part of their attraction. They met, signed stuff, spoke with and took pictures with everyone who wanted to see them and I believe they had the most fans on the ship.
Randy C I totally agree. I had a chance to see them back home in Atlanta a few years ago, and got to spend a few minutes with them at a meet and greet beforehand. Truly some of the nicest folks, and easily one of the best live shows I have ever seen. So tight musically. Megan truly is a great lap steel player, and Rebecca’s vocal range is unbelievable.
I love their talent, I love their sound, and I love their attitude. Sometimes, I call them, Snarky Poe, because they because they will let you know. In some ways, I hope they never change but then again, just when I think they just can not get any better... they do.
audiophile man I totally agree. Most artists who are outside of the Mainstream do tend to make tremendous improvements and experiment. Unlike the “chosen few” stars who are forced to maintain what made them famous.
I love the basic simplicity of there rigs. I have spent decades using nothing more than a preamp to saturate my amps input stages, a cry baby wah, and maybe a flanger. With my electric mandolin I plug straight into the PA. Rebecca Megan produce such great tone with such basic equipment it's a testament to their talent.
Keep on challenging yourselves ladies, ya’ll have unlimited potential. Skip James, Death Letter Blues, that song touches the inner soul of humanity. Ernie didn't drop the ball ... great interview ! Becky Bob throws the 'F' bomb and Megan Amanda oozes music & enchantment .... "They're real good lookin and they sure can play" ...
I wanna see a full length string theory video with the nameless ghouls from ghost and where it'd normally be interviewing them they'd just be sitting in silence while the camera pans and then have them playing
I've never heard such verbal musicians, with such a rich vocabulary and syntax. Another one I listen to uses fancy words, but without the same verbal grace.
I love them so much lol/smh BASICALLY the only people doing blues I give a shit about rn. Ida Mae's pretty solid... Gary Clark, Jr., I suppose... Some of Hozier's stuff... but I dunno... Too many guitar hero wannabes, not enough "junkyard poets" as Rebecca *brilliantly* puts it here. Deeply glad these women exist!

Ernie I loved this episode with Rebecca and Megan. I am a huge fan of their group Larkin Poe. Thanks so much!!
Their approach to music is so refreshing and perfect. I’ve listened to some of their stuff, but looks like I really need to dive in deeper.
I love their talent, I love their sound, and I love their attitude. Sometimes, I call them, Snarky Poe, because they because they will let you know. In some ways, I hope they never change but then again, just when I think they just can not get any better... they do.
They're in their prime. They will get better and better and better.

I have never seen that kind of playstyle, that's pretty cool
Good stuff.

Very nice, i hope the New Generation sings too!
Over 500 likes on this video and only 7 dislikes at this time in December 2019....holy...that's really good.
Seriously. How in the hell could you not like that? Like it? Nah........love that shit. The Midas sisters turning all things to gold.
Are the instrumental tracks the ladies are playing in the background available in some way? These tracks are as beautiful as them.
Megan giving me Chloe Sevigny vibes! Anyway, awesome video!
LuLz
Awesome! you guys should get Roger Lima from Less Than Jake!
Is there a good recording of Little Martha cover? In RUclips there is one with poor sound. Here it sounds better
These ladies are the future.
God, I hope not!

What is that shirt Rebecca is wearing?
Black Sabbath "The Grim Reaper tour" shirt I think. 😎
What is the name of the first song? That sounds like Where is my mind.
"Might as Well Be Me" by Larkin Poe. Check this version: ruclips.net/video/HSHCtWWcqPY/видео.html

"...and I'm okay with that; it's like a sun and the moon thing. But screw you." Sisters.
