I bet I speak for 99.9% of your viewers when I say this: Your a good man we can just tell by your demeanor. We all are behind you, whether you’re in good times or bad. You don’t have to always be perfect just be you and your channel takes care of itself. When times are rough just ask for prayer, God knows our heart and circumstances, you hurt we all hurt. It’s obvious you would be the first to pray and offer encouragement to any of your subscribers who need it. Thanks for putting yourself out there!! The fact that you are able to open up about depression is a huge deal. Mental health is a huge issue that many men are afraid to talk about. Praying for your wife’s family and yours. I’m just glad you’re getting back into the groove of things just remember to keep your mental health in mind and don’t burn yourself out. Keep the lines tight my dude!

Depression is such a strange thing that I myself struggle with. When it all seems confusing just turn to the good book and reach out to a brother in Christ. Second I will keep you and yours in my prayers. I am 62 and have been in your shoes. My mother passed away in 2012 Nov. a month before her birthday (Dec 24),my baby sis passed Jan 2013.so much more I could say,but I really pray that you know that GOD has a plan for you and yours so just keep him on your heart and only put your head down in prayer

Glad to see you back in the Matrix, The Holidays is the worst for me, I spent years in the Military alone at Christmas's in a different country and I had friends but its not home, That seems to come up every year this time of year. As a person that recently lost his mother, I empathize with everything you stated,...and I too have some "should of,...would of,...could of", etc. Continue to take one step after another, Continue to hold those close to you even closer,...and know that one of the greatest giftsp the Good Lord gave us is "time",...and the ability to decide how we spend our time. Time is something that once we give it,...there is no taking it back and with that said, I'll end with, although your heart may be or had been heavy, rest assured the love and strength of the Good Lord brings us "joy in the morning"! I lost my wife and best friend to Covid in 21. I was in a deep grief state for a year. Then it was a moderate grief. I was extremely depressed. I got back on my low T support and it woke me up and restored my confidence, grief will knock a person to an extreme low point. Lives bring us so much confidence.

Hey bro, thanks for sharing that part of your life. I found a lot of similarities in myself once you spoke on your situation and how you've dealt with it. We don't know each other but bro I'm so proud of your journey. I grew up watching Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, In-Fishermen you name it but I never saw a black face drive a boat on TV. You and several other brothers have filled that void and it's cool to know that you all are right here in the Metroplex.
Whenever you have a cloudy moment just remember that its always someone who has it worst than you. That's probably the reason you have over 103K subscribers. Because we can't do what you do, so we live through your adventures. I hope and pray you and your family fully heal and can be happy again. Thank you for sharing your story. I am happy to see that God gave you a spark to finish your story. Some chapters are hard to read my brother. I too battled depression and had to stop for a minute. I was trying to put out content and grow, and then I had to have open-heart surgery. After having that in NOV 2022, I lost my mother to a heart attack in her sleep in AUG 2023. It's been rough for sure. I just started back trying to make content myself, and trying to re-establish myself. God be with you and I both and lets just go slow and enjoy this life of fishing. You be safe out there my friend and I'll be watching. Let's go get these Crappie! 2024 is OURS!

That’s life Brutha, and I know very well on what you speak of. I also, delivered pizza on the side while being in the military. On this faithful day while on my route to deliver an order. I got a flat going to the peoples home. I end up calling the store to let them know while changing the tire. Once I got to the delivery spot I explained to the customer why I was late and they understood. I’m an introvert also that deals with depression, anxiety, along with PTSD. So, my hats off to you sir, continue the good fight and continue to strive for greatness. The death of a loved one is always hard especially when they’re that close. You and your family have my deepest condolences. Once again, I can relate and sympathize. We lost our son in 2020, he was our only one. He was 22 when he transitioned. Although, he’s gone in the physical form he is survived by our grandson. It is a very difficult battle, that we’re still dealing with til this day. Continue to be strong for one another through those tough times. Be blessed be loved

Brother I’ve struggled with depression most of my life. Long story short I go fishing which is my therapy I don’t have a boat but I love fishing for crappie. I was discharged from the Marine Corps in 1979 and a lot of my depression was due to my experiences in the service. God bless you let’s pray one for another.
I understand where you’re coming from. About 5 years ago my seasonal depression started getting longer and I had to find my way to come out of it faster. Fishing and being outdoors helps me , and watching your excitement and enthusiasm for crappy fishing helps me smile more. Thank you for being you and being real!
