    While you got it torn down that far. check the condition of pads & rotors. Also squirt some brake cleaner on the e brake shoe and inside of rotor take a scotch Brite pad to the surface .

    Do you spin the wheel the same direction on the passenger side?

    • @JKJeep
      @JKJeep  8 дней назад

      Yes, same direction on the other side to adjust the star wheel for the brakes. Thanks for watching!

    You mentioned that you could adjust from the back without removing the tire, however it looked like the caliper bracket covered the adjustment window. What does it look like with the tire (and caliper) on?

      The adjuster is a little more difficult to get to with everything on, it’s also easier to adjust with a brake spoon if you leave everything on. You will still have to lift the back of the vehicle and place on jack stands. The rubber service plug is located between the brake caliper bracket and the axle. Once removed the star wheel can be adjusted, again this part is easier with a brake spoon. Hope this helps

    12:10... you're NOT on the "Driver's Side." Unless you're in England.

      Thank you for watching! If you go to the 3 minute mark it’s a better shot of the drivers side, I only filmed the driver side adjustment. I hope something in the video was helpful, I try to show more in depth things that I feel other videos skip over that is good information. Thank you again for watching!

      Where'd you get the rubber top pads for your jack-stands?
      Are they an "Add-on" or purchased with? Have a brand name?
      I think I have the same Grey stands, but would love to not scratch my paint.
      Thanks.

      @@w.c.6678 I got those at Harbor Freight, they sell them in packs of 2 for $10. Great add on for the stands for sure.
