I think I have eye allergy that’s is bad. I got a stye/eyelid infection in right eye, was on antibiotics for two weeks, it cleared and then literally 2 days later I woke up with severe dry eyes, both my right one dryer than them the left one, both red, irritated and burning, went to eye doctor again she said no infection they were just irritated and perhaps was dry eye (without actually checking me for dry eyes) told me to use systane eye gel at night and artificial eye drops, gel the gel didn’t work, made my eyes red and irritated and they burn the entire day after I used it that one night. I’ve been dealing with dry, irritated eyes since mid August, I do have seasonal allergies (I even stopped taking antihistamines, to avoid “drying” my eyes out more). I found a humidifier at night, and systane gel drops before bed have helped the dryness and redness but still not gone, my eyes do itch here and there through the day mainly on the inner and outer corners of my eye, the past two days I’ve seen a tiny bit of a clear mucus discharge from the lacrimal area very little in the morning, my eyes still feel warm and burning at times, I see blood vessels in my eyeballs that I didn’t have before, I use similisan eye drops as they are natural and the systane ones for the night. I hate to be given tons of samples for dry eye without actually being examined to confirm is dry eye (I have not use any as basically, my doctor only looked at my eyes for like a minute literally and said dry eyes, take this and come back at end of the month, if nothing resolve, I’ll send you to a dry eye specialist!) I’ve mentioned to her of my allergies and she cut me off right away saying “it’s not allergies” then told me I was sleeping with my eyelids open, which I’ve never had any of this problems in my life ever, no dry eyes, no open eyelids etc. then told me I was not exercising enough. I just need some help!. Here where I live I cannot go to see an ophthalmologist until almost end of moth (I’ve been dealing with an optometrist this whole time). I’m desperate here, over all my eyes have always been very healthy, other than needing corrective lenses , I’ve never dealt with anything like this, and I don’t feel dry eys literally happen overnight in which you’re fine one day and wake up and boom you have dry eyes to the max. I feel I’m just being given medication to treat and issue that us not been even diagnosed correctly and my allergy issue have not even been taken into consideration.
@@marbravo7001 I'm so sorry you are experiencing so many issues with your eyes and eyelids. I highly recommend seeking out another opinion if you feel like you are still struggling. My only advice that I can offer without seeing your eyes in person is to make sure whatever you are putting in your eyes is preservative-free. I hope you get some relief soon!
Doctor I am 15 years old. I have allergy in my left eye. 2 days ago I went to an eye specialist to check up it . Doctor checked my eye and prescribed me 2 eye drops for use till 1.5 months. But when I read the snallen chart I read it 20/20 with my right eye but can't read 20/20 with my left eye, doctor told it is caused by eye allergy, he didn't prescribed me any glass and also told I have no eye power. I had allergen symptoms like red eyes, itching, watery eyes, swollen eyes, blurry vision etc.... But now after 2 days all symptoms have been almost gone . But still I have swollen eyes and blurry vision on my left eyes . Plz tell me is it for allergy and if I complete the medicine course will this swollen and blurry ness go??? Plz tell.....
I am allergic to dog...any time I tried to play with dog...I noticed itchy eyes, sneezing and shortage of breath..and my eyes are puffy now please what can i do?

Go to the ENT and check for seasonal allergies. No one else seems to mention this

I woke up and my right eye has been squinted and won’t fully open up the same as my left one
