Slower quarter mile then a 10r80 GT for 20k more ? Gt500 -yes Gt350 - NO unless you track it and are a corner carver and I bet 75% of those who buy it aren’t.
I love my Gen 3 Coyote in my 2019 GT. I drove from Fremont CA to Ripley TN in it and got 27.8 mpg from it, (Ford says it will get 25mpg highway) and it gets its best fuel economy at over 80mph. And that was with a fully loaded car , stock wheels and 2 bicycles on a tow hitch mounted bike carrier.
The lower displacement engines take weight out of the front end and that helps the S550 get it's big fat self around corners. My last mustang was a '66. My '18 GT whipple is an amazing car for the $$$ that I can work on. I love it.
@@senorpepper3405 you are correct. The interiors are relatively lite. The OEM components are stupid heavy. From suspension, 2 part driveshaft, brakes, tires and wheels. Crazy heavy. The Fox bodies will dominate the newer cars until the last wheel rusts off them.
The v6 mustang is the sportsman s550 where you can focus on the chassis and the suspension balance. And you can punch out around without fear of excessive speeding due to the lack of power compared to the gt and up engine. I like the simplicity of it vs the ecoboost.
I have a manual 6 speed 2017 ecoboost its great, if i had a choice an money no object i wud chose the new gt mach 1 in 6 speed manual it looks awesome and not to overkill for uk roads 👍👍👌
Doing all the parts listed on the Steeda Steve McQueen edition Bullitt to my 19 Gen 3 I have to say it’s a totally different car. So responsive and so much fun. #speedmatters
Wish i would of gotten one besides a damn ecoboost. I changes intercooler then was getting no boost. Today ford says needs new turbo 🤦♂️🤦♂️ dont beleive it
We chose to stick with the Ford-produced engines for the S550. The Shelby Super Snake is produced by Shelby American, rather than Ford or Ford Performance. Hope this helps! -Chris
@@tomemacyt.1524 In a straight line against gt, sure. And if you get crazy with the suspension probably in corners too. And the ecoboost has merit, don't wanna sound like I'm dumping on 4 cylinders, I have one in me Celica gts, but the coyote has so much more potential and the chassis is kinda designed for a v8.
Lmfao, I’ve met GT owners who have straight up admit that a 5.0 non boosted isn’t shit. You aren’t going to see much power out of it unless you run e85 and boost it. Whats to hate about a 4 cylinder turbo? Is it cause you don’t have the displacement to compensate in something your lacking lol?
@@its_juhjorge9733 You can make around 450hp without getting into motor with a 5.0 coyote pretty easily even with the gen 1's. With cams and a tune you can make over 500hp. With boost 750 is pushing the stock block and bottom end but guys are doing it. With sleeves rods and pistons they've make over 1500hp from these engines with the stock crank. 1500 appears to be about the safe limit for the OE crank. Not bad for a sleeved oem aluminum block. And if thats not enough they're coming out with an iron block for the coyote and at that point I'm not sure what it will take to break one.
I have to say, the GT350 is an act of balance perfection that few cars can touch at any price.

3.7 V6 is my favorite.

Impressive, right?! -Chris
All 18 - current Ecoboost have 350 ft lb torque rating. The HPP Ecoboost has a slight Horsepower advantage over the entry level Ecoboost.
Big facts

i wish ford could of found a way to get the ecoboost down closer to 3000 lbs and the gt to 3200. they are fatties

does it take regular or premium?
@@senorpepper3405 87. It uses the low stuff. You cna get a tune for 91 or 93 and e85
@@ZackNakazora1 EcoBoost takes 93 if you want all 310 hp. so there's another reason for a v6.
You mean the poor man’s GT..,
I’ve got a 2018 GT & I’ve loved it since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago. I raced my friends 18 GT350 & pulled on him 😎
Agreed .. 2020 10R80 pull on my buddys GT350 all day.. gapped 😂
I love my 2017 Grabber blue supercharged 5.0 it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on

I have a GEN 2 5.0 But the Ford performance pack 2 brings the numbers up to Gen 3 specs
Well I love my 5.2 voodoo that's twin turbo. So I've go to go with that.
Ima go with gt350. Super special ride

Hi steeda love forever from puerto rico my rip husband have mustang 1964.thank🎀🎀🎀🎀
I'd like to see the gt350 w a 10 speed or the 7 speed dual clutch
What about the super snake ??
Wish i would of gotten one besides a damn ecoboost. I changes intercooler then was getting no boost. Today ford says needs new turbo 🤦♂️🤦♂️ dont beleive it
That’s why I traded my Ecoboost in for a 5.0 after 2 years
3.7 cyclones are beast
The GT500 makes better gas then my 2010 mustang
I love my gen 3 coyote

When a gt500 gets better gas mileage than you
Its hilarious how they have to talk good about the 4 banger “It CouLd BeAt A MoDeD Gt WiTh GoOd DrIvIng”
Any 4 cylinder can beat a v8 car if the v8 driver is bad enough, but that's not saying much if your v8 drivers don't know what the hell they're doing.
177SCmaro I mean a 4 cylinder integra type r with a turbo and 700 hp could shrug off a mustang gt but a 4 cylinder in a MUSTANG? That’s whack.

Blah blah Ecoboost sorry Steeda ecoboost .. 4 cylinder - that ain’t a real mustang.
