Dumps are the best. Old school. Uses the body of car to disperse the sound, that’s why no mufflers but tips out back sounds raspy and higher pitched...while the dumps sound waves hit the ground and go outward and up and down under the car. Deep tone

Here in Calif, we have AB 1824 (Google or You Tube) that limits exhaust to 95db. And they check for cats every two years at the smog inspection. You are lucky to live in NJ.

Dumps remind me of corrosion and rust on my old 91 GT rear chassis area because the gasses getting trapped in the bumper area. Realistically it would take YEARS for that to happen to the Mamba. Lol

I drove my built and cammed 02 lightning with bassani full longtube 3 inch exhaust with out cats and never got pulled over once. I live in San Diego and this was only a few years ago.

Speaking of dumps. You should dump the C8 brother!! Keep it a Stang channel and with all the hype you’ll get plenty of subs. In my humble opinion the C8 content is over played and there are too many channels with the “C8 coming”! Save your money!!!

@@sstevocamaro gm content is a little weaker honestly. These channels are blowing up with Mustang content. Look at how Itsjusta6 channel blew up after he bought his Mustang. The c8 will quickly grow old to many. All I say is the c8 better perform and be as big as the height it's advertised. Or it will get ugly for gm.

My older gt is dumped and it got deeper more bass in the sound from the ground and slightly raspier but with the off-road h sounds mean I’ve liked the sound better than with tailpipes , some people tell me it sounds like a truck but I think it sounds good for a truck or a mustang / muscle car tone

Hey brother, FYI the audio issues is when your car turns on and connects to your bluetooth. When recording videos on your phone just turn the bluetooth off and you won’t have any issues! 🤘🏻

I did this to my Ford back in the late 70's It was soooo obnoxious inside the car. ( you can't have a conversion ) Between kicking up all the dust and noise It got changed back in 4 weeks..

did custom true duals on my ls1 trans am no x or y pipe 2.5inch from the headers back to the differential with 2 flowmaster super 10s with turn downs sounds nuts i love the dumped sound has that old school tone but with the newer engine sound if that makes sense and i like also they added v bolt flanges so you technically could swap back if needed i wish i would have went with the new modern cut out/turndown because then you can have the best of both worlds loud and somewhat quieter.

Only issue I had was the cutouts in the rear bumper look ugly with no tailpipes under there . I feel like my increase in volume going tailpipes to dumped was almost as good as going catless it’s a big difference on my old gt .

Christopher Hall if you want it to be crazy loud and don’t mind the drone go with a catless downpipe and dump it after the downpipe. this means there is nothing after the dp. this is what i have currently and i either get noise complaints or great compliments.

for drag racing weight in the back would aid with traction. how about a battery relocation mod next.
This car shouldn't have any traction problems at all with a proper radial. Battery reolaction adds a lot of weight with the 0 guage wire running from the front of the car to the rear. In no prep events we just add cases of water or sand bags. But we're talking on cars over 900whp not this 500whp

I thought the cold starts were louder with the old exhaust I got pretty good speakers I'm listening with I never thought dumps sounded better than pipes to the bumper I like the crackle and pop when they exit at the bumper but that's just an old guy's opinion
