tbh, most house and techno have long intros and outros for frendly dj mixing . its not that much tonality going on and as soon as u kill the bass for a track playin the outro and turn on the bass for the next track playing the intro, it will sound good regardless if the track is in key or not. because the only melodic element going on is really the bass.

Can also be boring as fuck though, 😒 which is when mixing in key, and after a chorus or phrase but before the outro!

I'm with you, but I guess it would be really useful for people doing pop or other genres of music that are more challenging to mix.

Why when I analyze and song it says for example 8A but when I analyze only the vocal it says 1A for example? Why is this happening and what can I do?? And how could you do that Rekordbox analize the key of the tracks by using the analysis of Mix in key (because rekordbox sometines is wrong so I want that in Rekordbox appear the analysis of Mix in key only)??

Why MIK ignores Dorian, Lydian, Mixolydian?

You don't have to tell me why to Mix in Key, I have done it for more ten years. And yes, before that I have listened carefully if tunes match.

It's called mix in key and yet the "keys" are 2A, 3B,4F ... WTF????? THOSE AREN'T KEYS!!!!!! piece of GARBAGE

That’s the MIK notation instead of the actual key names for easier mixing between keys in the circle of fifths - it’s an overlay. It’s not garbage atall, you just don’t understand it.
