  • Understanding the anatomy of your brain behind addictions can help you break free from it. I've used this exact method and it's worked for me as well as people I've recommended it to. I hope you gain value from it.

The porn addiction is possibly the most prolific addiction there is. Especially here in the west where it’s so readily available. I was 14 having my brain rotted by porn. It takes a lot to get past but eventually you do it.

Agreed, it’s ridiculous how available and normalized it is within society these days. I remember during middle school if you didn’t watch porn you were the weird kid in class…

As someone who quit weed and is still struggling with porn addiction I related to so much of what you had to talk about an it is 100% accurate. Think this is what I needed to hear and I hope you grow so you can get your words out to more people.

Great video, man. Now I'm free from addictions but if I would have seen THIS video half year ago it would change my life earlier. Thanks for your work💪

I admire your thought process. It sucks that I don't really meet anyone else around my age who's as wise as you are man. Desperately needed this, forever grateful that I found your video.

Interesting video, thanks. Addictions seem common today. So many dopamine traps. Best wishes.

Awesome video brother. What you said about not identifying as an addicted is really powerfull that not only encourages the brain to stop thinking about the addiction but also remembers yourself about your goal. However idle hands are devil's workshop so you have to replace the bad action for something better, as an example when I think about going back to a bad habbit I always start to read so the thought goes away. Another important lesson is that whatever the addiction is, brings you pleasure and pleasure always ends, so is it really worth it?

Good energy, good vibes. I personally believe you shouldn't misrepresent scientific findings to sound more credible though. This process you describe to quit addicitions definitely works and I salute you for taking the time to spread it. I know I am grateful you did. That's why it's even more important not to lose credibility by misciting science. (Electromagnetic fields being the reason we dont 'vibe' with people is in no way proven science. You can cite so much other evidence to support your good message. Sure you're doing a good thing. But don't end up spreading misinformation. Learn from people like Hamza. This video reminded me a lot of his old videos. Candid, genuine, actionable advice. No bullshit. Now he cares about the money, the metrics and the viewer retention more than he did about actually helping people. You have great potential and I see you succeed in this field. That is why I took the time out type this out. You can be great. That isn't measured in clicks or money though. Godspeed

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. You’re right I could’ve done more research on the electromagnetic field stuff but to my knowledge this is how I had deduced it based off some quantum experiments. Though a lot of findings in the quantum physics world are not concrete and contradict each other so I shouldn’t have mentioned that. Do you happen to know about this topic I’d love to chat about it and learn.

@@sevthrive The background noise or wind didn't interfere that much with your voice, it did provide a nice scenery. I wonder how it'll look at night though. In the morning or evening time, it'll be perfect

Great video man. If youre open to constructive criticism: i would drop the "electromagnetic field" talk because that does not relate to behavior of people, electromagnetic fields are a completely different thing that is unrelated to your video and makes you sound like you dont know what youre talking about and it stains all the good things youre teaching. I would just say we are by nature a social specie that adapts to its surroundings and picks up the behaviors of your close relationships, in this case, friends. Simple as that.

So I also have a best friend who always has weed. He's less inclined to quit because it doesn't seem to be getting in the way of his life. He has a great job, and he and his wife have their own home, 2 cars, and they recently had a baby.
However, he does not pressure me at all. There was a time when I wasn't smoking at all and would still hang with and not partake. I really don't think it was him who got me back into it; it was just me.
Would you say hanging with him is still a problem? Especially if we only hang once in a while now, since he and his wife are busy with an infant?

    • @sevthrive
      @sevthrive  Месяц назад +1

No, it doesn’t seem that hanging out with him is a problem considering he does not pressure you. However, if you’re trying to stop, let him know when you’re around him not to smoke or have the weed out because it could be trigger to your brain when you see or smell it.

Really enjoyed the video man. Are you familiar with the works of Neville Goddard? His book Feeling Is The Secret changed my life. The concepts it talks about are found everywhere, it's just one path to them. Manifestation most call it. Anyways, fantastic stuff!
I gotta know, where do you live? It's gorgeous.

Gotcha. Its only like 12 pages which is why I like it. He basically says "if this needed to be longer it would be" which really caught my attention.
Socal is so beautiful, I feel priced out of San Diego but rural socal lookin nice!
