My theater experience was mostly tame, but when the loser Dad said "stop jabbering and do as I say, a very masculine sounding man shouted "THIS IS WHY YOUR WIFE DIDN'T LOVE YOU!" and we all bursted out with laughter, and there was an applause when he got the heart attack at the end that I can only assume he instigated 😂
When I was in theaters watching this, we got to Defying Gravity and the whol energy in the room changed real quick. Theae girls in the row in front of me starting going "yes ma'am" "mhm" every time she dropped a lyric and I could not stop laughing. It was such a powerful experience, you could feel the tension in the room rising
Fun Fact: The two performers in One Short Day is Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, the original Glinda and Elphaba from the Broadway musical with the same name.
The dance sequence was a pivotal moment for them both. Elphaba never knew how to dance……(nor did her actress in the take)…..but Gahlinda(and Ariana) tried to show and taught her how. And was one of the first people to assure her that she’ll be okay. She..is okay. “One kind act for someone can spark up in another.”
Oh my goodness, I’ve already bought it on prime! You guys have no freaking idea how good this looks in 4K HD!! it is so much better than what you saw in the theaters, the colors the wardrobe, the sets the clarity of it all is truly amazing.. the yellow brick Road just pops out the land of Oz looks incredible! It’s pricey, @ 30 bucks but for something you can watch over and over again it’s worth it.
I bought it too the moment I saw it was available, price be damned. lol I saw it in 3D the only time I was able to make it to the theater and my god it was incredible. I can't wait to watch this on the big-ass TV in my living room! 😄
@ oh cool I never saw it in 3-D but I’m watching it on my big ass TV right now hooked up to my surround sound. They’re starting to sing gravity right now. Holy crap. You can see and hear the details so much better The outfits the set design. It’s just amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything look better and I have seen a lot of movies in my day
I think you have to have had a prior attachment to the stage musical to truly understand how impactful a lot of the scenes were including the Ozdust duet which was executed very well and was not weird at all. I really don't mean to judge cause it's understandable to go into a movie about a story you never heard of and not understand the context. I hope maybe you can look into checking out the stage musical or read the book the musical is based off of. If not, that's cool too. I just personally might like to suggest learning more about the Wicked world so you have a better understanding so you're less confused and you might see things differently and understand them more.
Lots did go over my head so it will be an enjoyable rewatch but felt sudden first time watching it, prefer further build up to believe they are such good friends if that makes any sense

Will this be on ur patreon? Will it be a full/unedited version? Kind of surprised that you have released an edited version on youtube before an unedited version is available on you patreon...
This film is definitely ozmazing and deserves all the Ozcars! I will never forget my first experience of seeing the musical and seeing all the beautiful sets and the costume designs, as well as the amazing talented cast. I really connected with Elphaba, so I was so hyped to see this iconic story come to the screen! Ironically the first musical I ever performed was the Wizard of Oz where I played Professor Marvel and the Wizard. And I even got the chance to perform the show again and share the stage with my nephew. I highly recommend you rewatch the original 1939 film and possibly the stage musical. I can’t wait to see the conclusion in Wicked: For Good. 🪄🫧💖🖤💚✨🧹

I love this
That’s beautiful haha
That's great 😂😂😂
Awesome
"C'mmon Elphaba, you are going to let them pick on you? They are ginger"
help. 😭🤣🤣🤣
Most British statement ever to assume someone should be upset about having red hair!
Crazy to make it all the way to defying gravity and still calling her "Green Lady"
😬 I kept getting there names mixed up my bad
Well it appears the artichoke is steamed
I've been waiting for the movie reactions now that it's on digital! Very enjoyable to watch! 😁
Yep. Same.
Same!!!

“Okay we like this teacher!” Oh boy HAHAHAHA
Wicked Part 1 was my highest anticipated movie of 2024 and it did not disappoint. Big fan of the movie. Can’t wait for Part 2
Same! Saw it 5 times!

@@zoephotoart and she help make them more in rhythm.
@@zoephotoart there can be more then one intention.
Like this story, it’s all about perception and perspective.

Nope, no attachment to the play parts I did see and hear I wasn't interested in, and honestly don't like Wizard of Oz, but I do love this movie.
No, you didn't.
Source: I had no prior attachment to the stage show. Never seen it!
I had the same jaw drop reaction to Defying Gravity the first time I watched it😂😂😂 Love this reaction! Can’t wait for part 2!
You're a little slow on the uptake, my friend. I don't think you got the emotional impact of the Ozdust ballroom scene.
Those tears from Cynthia were real.
And Ariana assured her that she’ll be okay.
He did say he's an idiot in the video title lol
@@vickylikesthis I know.

@@WillTalksMovies uhuh. anyway.
At 16:22 i literally couldn't help but yell out "YUP!!"
Then part of me wanted them to go do karate in the garage
The one dance sequence is not just one dance sequence. Is acceptance. Anyway, maybe they should just drag to 20 episodes to build their friendship eh?

Watched four times in a row and it just gets better.
They sang live throughout the filming which is amazing!! There are lots of behind the scenes videos on yt.
I think Glinda wanted to call her "Elphie" because her name is Elphaba.
This was my first time watching anhting about wicked or the wiozard of oz and wow. I cry and such an incredible experience. I ts justy too good.
I can’t wait for Wicked For Good this year.
Fun Fact Ari and Cynthia sing live in the movie

Dude, watch the Wizard of Oz...then you may get the inside jokes😂😂🎉🎉🎉
I thought there would be some commentary at the end, though.
I enjoy The First Wicked movie 2024 and I am super excited to see Wicked For Good 2025
The lion they rescued is the cowardly lion from the wizard of oz.
10:41 - 10:47 Me: L. Frank Baum.
Happy new year
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your reactions and comments. However, I'm shocked at how unnecessarily rude your comment section seems to be.
Thanks man, seems a lot of people are passionate about what they love
Thank you, Will! 🌈 I think you're gonna love PART II, later this year.
The wizard of oz The wiz wicked
2:35 LMAO
America is not the world humans 😢
*I don't like your movie reactions.. It's just not serious and you don't pay full attention while watching the movie 🎥*
Then why are you here?
I mean I thought I made it obvious by the title ngl
Then don’t watch them TF
