man first season of SAO aincrad arc is the best of all season. Its really give mmorpg feels. other season is good but its just feel like typical isekai with harem. i hv a high hope for Progressive😍

Man this show will always be nostalgic to me and a favorite of mine. This was the very show that got me into anime. This show encompassed everything I liked as an edgy teen. Fulldive VR and being trapped in a virtual world where death was a reality was so entrancing to me. Fast forward many many years and I still rewatch this show as an adult. The premise of SAO is one-of-a-kind. Since then, I've seen a plethora of different anime and I still think SAO has the best first episode of any anime ever imo. It will always hold a special spot in my heart Also fun fact since I like to think about the timeline of SAO, June 26th which was 11 days ago, Kirito and Lisbeth acquired the Crystallite Ingot from the dragon lair which was used to forge Kirito's Dark Repulser. I just think its neat how the current day aligns with the timeline of the anime lol

Six years ago I watched this anime... And ending still hits me with nostalgia.
