I didn't really play with LightWorks much after a couple of edits and a few very simple vids but I remember downloading it after viewing it was one of the best vid editors around... don't really know how it stands against other software atm so can't really reply with something useful heh
Well i would say that for some people this video was neccessary but i have already worked with lightworks over 2 week and i was hoping that you will show me something totally new and now i realised that i was capable of doing subtitles all the time.. So thank you... :)
Good tutorial, but it would be more 'professional' if Lightworks just added the ability to input .SRT files or .ASS files...... the fact that this is not an option is pathetic, especially for a software that's heralded as the best and most powerful free video ediitng software. I might as well learn how to write a plugin for it.

I'm very new to Lightworks, so correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it better to use in/out markers without cutting the clip like you do?
