I kinda view Ayato in the same light as Yoimiya, he may not have a ceiling as high as other chars, but his flexibility and his ability to have long off field presence in such a large AOE makes him so valuable for so many teams and comps that want that kind of support, especially more so now that we have dendro with bloom reactions.
true, as an ayato main i agree he is so fun because his flexibility. i love trying all the different team comps and reactions 🧎♂️but then again i might be biased because i believe hydro reactions are the best reactions. which is why i can't wait for the hydro archon 🗿
Agreed, I got him by accident while greeding for Yun Jin constellations. But now I can't even remember the last time he wasn't on one of my abyss teams. Initially he was my hydro for freeze because I hadn't pulled Kokomi yet, and then at some point I realized DAMN I actually built him really well so I ran him as main DPS for well. Then dendro came around and now he's my on field with Nahida and Kuki in hyperbloom, and it's sooo good.
As someone who has most of the cast I'd say that our current opinion on characters is not really important, instead it's crucial to consider that characters lifetime on your account. For example I dont us eula much right now bur I remember being literally OBSESSED with her ultimate, I'd just run around yashiori island murder everything I could with her ultimate. It's a fond memory of mine which always prompts me to say that I, in no way regret pulling her (even if she cost me much more than the rest of units).
Yeah, my Eula has been on the back burner lately, but my Yunjin is now enough to be worth the slot to see how much larger that I can make Eula's ult slap harder :3

I 1000% regret not pushing harder on Nahida summons. There was an event right after her banner ended where you could use her and I fell in love. Just too late. My other regrets are not pulling for Yelan, Kazuha, and Ayaka. Also I regret somehow not having a god damned Mona after like a year and a half of playing.
i only went for c0 nahida and i kind of regret that, i use her basically every day and have her in almostt every team comp that has elemental reactions. though i typically try to go for 1 copy of every 5* to have everyone, i'm going to go for at least c1 nahida next time she has a re-run. On that note i also regret not pulling for nilou, but that's due to saving for nahida. And i stil don't have yae miko. every time she runs i'm still saving for a different upcoming character.
That Mona bit cut deep through my soul. I finally have her but I got her on Nahida's banner and i'm a day 1 player. It took more than 2 years for her to show up T_T
I know how it feels not to have mona. Me and my friend started playing genshin from day 1 and until now he doesnt have his Mona still, while I just got my Mona while losing on Ittos first banner. Before I really want to try her, but now that I fully built her she's only being used for damage per screenshot lol
For me a regret is trying to get Mistsplitter after I got Ayaka on the ling banner, I spent about 20 pulls there being completely f2p. Didn't get Yelan. Lost Kazuha's C1 to Mona's C1 But at leat that gave me a stroke of luck and after 3.0 I got Kokomi (used the guarantee, 77 pity) Venti (finally, third time's the charm and I won the 50/50, 77 pity) Cyno (super early, went mainly for Candace and Kuki, but got him at 9 pity, no regrets, he's actually god now) Jean (lost at 78 pity, went for Nahida) Nahida (early, at 18 pity) Diluc (at 80 pity, well, a guaranteed Alhaitham is nice) Elegy for the end and Xiphos' Moonlight (Venti and Kazuha are happy now) And 4 5*s from the standard banner: Amos' bow (77), Keqing's C3 (mehhh, the only actual loss), an early Skyward Spine (Xiangling is happy) and an early Diluc. And for someone who didn't really get early 5*s from 1.4 to 2.8, this is actually a really lucky stroke haha
@@anchor8723 its only 1-2 seconds added, if you are paying attention to how much time you are in melee stance its not that much of a problem, but if you mistime it then it can mess up your skill rotations due to the extra seconds
@@turothescrub6830 i think they meant that not swapping to melee before switching adds 1-2 seconds. There's actually a workaround to his cooldown problems in international, which is to use his burst before his E and then swapping him off when the burst cooldown counter goes to 6 sec (this helps time his optimal 9 sec uptime, since his burst has a 15 sec cooldown).
@@sombraelerizo As someone that have Ayaka and Kokomi, take really care. Ayaka is actually the only character that i regret to pull. Don't get me wrong, she's really good. But when pulling for cryo characters it's basically Freeze. Unfortunately take me a lot of time to find my own gameplay playstyle, but Ayaka is good (Mine is a little shit against bosses but it's probably team composition). And for Kokomi, well, she's being in my team since I pulled for her, i like all my team with full HP lol (Kokomi is great, i mean, she works with every single element on this game)
About the same for me, but I have 1 regret for not summoning, which is nilou. Granted that nilou came before nahida, so different value of judgement used during nilou banner.
You don't need to switch to ranged mode Childe before you swap to another character, it switches into the ranged mode automatically when you swap. Only if some weapon and/or artifact set take effect upon skill use, it might be important whether you switch manually or not; otherwise it really doesn't matter; not doing it is faster so that's what I normally do.

I originally had the same feelings about cyno until I tried him in a quickbloom team and it just feels right and much better than aggravate. It also makes great use of his EM based passive and kit, sure he's not the best but I feel like people are judging him in the wrong team comp
in the cyno mains reddit, most have changed to quickbloom so i do think it's his best, but everyone thought he was aggravate in the beginning. i also play him quickbloom it's so fun hitting e and see all the blooms explode during his burst.
@@penpen1089 Why can't you have both? I run Cyno and Kuki. A DPS that provides damage and can trigger hyperblooms and an electro healer+hyperbloom trigger is a busted comp. You don't have to run one against the other.
Legit I pulled for Cyno but I hate playing him so much. He's stuck at lv60 and I haven't played him since he came out Edit: he's lv80 and I still don't like to play him :')
Try putting him in a hyperbloom and Qucken/aggravate comp. He shines a lot more in that type of team compared to just a standard aggravate/quicken comp And will outperform Keqing because of his EM scaling
It's not that he needs a buff it's that when dendro was added keqing immediately power crept him it's lowkey sad when the toxic part of this community shit talks him

Keqing is a character I absolutely hate playing, amd I have her at C3 with 8/8/8 talents, C0 Cyno is definitely more fun and feels much better. Waiting for Alhaitham since I'm a simp but him being (leaks spoilers ahead) . . . . . . . . very similar to Keqing in playstyle honestly makes me sad. However, from what I've seen it also looks like he's still less clunky to play, so, hoping I end up liking him more, a huge part of me disliking Keqing comes from her personality
I feel a better comp for Cyno is most def hyperbloom/quickbloom, coming from someone who has no Nahida, Yelan or any premium units for this comp it absolutely shreds things with just Cyno, Kuki(full EM Build), DMC & xingqui, I never feel his burst lasts too long and it just feels so much stronger overall compared to aggravate with him.
I used to have the same feelings about Ayato, but I was also running vape compositions with him, and the moment I switched to electro charged Ayato comps he became a lot more fun. I recommend Fischl and/or Yae with him (might also make Yae more fun too! I don't have her so I can't say for sure) and see if your opinion changes :)
i usually use ayato, Beidou, Fischl, Bennett/Kuki for electrocharge. and yes he is alot fun in electrocharge team. I recommend beidou esp if u have her at c6.
sameeee I pulled for Thundering Pulse on two seperate banners. (2.8 and 3.2) On the 2.8 Banner. I got Summit Shaper and Lost Prayer. On The 3.2 Banner. I got Thousand Floating Dreams. The 3.2 banner was a 50 50 AND IT STILL HURTS ME TO THIS DAY I HAVE 4 CATALYSTS WITH 0 CATALYST USERS THAT BENEFIT FROM THEM.
Take my extra I got - both from standard. Though I’m using them both - for Ganyu and Tighnari. Still. Wish I would’ve gotten WGS or Skyward Blade. *sigh*
For Cyno, you should try Quickbloom. Pure Aggravate is just not the team for him. Quickbloom not only doubles his damage, but it also makes him more fun
Hu Tao has to be the character I regretted summoning for considering I really wanted her after seeing all the high damage she could do but ended up never using her because of her playstyle.
@@emral3297If Rosaria was anywhere near the physical version of Shenhe, Faruzan, Gorou or Sara, she'd at least be Eula's BiS "same type" support. Instead it's Shenhe, even though she's crippled in Eula teams. Edit: Once Mika's out let's see the difference. I think some people are going to blush. :3
@Aneki Ryota yeah, zhongli is needed in my hu tao team, and basically any other team, while rosaria's C6 can't buff Eula's burst since it's only 10 seconds while eula's burst takes 9-9.5 seconds before nuking. Also, that is her only direct physical help, which is again unfortunately hidden behind a 6th constellation.
My regret isn't really a regret but I admit I haven't used her in a long time and used my other characters instead and that's Eula I really love her personality and she was worth the pull to carry me from mondstadt to inazuma but her playstyle compared to others is what made her get benched Also I wish Moga would have talked about the standard 5 stars more other then just keqing banner I mean yea they are standard and there isn't much to say but damn kinda unfair they get so little praise and I was very surprised kazuha wasn't in the first category when he's so much fun and so valuable but yea this 100% feels true to Moga
cyno is much better in a hyperbloom comp (called a quickbloom team) i think most en content creators just haven't touched on that yet even though he's considered very meta in cn community. try using him with nahida yelan and a flex, maybe zhongli or xingqiu and he'll feel much better to play
xingqiu esp c6 doesnt do as well in quickbloom because he eats the dendro aura too quickly and it mostly becomes hypercharge. A slow applicator like barbara, yelan, kokomi (or nilou aura if youre a gigachad) is better for quickbloom. Hoping for dendro xingqiu some day because it hurts to not have dendro aura on enemies when he kills everyone partway through his burst :')
@@Scrayla Depending on her ICD, Yao Yao could be a decent 2nd dendro to Cyno's team, Yelan is better than Xingqiu if you don't want as many hyperblooms in that team, but Xingqiu's interruption resistance is really nice if you don't have/don't want to use a shielder so Yao Yao being a healer can help that shielder problem while also enabling a better dendro application (Specially if you only have dendro mc like i do xd) and resonance, but I honestly don't know as much about Cyno's quickbloom so maybe he's still better with a second electro character and all that, it's been a long time since I've used him because i was waiting to have a good TF set, next abyss I'll use him for sure xd

Indeed and farming that domain for kinda very few units just isnt rly resin efficient so my eula never got built properly so never got that satisfaction from her she is probably my least used character atm from the 5* i got specialy if you got her at c0 and not her sign weap her dmg just isnt anythin special even low i would say compared to other vaporize / melt and now dendro reactions
They will release future patches that will focus on physical units. They didn’t abandon it, just stopped at Sumeru because they wanted to highlight and sell Dendro. I promise you there will be crazy physical supprts and even more 5 star dps units in the future. Especially in Natlan. I get a strong feeling they will introduce some EM physical unit for Shatter reaction.
@@BlackPointt I farmed the domain for her and Zhongli and have her well built with R5 Serpentspine. She hits super hard, but is impractical to use as she doesn't break shields and backloads her burst damage therefore she is worthless in open world and in most abyss floors.
@@exabier3854 i farmed quite bit too but RNG wasnt friendly to me so yeh got some decent pieces for zhongli but mostly garbage or bad rolls for eula so yeh again just wasnt very satisfying using her
Wow as someone who literally runs an overworld team of Ayato/Yae Miko/Kazuha/Kokomi, I am so very….excited by this kind of video. Always cool to see what other people like to play, and think about how my mains would interplay in co-op. Good video idea
The only character i kind of regretted pulling for was release Albedo, but now that we have Itto and Gorou he works really well, now im waiting for a zhongli re-run so i can make an unga bunga mono geo team. the only character I regret not pulling for is Yelan(and maybe Kazuha or Kokomi in abyss cycles that need a lot of healing), i thought she was going to be a glorified Xinquiu(and even though she kinda is) i didnt expect her to arguably be one of the best overall characters in the game(Easy to build, mobility, great damage, off field hydro application that does not make you wet)
See, this is exactly why I like watching your videos Moga. There is actual life and personality in your choices. The characters you prefer and the teams you use aren't anything glorified by the Meta, but you still use them regardless, and make really fun content as well. Had it been any other content creator you'd have them hurry into making Kazuha and Ayaka the first two in the first category because "iT'S kAzUha And aYakA". But seeing you have a different opinion on the matter than the vast majority is plenty refreshing, and fun to watch. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of my own favourite characters in the third and second category, but that didn't bother me in the slightest, you had your reasons, *good* reasons might I add, and the list was a very accurate teller oh how you enjoy your game and how you like to play the game! I don't regret any 5* i have wished till now. I try going for more technical to play characters but given that they have fun playstyle. Like CHILDE😂(he's actually my Only C0R1 character who has his signature 5* weapon and he's my most used character) But knowing Moga i could predict even at start of video that Childe Eula Klee will make it to the bottom list😂
Yeah, I immediately knew he would put them here as well, he's just way too skill issue to play them right , it's like he said, he won't play the harder to play characters, he's just bad at the game relatively speaking
I technically regret not getting Yoimiya when she was rerun twice close to each other, and I lost the 50/50 on the first one. But I also wasn't expecting to get a Keqing con and Nahida both on a super low 10 pull post last min Nilou. She'll come home eventually. The only one I ever regretted was Cyno. But only because I didn't know I'd be able to still get Nilou later, and Candace, who I wanted the most out of the 3 of them, didn't come home yet. Even if I didn't get Nilou later, once I got Candace, my bitterness towards Cyno went away, because I wanted him eventually anyway. He's not built yet, he's certainly fun to use.
im just gonna go through mine real quick i'd have regretten skipping my main, Ayato, i love him so much i love his playstyle, his personality, his drip, everything. Got him C1 and i'll be going for his weapon next week. Kazuha is on basically every team i have so it'd be unfair for me not to put him here. Tighnari is honestly kinda my secondary main and i love using him for more single target stuff Raiden, again just, very fun to use. Now with the 'wouldn't be mad if i didn't have them', honestly, Nahida. I do like using her quite a lot however, in the grand scheme of things I wouldn't be opposed to having to lose her. DMC and Collei are other characters i still use occasionally and i'd be fine using them too. I'm also gonna put Ayaka here but if im being real its kinda just because my ayaka sucks lol. I just havent put the time into getting good artifacts. (I also dont like freeze teams that much so eh) childe basically for the same reason: literally got him like 2 weeks ago so still farming artifacts. all the good ones are already on ayato the only character i'd say i regret pulling is Cyno. My cyno is cracked, like REALLY CRACKED and i put lots of effort into him (even double crown) but god i hate his playstyle. His burst takes so long to get back and by the time i start it everything's alr dead. If i could go back in time i'd much rather have pulled for Venti or Nilou hope yelan lives up to my expectations
You should try cyno quickbloom I've seen lots of ppl saying they regret him I never regret getting cuz his personality and lore makes up for ir but i was very mad at hoyoverse for purposely doing him so dirty but then I tried quick bloom cyno and it feels waaaay better again it may not be the case for you but who knows. I agree that aggravate cyno doesn't feel very good !
quickbloom cyno carried me this abyss tbh and it was really fun too, i remember it was cyno, nahida and kokomi in the team but i can't seem to remember the last person but it was most likely fischl as battery
Those people are so stupid. They never study characters or watch multiple build videos. Some idiot on twitter said Cyno sucks in overworld because they can't burst all the time and I'm like.... Did you not think that was going to be a problem before you spent primos on a burst-reliant unit???? I need players to start being more thoughtful with their primos because why are over half the people in the comments regretting pulling units? I can see that people are only concerned with aesthetics. I like Alhaitham but if I don't like the kit, I'm not pulling. Simple. That's the way it should be.
@@tekrar8825 fr i like to take in both aesthetics and gameplay into consideration when pulling for a character. Like you, Al haitham looks are good however his gameplay isn't as exciting to me as Cyno's is, hence why i've decided not to pull for him. It's honestly so annoying when someone pulls for character just for aesthetic alone then proceeds to complain about their gameplay.
Qiqi... though it wasn't intentional. As for limiteds I regret Shenhe just a little. I do agree that it was my dumb mistake that I pulled her from single when I was on pity unintentionally. Don't get me wrong I love her and she's at friendship lvl 10 but I think she wasn't necessary for my account as my cryo dps is Eula. Above all else her Japanese Va voices Saber so I just regret it in usefulness
0:41 this is why you’re my favorite Genshin CC’er. This is the exact same thing I adore about the game and I’m glad someone feels the same way/to come along on your journey. Crazy how much I agreed here, by the way. My tier 1s: Ayaka, Shenhe, Venti, Yoimiya, Kokomi. Tier 2s: Zhongli, Ganyu, and Albedo. Tier 3s: Kazuha and Itto. Not too bad a list, if I do say so myself. I get decent value for my characters, by and large (Itto was a 20 pity accident).
The only character I kind of regret summoning is Ayato, I love him and his character but if I have to choose between him or Yelan or him or Childe, I'll always go for the other 2, Yelan is just so much fun and in a hyperbloom team is insane and just so good to pass up and Childe was the first 5 star I wanted and got and double cowned, so I'm too attached to him, Sorry Ayato, I promise I'll rebuild you the day I decide I want to get a better crit damage circlet for my Xiao
I on the other hand often find myself using him for whatever, I usually always pull characters I like and not those that I use, and when it comes to Ayato I didn't know if I would ever use him much before pulling. Now one of my favourite teams ever is mono hydro with him, Xingqiu, Yelan and Kokomi, and this teams clearing time in both AoE and Single target (even tho it doesn't have Kazuha nor Bennett) is only a few seconds behind my Rational when it comes to Abyss Floor 12. My Bennett even has Alley Flash or Mistsplitter if needed, and I can put my Xiao's Homa on Raiden as well.
Yeah if he didn’t have those then he probably would regret pulling for him because honestly c2 to a endgame standpoint and c6 Faruzan makes him way more useable and great he is also pretty unique so I can understand him putting it in the first category or middle
you should try playing around with yae miko gilded dreams set in a team with nahida and fischl, theyre really fun to play and i really like the aggravate and spread dmg after getting yae it became my favorite teamcomp after yoimias, really recommend at least trying out!!
I don't regret pulling for any characters, but there are certainly a handful of characters that I regret using leveling resources on. There are also characters who were absolutely wonderful for me in the past, yet are unable to find slots in my "endgame" teams. I believe I'll regret not making the C4 -> C6 leap with both Yelan & Nahida next chance(s) I get. Not sure if I'll get Nilou past her current C2, though.
The Charas I would regret not summoning are my 2 favourite Charas Xiao and Koko. Have them since day one and love them both till this day. Both are in every Abyss cycle without any exception and I always make them work especially Xiao. Koko always fits cause of her sup role.. The Charas that I am glad that I got even though I did not aim for them (mostly early 50/50 wins) are Yae, Venti (on his OG banner), Yoimiya and Ganyu. Even though I only use Yoimiya and Ganyu on the overworld, they literally delete everything! But they are not well enough build and I also don't have their proper routine down to beat Abyss floor 12 with them. Most of the Charas I pulled for, I pulled because I wanted them or where an addition to my 2 favourite Charas. Kazuha, Nahida (she is almost in my would regret not summoning tier), Albedo, Zhongli, Klee! ( even though she is benched now, she was my first dps and she got me through the content with ease until I got Xiao) and Scara. My regret pile is very small.. There is only one in it and that is Childe, I hate him and also wasn't aiming for him but I was dumb that time and wanted a c6 Fischl and he spooked me. I also kinda regret going for c1 Klee, that time I still used her a lot and thought it would be useful.. But in general I don't regret skipping any Charas or going for cons. My account is an almost day 1 account and I have enough Charas that are decently build to beat everything I want. I also have a (currently abandoned) alt acc with different Charas on it, like Ayaka, Itto, Yelan and Raiden and I just don't have that much fun on that acc like I have on my main.
My most regret was not trying hard enough to hoard primos when yelan released (that was when I got burned out from genshin) but aside from that, I don't regret any summons I did because I pull for characters with a fitting playstyle for me.
Moga's taste is quite opposite of mine. I love childe because of his skill ceiling and the rewarding gamplay once you master it. Whereas I don't like playing itto because of his straight unga-bunga nature, though I love itto as a character a lot.
Then you don't know how to play Itto. He has a pretty high floor yeah, but to play him optimally he's objectively one of the hardest in the game. Him, Childe and Al Haitham are a tier above the rest by a comfortable margin
I've been using my Cyno with Nahida, Yelan and Kazuha. He is my first character with 5* signature. This team is just helping me with every domain now, they are fun to set up. I guess you could go with Raiden, but I just find Cyno's burst much more fun and satisfying
I don't have all of the 5-stars that are playable right now but I agree with u in so many points, I wanted Klee after the golden apple archipelago event in 1.6 and I did get her but I never used her, only when playing in coop with people that have a low ar. And I pulled for yoimiya right after so I wasn't in need of pyro dps. Tartaglia too, I never wanted him, I just wanted Fischl since she was on his banner but I got him early, TWICE, but never used him. Ayato too, I was so excited to pull for him, I even got his weapon, but after I got his friendship card I basically never used him again. And Nilou is my everything, even though I build her as a main dps and never used her in a bloom team, I love her so damn much, I'll never regret pulling for her. But I do regret not pulling for Nahida, I wasn't sure if I should pull for her, because I didn't like her design as much but now that I've tried her in events, I regret it so much ):
I think since you put Zhongli on most of your team comps and most of your characters are kitted enough to finish the hardest content with ample time (signature weapon and constellations, good enough artifacts), it kinda made you not want more damage but just convenience, so it really is understandable haha! Like I can't pair my Ayaka to Bennett, because I need my enemies be frozen to do crit hits, and using Xingqui on that team ain't gonna work since I need more damage from Thrilling Tales weapon from a catalyst user since I don't have the Mistplitter Forged acquired.
I love collecting, i always finish whatever game i am playing, then i like to go back and complete side missions, collectibles achiecements, or raise and collect EVERY SINGLE character in whatever game i am playing.
for me the only five star id ever go so far to say i regret summoning is probably tighnari, i love the character alot but.. 1: hes a standard character now, 2: alot of his damage potential is locked behind his weapon, 3: i only got him bc dendro was new and i really wanted to use it for damage, and 4: i feel like there is no situation in the game where i need to use him
Tighnari is good with single target (or bosses) a good quick swap unit so you need other units to fill up his down time. (Yae is the perfect candidate)
The thing that makes Kokomi great is the fact that she applies Hydro in a quite large aoe with no icd while not applying hydro to you (unlike barbara). Barbara is not bad, but their hydro application isnt comparable, as well as barbara being either healing or damage while kokomi gets more damage if you build her for healing
I'm mixed on this, as a childe main since his first banner and ayato and cyno enjoyer (my most used characters in abyss probably lol but I get that theyre not everyones cup of tea, but also like. skill issue) But I agree on eula, i pulled her when she came out bc she's pretty but i really don't use her at all. I also kinda regret ganyu but I still play her from time to time. A character i wouldn't mind being deleted from my acc would be keqing tho

Like i will fully admit that i won't ever pull or use hu tao bc i can't do/am too lazy to learn the jump canceling and theres many units where I feel that way lol. But I feel like childe just gets so much unwarranted hate bc ppl can't play him right 💀 (plus he also gets mischaracterized by literally everyone, even his fans and eng va, so i feel like that plays into why ppl dislike him and aren't willing to put in effort into learning his playstyle)
I don't regret anyone at the moment, but at the time i regretted Yae when she got nerfed, i was so angry to have waited months and months for her just to be nerfed to hell. Thankfully they reverted that, and now with dendro she's my top pick in every team.
I have 2 pulls I regret. Chasing 4 stars and getting Venti's worthless c1 and Eula who I became incredibly bored of her playstyle a week after I pulled her. Pulling Eula also cost me future pulls. Pulling Eula meant I had to skip Kazuha's first banner, then pulling Kazuha on his rerun made me have to skip Yelan. Pulling Eula is literally hurting me 2 years later.
The biggest character I regret summoning is Klee. She is the only one I've gone out of my way to summon for in early game, and she did carry me then but I just don't like her that much. Also Eula. I love her design and personality but I hate her playstyle, its soooo basic and I don't like characters who live and die over 1 number.
I didn't get Klee but I did make an entirely new account just so that I could get a better chance at summoning her when she first came out. I didn't, but I guess that was okay.
I have recently tried the quickbloom team (Cyno, Nahida/Dendro Traveller, Xingqiu, Shinobu) with Cyno and i found that to be a pretty fun team. But i generally dont regets anyone, i have had my reasons for pulling every single one that i have. Even if i dont really play them. The only exeption here being maybe Hutao. I'm just not the biggest fan of her playstlye. But then again, i've been using her in abyss floor 9 and 10 for the last few rotations and i can see why she is so good. Also Zhongli and Nahida are two characters that i don't regret not getting.
honestly Cyno with aggravate is quite bland, but his Hyperbloom teams are actually really nice and smooth to play with (along with the fact that the team DPS is much higher, lol).
It’s all about preferences. The fact that you try to max EVERY SINGLE character must be hard enough and then there are just play styles better than others. Helpful video and thanks for your views.
Honestly I kind of regret Cyno too. It feels like no matter what reactions I go for or how I build him, he never does more damage, and it makes playing him feel like a button mashing shore. His charged attacks in his burst feel super clunky too since they just launch you in a way that doesn't feel intuitive. I think I have the most fun with him just traveling the overworld with him, Tighnari, Collei and Traveler rather than doing any major fights.
@@chaosinfernoid9008 at that point why pull for cyno when u can just run kuki instead, the general conclusion is to use quickbloom cyno which also focuses on cynos actual damage, but his weapon is kind of important else he will probably underperform
@@ardorblossom I have Jade Spear on him and he still shreds in Quickbloom. His clear times is actually competitive to my Childe International or Raiden national, especially in boss chambers.

I agree with the Venti thing. He's kind of a weird character compared to others because he's very content dependent and kinda... Yeah, he's not very useful when it's single target chambers in abyss, but when it's mobs? He's the best unit to have in your team BY FAR. Not only that, which is very often in abyss 9 to 11, but also more common than people realize in abyss 12, but also for everyday stuff like leylines, daily quests, etc... He's just SO useful and not having him for that type of stuff actually feels a bit painful lol. Also, he and kazuha are actually very strong together. Both their taser and especially their aggravate teams are very fun, since you build kazuha on TF so you can spam his E, and it's overall a very fun quickswap gameplay that I love ^^
I have to say i do regret getting cyno. I really like him as a character but i dont have an electro support build that can battery him, so i can never get his burst. Another thing is that i dont like using burst dependent characters in the overworld (exept raiden bc she can get her burst super fast) its just a pain. And i have better options for abyss so hes just benched. I also couldve gotten both scara and raiden for my acc had i not pulled for him, since i was at high pity with guaranteed and enough pulls. So yeah i kinda hate myself for not saving up and skipping him.
I'm still sitting on an early pull level 20 Albedo all the way back from the Bennett banner shortly after release... I'll get to it eventually, though, but Geo as a whole isn't my favorite, and Albedo + Gorou + either Noelle or Itto if I get him very early feels like quite a bit to commit to for basically just one team. Albedo would've actually been great for me back then, but nowadays I've got basically all the alternatives, and I don't play characters for which a double-geo setup is a great option for how comfy it is. That is the only thing coming even slightly close to a regret, though, I could've done better but it's no big deal at all with the excess I''ve already got.
The only character I ever regretted pulling was Childe I got him in his first banner, at the time I didn't really bother looking up the character kits and all that before pulling, and I also didn't watch the trailer that explained his gameplay so let's just say he wasn't what I thought he was at all and now he's collecting dust in my account
Being a childe main I don't blame you, his kit is not for everybody since using him needs a bit of practice, but his kit is also what childe mains enjoy about him the most.

it’s nice to see a different perspective. I think if anyone were to use this as a basis of who to pull for, I’d think the best takeaway is honestly, do you like playing the character. Another thing to keep in mind is that Moga has constellations and signature weapon on most/all units he’s mentioning. Which is fine because that’s his experience but as a low spender, I’ve taken to really appreciating when characters have solid four and even 3* weapon options. Surprised to hear the comment about Kazuha feeling robotic/a chore to use. I actually feel that way about Ayaka and Raiden, who I only pulled for abyss. I never play them in the open world because outside of Raidens skill, I actually don’t find their play style fun personally. I tried Ganyu on my friends account…. It’s also not for me. On the flip side, Kazuha feels super fun to me because I find grouping enemies to me satisfying.
I regret getting xiao tbh,out of all character that i pull he is the only one level 70,idk why but when i play him on my friend acc he seems fun but after pulling him and playing him,i just lost interest in him completely kinda weird but yeah what can i do
I love that there is no actually no actually toxic comments, also people use constructive criticism. It was interesting to read all this and video ofc. Never thought Moga would use Yoimiya more than HuTao (as a yoi main). I really like her playstyle and design, so it was nice to saw her shining at top list there. But also i am cryo main (ayaka, eula, ganyu) who plays through shatter and freeze and i know why people can find this characters hard to use. But i don't regret to pull for any character (i regret Amos tho).
not gonna lie, I feel like Moga didn’t give Childe much of a chance, or maybe he did but gave up halfway through, most of his complaints or understanding of Childe is either kinda close to truth or WAYY off, no in-between, but its personal preference ig, as a Childe main, I literally can’t comprehend not liking Childe, he’s so fun, plus Moga’s account has so much options for Childe, I’ve been hopeful that he’ll give him a chance, he almost did a while back, but to no avail. Childe is my favorite character but I understand why some people would not like playing him. He is very technical to play properly. He has other teams than international but those can be even more technical. The duration of his E makes him not work on other team comps he could be part of or at least not for more than a short fight. For me seeing a billion numbers can be fun but it can also be bothersome because all those numbers flying on screen make it impossible to see what the enemy is doing. Some people might not like the blinding amounts of numbers.
Right now,ALMOST no regret, i am a returning players that stopped at like zhongli release, only had keqing for the longest time, came back during nahida banner,got her in 20 pulls and she was a perfect fit for my most used teams. Randomly got childe in 30 pulls while going for heizou const and i dont regret it,he is really fun and can also use alot of the unit i already have built. The ONLY kinda regret is scaramouche(tbh he also wasnt intentional but i thought i would like him more than itto), man is scaramouche gameplay not for me,but it isnt horrible cuz i just use him for exploration.
klee was my absolute fav character from when i started playing genshin, i've wanted her for so long, but yes, i hate playing with her, even though i've already mastered all her animation cancels. never regretted pulling for her tho❤️❤️

You either don’t like his personality or lost the 50/50 in his banner! Edit: plus he is more versatile than Venti… and easier to use/play! But Moga put Venti in the first category
The Keqing banner displaced Hu Tao’s premiere out of real-life CNY 2021. (Mona, Jean, and Diluc were bad by not being from Liyue. Qiqi is from Liyue, but fails because she’s a zombie .)
I don't regret any of the 5* I have or went for. I regret that I can't play more often because I usually miss all the really good characters like now I got Itto and am gonna miss Raiden Edit: Although I regret not winning that 50/50 on Kazuha's first banner
I'm just really happy that Moga did give a moment to very clearly point out- These are personal opinions, and that he's not even saying that they're bad. Just don't personally like them or playing them. Just keeping that in mind made this very very fun to watch- I love seeing the difference in people and their different opinions, so this was very fun. For example, you had many characters that I love being in either the second or third section, but I completely understood why and it was fun seeing it from a different perspective. I love Tighnari, the only and very big reason as to why I regret pulling for him is that he's a standard now. I have very high patience when it comes to rolling for characters, so it truly was a loss for me.
You were smart for Tighnari though. You got him while he was guaranteed. There's a chance you'd never roll him. There are people who played since launch that still are missing standard banner 5 stars and would kill for a Diluc banner etc
My only regret is Ganyu. On my main that is, my main is on my phone it’s mobile it’s super hard to use a bow, aside from DPS I could swap her with Diona and still have good cryo applications, I genuinely wish I had waited for a xiao rerun. Aside from that all my five stars are greatly loved, mostly Keqing (she’s my main lol) Kazuha, Nahida, and I do have a wanderer but he’s still kinda new- so idk much about him
It maybe skill issue, don't always put the blame on mobile lol. I play on mobile so I saw that every content creator says that bow characters ain't good in mobile. But after a week of struggle I learn them to use. Now I use ganyu ,tighnari, fischl without a problem. And if you're telling it's hard to play it will be applied for every characters because it's harder to do rotation in mobile too in abyss, harder to do dodging too.
If I had pulled for Kazuha while having a well built Sucrose, I would've regretted it, a lot, I was going to pull for him but waited, saw videos, reviews, results and comparisons between to two and I am glad I didn't.
i do my weekly bosses coop with a friend. i usually use itto with c6 benny. the extra pyro on the NA is useful with the extra elemental damage going around, and itto's burst doesnt care about the infusion.
Raiden is the only unit I regret pulling. She was impossible to build and I spent 3 months getting her the catch for lackluster performance. Yeah she is a decent battery and electro applicator but most of the time I prefer Fischl. As for a hyper cary, she really needs Bennet to shine and I absolutely HATE using him so I'm not going to pair a unit I hate just to make her work when I don't enjoy her to begin with. Lesson learned always play the demo a million times before pulling.
I love Klee but I swore a lot while trying to learn her playstyle. The Wanderer's weapon made her a lot more fun for me, without having to cancel her animations and such.
Yaoyao applies enough dendro to make hyperbloom work if that's what you mean. I use Kuki and Yaoyao on the same hyperbloom team in the abyss and even though they are both healers it doesn't matter since all I care about is the EM to proc the reactions. It makes me unkillable too 🤣
I 100% agree with itto. I have him (im a casual spender) and only have gorou c4 and no other good geo that would work well in his team (i don't have zhongli or albedo) Despite having itto's weapon and him built pretty well, he's been benched ever since I got him due to me not being able to fufill the team he needs to do big doodoo damage.. (i've pulled for zhongli ever banner he has been in but i've lost every single time :D)

I do kinda regret pulling for Childe. But Nahida didn't want to come home so I was mad and pulled for him. He actually came within 2 wishes. Like 2 wishes more and I could've gotten Nahida... His burst once did 360k with is my highest number by far but I hate his E cooldown. His Hydro attacks are so fun to use but I can't enjoy them fully cuz otherwise the cooldown would be too long:/
Wanderer seems like the hands down best adventuring character in the game. Unless there is some one else who can fly or some major limiting I'm not aware of. It seems like such as easy way to get some of the more tedious things like steeles that fly into weird places.
i definitely also regretted getting Klee and Childe. Klee is adorable and that's why i wanted her. But she is just so clunky to me especially since i was a Yanfei main when i pulled for her. Childes long cooldown gets me everytime. even if i switch out of melee once my other buffs are done its not ready when i get back to him and i end up wasting a lot of time.
I regret yoimiya, unlike ayato and wanderer she is incapable of doing AoE and she only does single target damage which honestly wastes more time especially when the abyss are multiple enemies.
Watching this video and quietly nodding to your takes. We have almost identical preference, the only disagreement I had was for Kokomi, Kazuha and Albedo, I would really miss them if I hadn't pulled them. Albedo's off-field dmg is so satisfying and works wonders in my Hu Tao main team. And sameee, I find myself using Yoimiya more often than Hu Tao now!
I'm so gonna hated for this but though its really not a regret or anything but just have mixed feelings for them, the ones i kinda regret are the Archons even though they're extremely good, Ei for her god awful overall thing as a character that even managed to somewhat hate anything related to her and even her own element, Nahida because of her no dmg Ult and being vulnerable everytime she holds E skill as a need, Zhongli because he's basically just a shielder, his very first initial weak impression and his element, and though I don't have him but Venti too because of his laxed nature and his bits of lore that caused a massive pain to one of the harbingers at least...

Though I am gonna get hated because I can bear the rest but the only one I can't bear is Nahida, I hate, hate, hate her animations.. like I actually find them not fitting/misinterperet of the character. It bugs me because they showed that her personality is very mature (even more than adults in the game) and then, she goes running around and hopping like Klee.. a literal child. I find it pretty annoying that I began to hate her character, even though I loved her as an Archon. So I am still waiting for the time I find peace with it so I can use her, which will probably be, never.
i think having cons and every single weapon affects this tier list. because F2P ayato is probably the fastest commision/elite mob grind at c0 and no BiS weapon. he's the best DPS in UBER team. definitely would regret not summoning him.
My biggest regret is rolling for Raiden Shogun. I had gotten her weapon twice while I was trying to get kokomi's weapon and I was never really interested in her cause I didn't like her playstyle all that much and I know she's awesome in a bunch of teams but I've tried to build her so many time and she's now on the back burner for me and never getting used xD
For your mention of how Ayaka has dropped off because Cryo can’t work with Dendro. I’m actually using Cryo Bloom atm. Apply Cryo, apply Dendro, use the Hydro character as main dps farm blooms for a bit, switch into your Cryo character/‘s and freeze the enemy Bloom seeds hits the enemy as they are frozen
The only characters I can say I regret pulling is Childe and Eula, mostly cuz I don't use them as much as I use other characters. But I promised myself that I'll go back to grinding for them but whenever I try to get good artifacts for them they're the ONLY ones I can't get anything for and it pains me everytime to just see them rotting in my account. Only characters I'll say I regret not getting is Shenhe and Yelan since I love their character in their archon quests but I was saving for other characters at the time and from how much Mihoyo or Hoyoverse has delayed Shenhe, she's just like Hu Tao for me now in which idrc about her as much anymore. I'll just get her when I get her. But the characters I will maximize to all my potential are all the characters I continue to use and main till this day mostly Lumine, Xiao, Venti, Kazuha, Albedo, Cyno, Scaramouche and the other archons. The only other characters I maximize that I don't really main are Diluc, Klee, and Yae Miko.

I kinda view Ayato in the same light as Yoimiya, he may not have a ceiling as high as other chars, but his flexibility and his ability to have long off field presence in such a large AOE makes him so valuable for so many teams and comps that want that kind of support, especially more so now that we have dendro with bloom reactions.

Agreed, I got him by accident while greeding for Yun Jin constellations. But now I can't even remember the last time he wasn't on one of my abyss teams. Initially he was my hydro for freeze because I hadn't pulled Kokomi yet, and then at some point I realized DAMN I actually built him really well so I ran him as main DPS for well. Then dendro came around and now he's my on field with Nahida and Kuki in hyperbloom, and it's sooo good.
As someone who has most of the cast I'd say that our current opinion on characters is not really important, instead it's crucial to consider that characters lifetime on your account. For example I dont us eula much right now bur I remember being literally OBSESSED with her ultimate, I'd just run around yashiori island murder everything I could with her ultimate. It's a fond memory of mine which always prompts me to say that I, in no way regret pulling her (even if she cost me much more than the rest of units).
Yeah, my Eula has been on the back burner lately, but my Yunjin is now enough to be worth the slot to see how much larger that I can make Eula's ult slap harder :3

i only went for c0 nahida and i kind of regret that, i use her basically every day and have her in almostt every team comp that has elemental reactions. though i typically try to go for 1 copy of every 5* to have everyone, i'm going to go for at least c1 nahida next time she has a re-run.
On that note i also regret not pulling for nilou, but that's due to saving for nahida. And i stil don't have yae miko. every time she runs i'm still saving for a different upcoming character.
That Mona bit cut deep through my soul. I finally have her but I got her on Nahida's banner and i'm a day 1 player. It took more than 2 years for her to show up T_T

Before I really want to try her, but now that I fully built her she's only being used for damage per screenshot lol
For me a regret is trying to get Mistsplitter after I got Ayaka on the ling banner, I spent about 20 pulls there being completely f2p. Didn't get Yelan. Lost Kazuha's C1 to Mona's C1
But at leat that gave me a stroke of luck and after 3.0 I got
Kokomi (used the guarantee, 77 pity)
Venti (finally, third time's the charm and I won the 50/50, 77 pity)
Cyno (super early, went mainly for Candace and Kuki, but got him at 9 pity, no regrets, he's actually god now)
Jean (lost at 78 pity, went for Nahida)
Nahida (early, at 18 pity)
Diluc (at 80 pity, well, a guaranteed Alhaitham is nice)
Elegy for the end and Xiphos' Moonlight (Venti and Kazuha are happy now)
And 4 5*s from the standard banner: Amos' bow (77), Keqing's C3 (mehhh, the only actual loss), an early Skyward Spine (Xiangling is happy) and an early Diluc.
And for someone who didn't really get early 5*s from 1.4 to 2.8, this is actually a really lucky stroke haha

I've heard he has a longer cooldown if you keep him melee before swapping
@@anchor8723 its only 1-2 seconds added, if you are paying attention to how much time you are in melee stance its not that much of a problem, but if you mistime it then it can mess up your skill rotations due to the extra seconds

@@turothescrub6830 i think they meant that not swapping to melee before switching adds 1-2 seconds. There's actually a workaround to his cooldown problems in international, which is to use his burst before his E and then swapping him off when the burst cooldown counter goes to 6 sec (this helps time his optimal 9 sec uptime, since his burst has a 15 sec cooldown).

But when pulling for cryo characters it's basically Freeze. Unfortunately take me a lot of time to find my own gameplay playstyle, but Ayaka is good (Mine is a little shit against bosses but it's probably team composition). And for Kokomi, well, she's being in my team since I pulled for her, i like all my team with full HP lol (Kokomi is great, i mean, she works with every single element on this game)

You don't need to switch to ranged mode Childe before you swap to another character, it switches into the ranged mode automatically when you swap. Only if some weapon and/or artifact set take effect upon skill use, it might be important whether you switch manually or not; otherwise it really doesn't matter; not doing it is faster so that's what I normally do.

I originally had the same feelings about cyno until I tried him in a quickbloom team and it just feels right and much better than aggravate. It also makes great use of his EM based passive and kit, sure he's not the best but I feel like people are judging him in the wrong team comp
in the cyno mains reddit, most have changed to quickbloom so i do think it's his best, but everyone thought he was aggravate in the beginning. i also play him quickbloom it's so fun hitting e and see all the blooms explode during his burst.
The problem is that kuki and raiden are better than him in that team 😭

@@penpen1089 Why can't you have both? I run Cyno and Kuki. A DPS that provides damage and can trigger hyperblooms and an electro healer+hyperbloom trigger is a busted comp. You don't have to run one against the other.

Try putting him in a hyperbloom and Qucken/aggravate comp.
He shines a lot more in that type of team compared to just a standard aggravate/quicken comp
And will outperform Keqing because of his EM scaling

I feel a better comp for Cyno is most def hyperbloom/quickbloom, coming from someone who has no Nahida, Yelan or any premium units for this comp it absolutely shreds things with just Cyno, Kuki(full EM Build), DMC & xingqui, I never feel his burst lasts too long and it just feels so much stronger overall compared to aggravate with him.

I used to have the same feelings about Ayato, but I was also running vape compositions with him, and the moment I switched to electro charged Ayato comps he became a lot more fun. I recommend Fischl and/or Yae with him (might also make Yae more fun too! I don't have her so I can't say for sure) and see if your opinion changes :)
i usually use ayato, Beidou, Fischl, Bennett/Kuki for electrocharge. and yes he is alot fun in electrocharge team. I recommend beidou esp if u have her at c6.
Does Raiden work with him? I'm planning to pull on both characters and saved up a ton of primos

For Cyno, you should try Quickbloom. Pure Aggravate is just not the team for him. Quickbloom not only doubles his damage, but it also makes him more fun

Hu Tao has to be the character I regretted summoning for considering I really wanted her after seeing all the high damage she could do but ended up never using her because of her playstyle.

@Aneki Ryota yeah, zhongli is needed in my hu tao team, and basically any other team, while rosaria's C6 can't buff Eula's burst since it's only 10 seconds while eula's burst takes 9-9.5 seconds before nuking. Also, that is her only direct physical help, which is again unfortunately hidden behind a 6th constellation.
My regret isn't really a regret but I admit I haven't used her in a long time and used my other characters instead and that's Eula I really love her personality and she was worth the pull to carry me from mondstadt to inazuma but her playstyle compared to others is what made her get benched

cyno is much better in a hyperbloom comp (called a quickbloom team) i think most en content creators just haven't touched on that yet even though he's considered very meta in cn community. try using him with nahida yelan and a flex, maybe zhongli or xingqiu and he'll feel much better to play
xingqiu esp c6 doesnt do as well in quickbloom because he eats the dendro aura too quickly and it mostly becomes hypercharge. A slow applicator like barbara, yelan, kokomi (or nilou aura if youre a gigachad) is better for quickbloom. Hoping for dendro xingqiu some day because it hurts to not have dendro aura on enemies when he kills everyone partway through his burst :')

@@Scrayla Depending on her ICD, Yao Yao could be a decent 2nd dendro to Cyno's team, Yelan is better than Xingqiu if you don't want as many hyperblooms in that team, but Xingqiu's interruption resistance is really nice if you don't have/don't want to use a shielder so Yao Yao being a healer can help that shielder problem while also enabling a better dendro application (Specially if you only have dendro mc like i do xd) and resonance, but I honestly don't know as much about Cyno's quickbloom so maybe he's still better with a second electro character and all that, it's been a long time since I've used him because i was waiting to have a good TF set, next abyss I'll use him for sure xd

Indeed and farming that domain for kinda very few units just isnt rly resin efficient so my eula never got built properly so never got that satisfaction from her she is probably my least used character atm from the 5* i got specialy if you got her at c0 and not her sign weap her dmg just isnt anythin special even low i would say compared to other vaporize / melt and now dendro reactions
They will release future patches that will focus on physical units. They didn’t abandon it, just stopped at Sumeru because they wanted to highlight and sell Dendro. I promise you there will be crazy physical supprts and even more 5 star dps units in the future. Especially in Natlan. I get a strong feeling they will introduce some EM physical unit for Shatter reaction.

@@BlackPointt I farmed the domain for her and Zhongli and have her well built with R5 Serpentspine. She hits super hard, but is impractical to use as she doesn't break shields and backloads her burst damage therefore she is worthless in open world and in most abyss floors.

Wow as someone who literally runs an overworld team of Ayato/Yae Miko/Kazuha/Kokomi, I am so very….excited by this kind of video. Always cool to see what other people like to play, and think about how my mains would interplay in co-op. Good video idea
The only character i kind of regretted pulling for was release Albedo, but now that we have Itto and Gorou he works really well, now im waiting for a zhongli re-run so i can make an unga bunga mono geo team.
the only character I regret not pulling for is Yelan(and maybe Kazuha or Kokomi in abyss cycles that need a lot of healing), i thought she was going to be a glorified Xinquiu(and even though she kinda is) i didnt expect her to arguably be one of the best overall characters in the game(Easy to build, mobility, great damage, off field hydro application that does not make you wet)
See, this is exactly why I like watching your videos Moga. There is actual life and personality in your choices. The characters you prefer and the teams you use aren't anything glorified by the Meta, but you still use them regardless, and make really fun content as well.
Had it been any other content creator you'd have them hurry into making Kazuha and Ayaka the first two in the first category because "iT'S kAzUha And aYakA". But seeing you have a different opinion on the matter than the vast majority is plenty refreshing, and fun to watch.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of my own favourite characters in the third and second category, but that didn't bother me in the slightest, you had your reasons, *good* reasons might I add, and the list was a very accurate teller oh how you enjoy your game and how you like to play the game!

I technically regret not getting Yoimiya when she was rerun twice close to each other, and I lost the 50/50 on the first one. But I also wasn't expecting to get a Keqing con and Nahida both on a super low 10 pull post last min Nilou. She'll come home eventually.
The only one I ever regretted was Cyno. But only because I didn't know I'd be able to still get Nilou later, and Candace, who I wanted the most out of the 3 of them, didn't come home yet. Even if I didn't get Nilou later, once I got Candace, my bitterness towards Cyno went away, because I wanted him eventually anyway. He's not built yet, he's certainly fun to use.

Now with the 'wouldn't be mad if i didn't have them', honestly, Nahida. I do like using her quite a lot however, in the grand scheme of things I wouldn't be opposed to having to lose her. DMC and Collei are other characters i still use occasionally and i'd be fine using them too.
I'm also gonna put Ayaka here but if im being real its kinda just because my ayaka sucks lol. I just havent put the time into getting good artifacts. (I also dont like freeze teams that much so eh)
childe basically for the same reason: literally got him like 2 weeks ago so still farming artifacts. all the good ones are already on ayato
the only character i'd say i regret pulling is Cyno. My cyno is cracked, like REALLY CRACKED and i put lots of effort into him (even double crown) but god i hate his playstyle. His burst takes so long to get back and by the time i start it everything's alr dead. If i could go back in time i'd much rather have pulled for Venti or Nilou

You should try cyno quickbloom I've seen lots of ppl saying they regret him I never regret getting cuz his personality and lore makes up for ir but i was very mad at hoyoverse for purposely doing him so dirty but then I tried quick bloom cyno and it feels waaaay better again it may not be the case for you but who knows. I agree that aggravate cyno doesn't feel very good !
quickbloom cyno carried me this abyss tbh and it was really fun too, i remember it was cyno, nahida and kokomi in the team but i can't seem to remember the last person but it was most likely fischl as battery

Some idiot on twitter said Cyno sucks in overworld because they can't burst all the time and I'm like.... Did you not think that was going to be a problem before you spent primos on a burst-reliant unit???? I need players to start being more thoughtful with their primos because why are over half the people in the comments regretting pulling units?
I can see that people are only concerned with aesthetics. I like Alhaitham but if I don't like the kit, I'm not pulling. Simple. That's the way it should be.
@@tekrar8825 fr i like to take in both aesthetics and gameplay into consideration when pulling for a character. Like you, Al haitham looks are good however his gameplay isn't as exciting to me as Cyno's is, hence why i've decided not to pull for him.

As for limiteds I regret Shenhe just a little. I do agree that it was my dumb mistake that I pulled her from single when I was on pity unintentionally. Don't get me wrong I love her and she's at friendship lvl 10 but I think she wasn't necessary for my account as my cryo dps is Eula. Above all else her Japanese Va voices Saber so I just regret it in usefulness

Tier 3s: Kazuha and Itto.
Not too bad a list, if I do say so myself. I get decent value for my characters, by and large (Itto was a 20 pity accident).
The only character I kind of regret summoning is Ayato, I love him and his character but if I have to choose between him or Yelan or him or Childe, I'll always go for the other 2, Yelan is just so much fun and in a hyperbloom team is insane and just so good to pass up and Childe was the first 5 star I wanted and got and double cowned, so I'm too attached to him, Sorry Ayato, I promise I'll rebuild you the day I decide I want to get a better crit damage circlet for my Xiao

I on the other hand often find myself using him for whatever, I usually always pull characters I like and not those that I use, and when it comes to Ayato I didn't know if I would ever use him much before pulling. Now one of my favourite teams ever is mono hydro with him, Xingqiu, Yelan and Kokomi, and this teams clearing time in both AoE and Single target (even tho it doesn't have Kazuha nor Bennett) is only a few seconds behind my Rational when it comes to Abyss Floor 12. My Bennett even has Alley Flash or Mistsplitter if needed, and I can put my Xiao's Homa on Raiden as well.

Yeah if he didn’t have those then he probably would regret pulling for him because honestly c2 to a endgame standpoint and c6 Faruzan makes him way more useable and great he is also pretty unique so I can understand him putting it in the first category or middle
you should try playing around with yae miko gilded dreams set in a team with nahida and fischl, theyre really fun to play and i really like the aggravate and spread dmg
after getting yae it became my favorite teamcomp after yoimias, really recommend at least trying out!!

I don't regret pulling for any characters, but there are certainly a handful of characters that I regret using leveling resources on.
There are also characters who were absolutely wonderful for me in the past, yet are unable to find slots in my "endgame" teams.
I believe I'll regret not making the C4 -> C6 leap with both Yelan & Nahida next chance(s) I get. Not sure if I'll get Nilou past her current C2, though.
The Charas I would regret not summoning are my 2 favourite Charas Xiao and Koko. Have them since day one and love them both till this day. Both are in every Abyss cycle without any exception and I always make them work especially Xiao. Koko always fits cause of her sup role..
The Charas that I am glad that I got even though I did not aim for them (mostly early 50/50 wins) are Yae, Venti (on his OG banner), Yoimiya and Ganyu. Even though I only use Yoimiya and Ganyu on the overworld, they literally delete everything! But they are not well enough build and I also don't have their proper routine down to beat Abyss floor 12 with them.
Most of the Charas I pulled for, I pulled because I wanted them or where an addition to my 2 favourite Charas. Kazuha, Nahida (she is almost in my would regret not summoning tier), Albedo, Zhongli, Klee! ( even though she is benched now, she was my first dps and she got me through the content with ease until I got Xiao) and Scara.
My regret pile is very small.. There is only one in it and that is Childe, I hate him and also wasn't aiming for him but I was dumb that time and wanted a c6 Fischl and he spooked me. I also kinda regret going for c1 Klee, that time I still used her a lot and thought it would be useful.. But in general I don't regret skipping any Charas or going for cons. My account is an almost day 1 account and I have enough Charas that are decently build to beat everything I want. I also have a (currently abandoned) alt acc with different Charas on it, like Ayaka, Itto, Yelan and Raiden and I just don't have that much fun on that acc like I have on my main.
My most regret was not trying hard enough to hoard primos when yelan released (that was when I got burned out from genshin) but aside from that, I don't regret any summons I did because I pull for characters with a fitting playstyle for me.
I like to see colors so Ayaka burst and then Childe/Ayato skills are just pure bliss.
Moga's taste is quite opposite of mine. I love childe because of his skill ceiling and the rewarding gamplay once you master it. Whereas I don't like playing itto because of his straight unga-bunga nature, though I love itto as a character a lot.
Same, once you master Childe's CD he is incredibly satisfying
Itto and Childe are my 2 mains because of the contrast in their play style
Then you don't know how to play Itto. He has a pretty high floor yeah, but to play him optimally he's objectively one of the hardest in the game. Him, Childe and Al Haitham are a tier above the rest by a comfortable margin
I've been using my Cyno with Nahida, Yelan and Kazuha. He is my first character with 5* signature. This team is just helping me with every domain now, they are fun to set up. I guess you could go with Raiden, but I just find Cyno's burst much more fun and satisfying
I don't have all of the 5-stars that are playable right now but I agree with u in so many points, I wanted Klee after the golden apple archipelago event in 1.6 and I did get her but I never used her, only when playing in coop with people that have a low ar. And I pulled for yoimiya right after so I wasn't in need of pyro dps. Tartaglia too, I never wanted him, I just wanted Fischl since she was on his banner but I got him early, TWICE, but never used him. Ayato too, I was so excited to pull for him, I even got his weapon, but after I got his friendship card I basically never used him again.
And Nilou is my everything, even though I build her as a main dps and never used her in a bloom team, I love her so damn much, I'll never regret pulling for her. But I do regret not pulling for Nahida, I wasn't sure if I should pull for her, because I didn't like her design as much but now that I've tried her in events, I regret it so much ):
I think since you put Zhongli on most of your team comps and most of your characters are kitted enough to finish the hardest content with ample time (signature weapon and constellations, good enough artifacts), it kinda made you not want more damage but just convenience, so it really is understandable haha!
Like I can't pair my Ayaka to Bennett, because I need my enemies be frozen to do crit hits, and using Xingqui on that team ain't gonna work since I need more damage from Thrilling Tales weapon from a catalyst user since I don't have the Mistplitter Forged acquired.
I love collecting, i always finish whatever game i am playing, then i like to go back and complete side missions, collectibles achiecements, or raise and collect EVERY SINGLE character in whatever game i am playing.
for me the only five star id ever go so far to say i regret summoning is probably tighnari, i love the character alot but.. 1: hes a standard character now, 2: alot of his damage potential is locked behind his weapon, 3: i only got him bc dendro was new and i really wanted to use it for damage, and 4: i feel like there is no situation in the game where i need to use him
he is incrediblt usefull for sumeru forest exploration, if you have not done that already.
Tighnari is good with single target (or bosses) a good quick swap unit so you need other units to fill up his down time. (Yae is the perfect candidate)
Then there's me that got hunter's path with roughly 20 pulls 2 weeks after starting genshin, but not the guy himself 💀
The thing that makes Kokomi great is the fact that she applies Hydro in a quite large aoe with no icd while not applying hydro to you (unlike barbara). Barbara is not bad, but their hydro application isnt comparable, as well as barbara being either healing or damage while kokomi gets more damage if you build her for healing
I'm mixed on this, as a childe main since his first banner and ayato and cyno enjoyer (my most used characters in abyss probably lol but I get that theyre not everyones cup of tea, but also like. skill issue) But I agree on eula, i pulled her when she came out bc she's pretty but i really don't use her at all. I also kinda regret ganyu but I still play her from time to time. A character i wouldn't mind being deleted from my acc would be keqing tho
People still think childe is bad to this day, but most people who play this game aren’t good lol

Like i will fully admit that i won't ever pull or use hu tao bc i can't do/am too lazy to learn the jump canceling and theres many units where I feel that way lol. But I feel like childe just gets so much unwarranted hate bc ppl can't play him right 💀 (plus he also gets mischaracterized by literally everyone, even his fans and eng va, so i feel like that plays into why ppl dislike him and aren't willing to put in effort into learning his playstyle)

I don't regret anyone at the moment, but at the time i regretted Yae when she got nerfed, i was so angry to have waited months and months for her just to be nerfed to hell. Thankfully they reverted that, and now with dendro she's my top pick in every team.
I have 2 pulls I regret. Chasing 4 stars and getting Venti's worthless c1 and Eula who I became incredibly bored of her playstyle a week after I pulled her. Pulling Eula also cost me future pulls. Pulling Eula meant I had to skip Kazuha's first banner, then pulling Kazuha on his rerun made me have to skip Yelan. Pulling Eula is literally hurting me 2 years later.

The biggest character I regret summoning is Klee. She is the only one I've gone out of my way to summon for in early game, and she did carry me then but I just don't like her that much.
Also Eula. I love her design and personality but I hate her playstyle, its soooo basic and I don't like characters who live and die over 1 number.
I didn't get Klee but I did make an entirely new account just so that I could get a better chance at summoning her when she first came out. I didn't, but I guess that was okay.
I have recently tried the quickbloom team (Cyno, Nahida/Dendro Traveller, Xingqiu, Shinobu) with Cyno and i found that to be a pretty fun team.
But i generally dont regets anyone, i have had my reasons for pulling every single one that i have. Even if i dont really play them. The only exeption here being maybe Hutao. I'm just not the biggest fan of her playstlye. But then again, i've been using her in abyss floor 9 and 10 for the last few rotations and i can see why she is so good.
Also Zhongli and Nahida are two characters that i don't regret not getting.
honestly Cyno with aggravate is quite bland, but his Hyperbloom teams are actually really nice and smooth to play with (along with the fact that the team DPS is much higher, lol).
It’s all about preferences. The fact that you try to max EVERY SINGLE character must be hard enough and then there are just play styles better than others. Helpful video and thanks for your views.
Honestly I kind of regret Cyno too. It feels like no matter what reactions I go for or how I build him, he never does more damage, and it makes playing him feel like a button mashing shore. His charged attacks in his burst feel super clunky too since they just launch you in a way that doesn't feel intuitive. I think I have the most fun with him just traveling the overworld with him, Tighnari, Collei and Traveler rather than doing any major fights.
Hyperbloom is the way to go, considering he has all this EM Scaling too like every Sumeru Char. No need for any Crit Rate at all.
@@chaosinfernoid9008 at that point why pull for cyno when u can just run kuki instead, the general conclusion is to use quickbloom cyno which also focuses on cynos actual damage, but his weapon is kind of important else he will probably underperform
@@ardorblossom I have Jade Spear on him and he still shreds in Quickbloom. His clear times is actually competitive to my Childe International or Raiden national, especially in boss chambers.
@@lewsee5562 idk ive tried a few teams with him and even gave him homa for a bit and he just couldnt stand up to hu tao wanderer or raiden/yae at all, he was even doing worse than my kind of thrown together itto build, if I had jade spear maybe the attack would make him stronger but everything I tried he was just... kind of bad
I agree with the Venti thing. He's kind of a weird character compared to others because he's very content dependent and kinda... Yeah, he's not very useful when it's single target chambers in abyss, but when it's mobs? He's the best unit to have in your team BY FAR. Not only that, which is very often in abyss 9 to 11, but also more common than people realize in abyss 12, but also for everyday stuff like leylines, daily quests, etc... He's just SO useful and not having him for that type of stuff actually feels a bit painful lol.
Also, he and kazuha are actually very strong together. Both their taser and especially their aggravate teams are very fun, since you build kazuha on TF so you can spam his E, and it's overall a very fun quickswap gameplay that I love ^^

I remember skipping Yoimiya her first banner but she’s actually pretty crazy and R5 rust is actually cracked on her, good F2P character for sure.
I have to say i do regret getting cyno. I really like him as a character but i dont have an electro support build that can battery him, so i can never get his burst. Another thing is that i dont like using burst dependent characters in the overworld (exept raiden bc she can get her burst super fast) its just a pain. And i have better options for abyss so hes just benched. I also couldve gotten both scara and raiden for my acc had i not pulled for him, since i was at high pity with guaranteed and enough pulls. So yeah i kinda hate myself for not saving up and skipping him.

I'm still sitting on an early pull level 20 Albedo all the way back from the Bennett banner shortly after release... I'll get to it eventually, though, but Geo as a whole isn't my favorite, and Albedo + Gorou + either Noelle or Itto if I get him very early feels like quite a bit to commit to for basically just one team. Albedo would've actually been great for me back then, but nowadays I've got basically all the alternatives, and I don't play characters for which a double-geo setup is a great option for how comfy it is.
That is the only thing coming even slightly close to a regret, though, I could've done better but it's no big deal at all with the excess I''ve already got.
The only character I ever regretted pulling was Childe
I got him in his first banner, at the time I didn't really bother looking up the character kits and all that before pulling, and I also didn't watch the trailer that explained his gameplay so let's just say he wasn't what I thought he was at all and now he's collecting dust in my account
Being a childe main I don't blame you, his kit is not for everybody since using him needs a bit of practice, but his kit is also what childe mains enjoy about him the most.

it’s nice to see a different perspective. I think if anyone were to use this as a basis of who to pull for, I’d think the best takeaway is honestly, do you like playing the character. Another thing to keep in mind is that Moga has constellations and signature weapon on most/all units he’s mentioning. Which is fine because that’s his experience but as a low spender, I’ve taken to really appreciating when characters have solid four and even 3* weapon options.
Surprised to hear the comment about Kazuha feeling robotic/a chore to use. I actually feel that way about Ayaka and Raiden, who I only pulled for abyss. I never play them in the open world because outside of Raidens skill, I actually don’t find their play style fun personally. I tried Ganyu on my friends account…. It’s also not for me. On the flip side, Kazuha feels super fun to me because I find grouping enemies to me satisfying.
I regret getting xiao tbh,out of all character that i pull he is the only one level 70,idk why but when i play him on my friend acc he seems fun but after pulling him and playing him,i just lost interest in him completely kinda weird but yeah what can i do
I love that there is no actually no actually toxic comments, also people use constructive criticism. It was interesting to read all this and video ofc. Never thought Moga would use Yoimiya more than HuTao (as a yoi main). I really like her playstyle and design, so it was nice to saw her shining at top list there.
But also i am cryo main (ayaka, eula, ganyu) who plays through shatter and freeze and i know why people can find this characters hard to use. But i don't regret to pull for any character (i regret Amos tho).
not gonna lie, I feel like Moga didn’t give Childe much of a chance, or maybe he did but gave up halfway through, most of his complaints or understanding of Childe is either kinda close to truth or WAYY off, no in-between, but its personal preference ig, as a Childe main, I literally can’t comprehend not liking Childe, he’s so fun, plus Moga’s account has so much options for Childe, I’ve been hopeful that he’ll give him a chance, he almost did a while back, but to no avail. Childe is my favorite character but I understand why some people would not like playing him. He is very technical to play properly. He has other teams than international but those can be even more technical. The duration of his E makes him not work on other team comps he could be part of or at least not for more than a short fight.
For me seeing a billion numbers can be fun but it can also be bothersome because all those numbers flying on screen make it impossible to see what the enemy is doing. Some people might not like the blinding amounts of numbers.
He don't even know how to play childe. He should know atleast that you don't need to switch to bow mode before switching
Right now,ALMOST no regret, i am a returning players that stopped at like zhongli release, only had keqing for the longest time, came back during nahida banner,got her in 20 pulls and she was a perfect fit for my most used teams.
Randomly got childe in 30 pulls while going for heizou const and i dont regret it,he is really fun and can also use alot of the unit i already have built.
The ONLY kinda regret is scaramouche(tbh he also wasnt intentional but i thought i would like him more than itto), man is scaramouche gameplay not for me,but it isnt horrible cuz i just use him for exploration.
klee was my absolute fav character from when i started playing genshin, i've wanted her for so long, but yes, i hate playing with her, even though i've already mastered all her animation cancels. never regretted pulling for her tho❤️❤️

@@ze12o_2 strangely, Kazuha's playstyle isn’t a thing that someone gets bored of it… you can use him as main DPS and support in every team! He doesn’t have a clucky mechanic! You either don’t like his personality or lost the 50/50 in his banner!
Edit: plus he is more versatile than Venti… and easier to use/play! But Moga put Venti in the first category

The Keqing banner displaced Hu Tao’s premiere out of real-life CNY 2021. (Mona, Jean, and Diluc were bad by not being from Liyue. Qiqi is from Liyue, but fails because she’s a zombie .)
I don't regret any of the 5* I have or went for. I regret that I can't play more often because I usually miss all the really good characters like now I got Itto and am gonna miss Raiden

I'm just really happy that Moga did give a moment to very clearly point out- These are personal opinions, and that he's not even saying that they're bad. Just don't personally like them or playing them.
Just keeping that in mind made this very very fun to watch- I love seeing the difference in people and their different opinions, so this was very fun. For example, you had many characters that I love being in either the second or third section, but I completely understood why and it was fun seeing it from a different perspective.
I love Tighnari, the only and very big reason as to why I regret pulling for him is that he's a standard now. I have very high patience when it comes to rolling for characters, so it truly was a loss for me.
You were smart for Tighnari though. You got him while he was guaranteed. There's a chance you'd never roll him. There are people who played since launch that still are missing standard banner 5 stars and would kill for a Diluc banner etc
My only regret is Ganyu. On my main that is, my main is on my phone it’s mobile it’s super hard to use a bow, aside from DPS I could swap her with Diona and still have good cryo applications, I genuinely wish I had waited for a xiao rerun. Aside from that all my five stars are greatly loved, mostly Keqing (she’s my main lol) Kazuha, Nahida, and I do have a wanderer but he’s still kinda new- so idk much about him
It maybe skill issue, don't always put the blame on mobile lol. I play on mobile so I saw that every content creator says that bow characters ain't good in mobile. But after a week of struggle I learn them to use. Now I use ganyu ,tighnari, fischl without a problem.
And if you're telling it's hard to play it will be applied for every characters because it's harder to do rotation in mobile too in abyss, harder to do dodging too.
If I had pulled for Kazuha while having a well built Sucrose, I would've regretted it, a lot, I was going to pull for him but waited, saw videos, reviews, results and comparisons between to two and I am glad I didn't.
I regret summoning Yae Miko, and Yoymia.
i do my weekly bosses coop with a friend. i usually use itto with c6 benny. the extra pyro on the NA is useful with the extra elemental damage going around, and itto's burst doesnt care about the infusion.
Klee, pulled and never raised.
Raiden is the only unit I regret pulling. She was impossible to build and I spent 3 months getting her the catch for lackluster performance. Yeah she is a decent battery and electro applicator but most of the time I prefer Fischl. As for a hyper cary, she really needs Bennet to shine and I absolutely HATE using him so I'm not going to pair a unit I hate just to make her work when I don't enjoy her to begin with. Lesson learned always play the demo a million times before pulling.

I love Klee but I swore a lot while trying to learn her playstyle. The Wanderer's weapon made her a lot more fun for me, without having to cancel her animations and such.
Cyno needs a dendro equivalent of Kuki, that would make him a lot more useful

Yaoyao applies enough dendro to make hyperbloom work if that's what you mean. I use Kuki and Yaoyao on the same hyperbloom team in the abyss and even though they are both healers it doesn't matter since all I care about is the EM to proc the reactions. It makes me unkillable too 🤣
I 100% agree with itto. I have him (im a casual spender) and only have gorou c4 and no other good geo that would work well in his team (i don't have zhongli or albedo) Despite having itto's weapon and him built pretty well, he's been benched ever since I got him due to me not being able to fufill the team he needs to do big doodoo damage.. (i've pulled for zhongli ever banner he has been in but i've lost every single time :D)
0:18 Ye it is until you mistakenly get itto low pity when going for gorou cuz you like him then pull for gorou on scaras banned because now you need support for itto and get qiqi and scara in a single ten pull, mf is harder to get than 3 5* characters Edit: I still dont have him

I do kinda regret pulling for Childe. But Nahida didn't want to come home so I was mad and pulled for him. He actually came within 2 wishes. Like 2 wishes more and I could've gotten Nahida...
His burst once did 360k with is my highest number by far but I hate his E cooldown. His Hydro attacks are so fun to use but I can't enjoy them fully cuz otherwise the cooldown would be too long:/
Wanderer seems like the hands down best adventuring character in the game. Unless there is some one else who can fly or some major limiting I'm not aware of. It seems like such as easy way to get some of the more tedious things like steeles that fly into weird places.
i definitely also regretted getting Klee and Childe. Klee is adorable and that's why i wanted her. But she is just so clunky to me especially since i was a Yanfei main when i pulled for her. Childes long cooldown gets me everytime. even if i switch out of melee once my other buffs are done its not ready when i get back to him and i end up wasting a lot of time.
I regret yoimiya, unlike ayato and wanderer she is incapable of doing AoE and she only does single target damage which honestly wastes more time especially when the abyss are multiple enemies.
Watching this video and quietly nodding to your takes. We have almost identical preference, the only disagreement I had was for Kokomi, Kazuha and Albedo, I would really miss them if I hadn't pulled them. Albedo's off-field dmg is so satisfying and works wonders in my Hu Tao main team. And sameee, I find myself using Yoimiya more often than Hu Tao now!
I'm so gonna hated for this but though its really not a regret or anything but just have mixed feelings for them, the ones i kinda regret are the Archons even though they're extremely good, Ei for her god awful overall thing as a character that even managed to somewhat hate anything related to her and even her own element, Nahida because of her no dmg Ult and being vulnerable everytime she holds E skill as a need, Zhongli because he's basically just a shielder, his very first initial weak impression and his element, and though I don't have him but Venti too because of his laxed nature and his bits of lore that caused a massive pain to one of the harbingers at least...

It bugs me because they showed that her personality is very mature (even more than adults in the game) and then, she goes running around and hopping like Klee.. a literal child.
I find it pretty annoying that I began to hate her character, even though I loved her as an Archon.
So I am still waiting for the time I find peace with it so I can use her, which will probably be, never.
i think having cons and every single weapon affects this tier list. because F2P ayato is probably the fastest commision/elite mob grind at c0 and no BiS weapon.
he's the best DPS in UBER team. definitely would regret not summoning him.
My biggest regret is rolling for Raiden Shogun. I had gotten her weapon twice while I was trying to get kokomi's weapon and I was never really interested in her cause I didn't like her playstyle all that much and I know she's awesome in a bunch of teams but I've tried to build her so many time and she's now on the back burner for me and never getting used xD

For your mention of how Ayaka has dropped off because Cryo can’t work with Dendro.
I’m actually using Cryo Bloom atm. Apply Cryo, apply Dendro, use the Hydro character as main dps farm blooms for a bit, switch into your Cryo character/‘s and freeze the enemy Bloom seeds hits the enemy as they are frozen
The only characters I can say I regret pulling is Childe and Eula, mostly cuz I don't use them as much as I use other characters. But I promised myself that I'll go back to grinding for them but whenever I try to get good artifacts for them they're the ONLY ones I can't get anything for and it pains me everytime to just see them rotting in my account.
Only characters I'll say I regret not getting is Shenhe and Yelan since I love their character in their archon quests but I was saving for other characters at the time and from how much Mihoyo or Hoyoverse has delayed Shenhe, she's just like Hu Tao for me now in which idrc about her as much anymore. I'll just get her when I get her. But the characters I will maximize to all my potential are all the characters I continue to use and main till this day mostly Lumine, Xiao, Venti, Kazuha, Albedo, Cyno, Scaramouche and the other archons. The only other characters I maximize that I don't really main are Diluc, Klee, and Yae Miko.
