Yes, if you need to reset you will need to climb the ladder. If you need to power cycle it, just unplug the other end of the ethernet that's attached to the WAP. Wait 60 seconds and plug back in. Thank you for watching.
Great video brother. I love the content that you consistently put out and the community and following you have created is awesome! Anytime you need anything from us you have our support 100% 👍
Yes you did. I had a few errors in the video and it was easier to just fix it and repost rather than using the RUclips Video editor. Thanks for watching again!!! Lol
Ouch!! Must have been an expensive drywall repair! Glad you didn't fall all the way through!! Next time call me for help!!!! Lol Thanks for watching Brad!
I have a basic AT&T Router under my computer desk and want to put a ceiling mount extender in my room, what type of wifi extender do I need? And do need a power cord to power this thing? If so a wall mount is probably the way to go right?
Yes a wall mount would work and use an ethernet cable from the LAN on the router to access point. The AP will need to use the power adapter since routers don't have PoE connections.
Yes, I had a few minor errors in the original upload so I had to delete and reupload again. Sorry! Thank you for watching again I really appreciate it!
@@WilliamAndrewPhilipBodie OK Bodie it's now available in 1440p. So you can rewatch it to see my beautiful face in 4K!!! Lol! Hope your having a great start to your New Year!! Cheers!
Get faster Wi-Fi speeds with a Wi-Fi 6E Access point (WAP)! Easy installation! Thank you for watching! 😀
It you used cat 8 cables instead you'll see a boost in wifi range
Interesting to see companies pull Wifi 6e hardware off the market just before they launch wifi 7 hardware.
34k subs for 342 quality content 🥺you deserve more subs man
Some seriously nice and informative video. :)
Thanks, I really appreciate the kind comments!
Yeah I was going to say - only newer stuff is going to be 6E capable.
Yep wifi6e is for the future. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.
Here in Las Vegas! Great. My question: Should you need to reset the access point, out comes the ladder or can it be reset remotely?
Yes, if you need to reset you will need to climb the ladder. If you need to power cycle it, just unplug the other end of the ethernet that's attached to the WAP. Wait 60 seconds and plug back in. Thank you for watching.
Hi, thanks for the informative video. Does every home have an attic ? and how do you run cables if there's no attic in home. Thanks !
Crawl space or basement.
Not every home but most homes do have attics. If no attic, then you would have to run the cables on the walls in conduit.
Are those little anchors really sufficient for mounting it to the ceiling? I would have thought you'd need to use toggle bolts or something similar.
The Wireless Access Point is very light weight so yes the wall anchors are plenty to hold it. Thank you for watching and for commenting!

I feel through the attic ceiling putting up a active exhaust fan! Well I should say my leg went through. It would have been a 15 foot drop!

@@UltimateTechHub gotcha, thanks
Can you setup guest wifi as well on the access point.
Yes
Can any brand of POE switch be used for AP, or does it have to be a specific one
Any brand
Do you need a access key or cloud key like ubiquiti or are the just plug and play?
No access key or cloud key just scan the QR code on the back of the AP.
Is this a re-upload?

What kind of insulation is that! My god. Like walking through a minefield, you can barely see the wood beams to walk on.
