It's changed so much since then.
Fields are gradually going with more and more houses,
Getting on and off the peninsula is a nightmare now.
Hard to get a doctors appointment.
Oh how back then things must have been so different and better.
I was still a kid back then.
Could see how things were going, which is why this film was made.
Enjoyed watching this, filmed just 4 years after i was born
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Been living in Hoo since about 1980. Becoming more like a small town but with sadly no infrastructure to cope. Funny seeing my house though
A very interesting slice of the past.
Thanks for this - home to me that place
Hoo the home of my Theobald ancesters
I was born in hoo 1956 and spent by time fishing and other country persutes it has changed so much not for the good
Beautiful footage. I'm interested in this camera, do you recall if this was shot using its original Shinkor lens?
Yes it was, however I can't really recommend that camera. The lens could be better, (sharpness-wise) and I found the registration to be unsteady. This being more noticeable at 24 fps.
@@gazellefilms Thank you!
Hi Maurice, do you have any footage from this camera that has been shots around this time. Or where can I look? Thanks.
