As a thank you, here's a gift, the story of origin for my mutant life from the turn of the century, the real turn of the century in 1900.
If you somehow have never heard of me, I was only of the only people composing hip hop music during the early 1900's, only we didn't call it hip hop back then. In those days everyone knew it as "The Shvarfikla", everyone would love to dance to the delightful rumbling of music. If you hadn't seen someone dance to the Shvarfikla before, you'd think they were having a seizure while standing up and somehow maintain a stellar balance, it's quite the dandy hootenanny once you get the hang of it.
Now you need to understand, when I say dance, I really mean dance! We'd be dancing to all the new shvarfikla music throughout 3 Sunlights/74 hours in today terms.Once the sun went to bed, the festival goers would all also respectfully follow the Sun's lead. After a restful laydown, everyone headed back to their lands of origin. Some years those 74 hours of Sun would only come around once a year, with every other day being spent in darkness. Those few hours of light per year was a feeling of joy that nothing could ever replicate.
Most artists released new albums a few weeks before the festival so that fans had some time to grow attached to the new releases, not me though. A select few of us never stopped releasing, it didn't matter what the date was, what mattered was that the music was only of the best quality, with no exceptions, ever!
