The stupid thing was taking 5 seconds to strap himself in... If grenades actually about to blow you'd grab the handle and pull it just to escape the blast then hang on for dear life after.. Which would have been more realistic and entertaining too...itd like watching bank robbers jump into the getaway car with cops shooting at them... Take a few seconds to put your seat belts on? Hell no!!
Just wanted to point out that the special effects in sky kids 3D were meant to look like a video game. They were not going for realism in the first place, and most of those scenes showed from the first one were from that guys TV show. Again, not going for realism.
+Gemma Mc 哈哈哈me too,it‘s the first 3D movie i have see when i was in elementary school . and i still remember how exciting i was .I am happy that i did not forget the movie when I was 18. although tell the truth it looks bad now,who cares it?
Jishnu panicker Ya, for the year it came out, that scene's effects were good honestly. Hell, even today when I rewatch it, the effects still aren't that bad imo.
Jishnu panicker You do realise WatchMojo just does this videos for that cash! These scenes on the list is masterpeices compaired to the real bad CGI scenes out there that WatchMojo can't be bothered to find! And what pisses me off is how they try to sound smart and funny and acts like their list is "ultimate conclusion, No argue about it we are always right" when they suck!
Want some more bullshit about that scene? _Cargo planes don't even have ejector seats!_ Hell, with as long as those grenades took to detonate, John McClane could have just A) thrown open the cockpit door and run outside, or B) thrown the grenades back at the bad guys. But no, "Let's add ejector seats to this cargo plane so we can have this cheesy shot of him ejecting out of an explosion...oh, what's that? There aren't any charges to blow the canopy outward before the pilot ejects - because cargo planes simply don't have that kind of shit - so McClane's brains would have been splattered all over that ceiling window? Fuck it, let's do it anyway!" Stupid scene....
They usually explode between 3 to 5 seconds so let’s say you have five seconds and your instincts are to throw it elsewhere 2 seconds for your reflexes to notice it 2 more seconds to pick it up 1 second to raise your arm and...... you are blasted to smithereens so the best thing to do would be to roll and take cover
+Bloodvein Gaming For the most part, yeah, but to be fair, Sharkboy and Lavagirl (which I assume is the 4th Spy Kids movie they mentioned. I still liked it however, despite the cringe-worthy singing sequence and overly hammy performance by George Lopez, even moreso than usual) looked bad back then. Plus the last Indiana Jones movie was recent and had no real excuse.
The only reason why they look shit is becuase they had low effects and less technology to help them, last time I checked we live in the 21st century now. This video should have been made 25 years ago
The minimal time period should have been at least 2000 and onwards, because picking on 30 to 20 year old movies for having bad special effects isn't fair at all.
Movies like Superman and Stat Trek belong on the list. Those franchises had installments years before those two particular movies, and the prior movies had much better effects. Really no excuses for them.
+ethanwdp Price 2001 a space odyssey, made in 1969 had effects that still stand up today. 1977 Starwars was non too shabby either. Going back further, although in black and white, both kingkong (1933) and the hurricane (1930`s) are superb sfx wise.
Some of these weren't bad at all. ESPECIALLY 2 of your "dishonorable mentions:" the Geonsian Execution Area (Star Wars), and the Last Airbender Wave scene. I think both of those looked great. (I think you're just trying to pick on what most people think of as "bad movies")
MrBLARG85 agreed, as much as I hate the last airbender (especially since I’m a huge fan of the cartoon). The wave scene was done really well in terms of effects.
everything in spy kids was on purpose. it shouldn't have been in the list. if you watched all the movies and understand the story you would know the "horrible effects" were on purpose
The only bad effects in the first one were intentionally bad as it was a set for a child's cartoon, and the horrendous effects of the third were intentional because, again, the only bad ones were within an animated video game. Unfortunately, the animals and structures of the 2nd installment (which came out over a decade after Jurassic Park) were inexcusably terrible.
Pixel I think they put it on because it’s AOTC. Lucasfilm used a blue screen but they used miniatures to make the arena. The only thing fake are the droids.
I suppose I should point out the whole surfing-on-lava sequence of the Anakin VS Obi-Wan fight in _Episode III_ is rough to look at. Not the ENTIRE battle between them, just the surfing-on-lava part.
+Shane Fell In the US Stylistic doesn't get cut too much slack, alot of stylistic movies from other countries get nailed and boo'd in the states purely based on the "Bad" SFX, not batting an eyelash at story, the budget or the artistry behind the effects. If it's not cutting edge or close too it commonly doesn't go well here. There are, however, exceptions.
How is Spy Kids on here? It was supposed to look like they're in a video game, so they made the effects bad to correspond with the video game graphics being released at the time.
+guyoflife Also, the first one most of the particularly bad greenscreen effects were actually in a kind of vr room in the movie, so they also aren't supposed to look necessarily real. The second one is really where it falls short largely.
+Darkstar22177 The first movie's heavy CGI was about the guy in some sort of simulation room and make it look TV-ish. The second one fell out more because of the hybrid animals. The third one was a video game so excusable.
+CrissCrossBob Totally, I remember when I first saw it I LOVED it... But now everytime I watch I can't help but cringe at the effects, and the acting... Might be just me, but the acting was pretty abismal especially on the last scenes...

+DaphneBlue50s Your argument isn't sound. Minecraft _deliberately chose_ that art style, and it fits well as an aesthetic. Bad green screen was not the aesthetic the movies in this list were attempting.
+trvius I will admit i haven't seen all of these movies, however from the clips shown some of them definitely appear to be taking and artistic decision rather than just doing a bad job. Unrealistic doesn't equate to bad all the time.
+marlinfan1995 A good point. I'd recommend watching the Nostalgia Critic's review of The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl to see how it really can go wrong.
+marlinfan1995 That's my exact thoughts. Spy Kids wasn't really supposed to have turn of the century special effects, and the style of CGI went pretty well with the movie.
+AlmostLikeHuman the movie was a groundbreaking undertaking though, the first full length almost total CGI film, i feel it dosn't deserve a place on this list.
+KaidenOZ The producers didn't jerk us around with the CGI either. They went completely over the top with it. At no point do I feel like I'm being forced to believe it's real. The whole movie just feels really stylized.
I also loved spy kids, c'mon, i still like it, i mean even though the effects are shit, it's kinda what it should look like, since they are in a video game or whatever. And, the whole idea with the movies was great and I loved it.
@Panda Valdez I saw the original 1933 _King Kong after_ I saw the 2005 Peter Jackson film, and I have to say that _despite the difference_ of over 70 years of film-making advancements, the 1933 film feels more legit, and I also prefer it over the 2005 version which tried to redo it and- in my opinion- tried _too hard_ to impress us with its big budget CGI special effects rather than story and character. Also, original director Merian C. Cooper was absolutely legendary by the time he made _King Kong._ I would much rather own a special-edition remastered DVD of the 1933 film, and I just don't care about the 2005 film even though I saw it first.
Jesus, yes the first two are good movies, the 3rd wasnt, and all 3 had sub par effects. Shit Die Hard 2, labyrinth, etc? Those are good movies too, theyre just talking about effects
+howto42 anyone over 20 can hate those shitty movies. anything that has George Lopez in it holy shit fuck that noise. next why dont you tell us how awesome the "shark boy and lava girl" movies are.
Steven Parisi They could easily find something worse! WM probably just put the scenes randomly and doesn't care just to get money! Die hard 2 looked typical 80's nothing wrong with it! The scene in Indiana Jones 2 when they find the castle looks much worse then Indiana Jones 4 car chase! When they find the castle pretty much everything looks like it was cut in there from pictures!
Nah dude, your right. They only put it on the list because it's part of one of the "Prequels." That scene is damn fine.... especially that level in LEGO Star Wars :)
+Davis Jensen yeah possibly one of the most horrendous CGI I have ever seen fucking period (despite it trying to look like a video game, it was still horrible)
Sonya Lappin you don't take into considereation that the budget was equal. Also why isn't Superman 4 is not number one (target audience of which is not children unlike Spy Kids) is beyond me
+Pinta Dubbs Every single movie from Twilight was painful to watch just because I hate the story ( and even though I hated the movies.. I'm still team Jacob XD), although I did love the wolves :P
Mentions not including films from the 60's because the technology wasn't there/picks apart films from the 80's because the technology still wasn't there Makes total sense.
+Matteo De Vellis they always want to have something with Star wars prequels/special edition in Hope that i dont like prequels just cuz it is cool to hate it type of fans
The CGI of the clones doesn't hold up. I feel like they could have done better with real costumes and multiplying them with digital effects, but what am I to say.... besides a little disappointed ;) Loved the prequels as a kid growing up, but as I get older, the poor acting (or writing) and (only some of) the effects start to rub me the wrong way.
+GeneralMartinus I have to agree with you there. I mean, they did some really interesting things with what they had. I know for a fact that some people just get lazy and overdo it, but hey, at least they tried. hahaha I always just think that way :)
+GeneralMartinus I watched Labyrinth as I child like junkie craves heroine lol sprinkle a little Never Ending Story (part 1 only) and a dash of Fivel An American Tale.
+Captain Davian They originally planned making 4 movies with real life persons, based on the original story from the tv-animation, but they only made the first and gave up. Watch it and find out why.
+Daniel “Celebri” Holt everybody who is a Fan of Avatar(the cartoon) is hating this movie so much.I couldn't even watch a half an hour of this illogical bullshit
Zequal no that doesn’t make any sense at all, honourable mentions mean that they’re not as bad as those from 10-1. If they’re close to 1 then wouldn’t they be 2 or 3 or 4....use your brain sometimes man.
I actually think the arena sequence is still very good nowadays. I can admite some of other moments in the prelogy are cheesy but this battle looks fine.
carlos rene garcia de hecho no. decir "I'm agree" no es "yo estoy de acuerdo" por si pensabas eso :v :v :v nunca jamas vas a oir a alguien que hable ingles decir eso
+Svilen Vasilev no, i guess he´s talking about jumping from explosions, johny cage´s flying kick (i´m sure the move has a name but i don´t know it) or newhaircutraiden enters the scene while doing foward flips.
+Oliver Jane What about the other ones which weren't in a game and also had shitty effects? I suppose those movies were supposed to be representing movies with shit CGI?
The die hard blue screen scene was not that bad to be honest...but the time those grenades took to explode is another story!
Erick Gaudreault it took so long, like 20 seconds instead of 5

Unrealistic doesn't equate to bad all the time.
+trvius so did Sky Captain. To say that whole movie looks terrible is just stupid. But i don't know if you have seen it, so that mighr explain it.
Star Wars is still good.
Come on man!!!
Ikr
I don't care if the effects were terrible. Spy kids was the BEST! The first two anyway.
Yeah I hated the 4th one.
Hi guys love you
My favorite was the One were they were on the Island with the monsters simple but enjoyible
Game Over was really good
liked all 3 but fuck number 4
I always just saw that as the style Spy Kids was going for. And WatchMojo, stop crapping on my childhood.
+marlinfan1995 A good point. I'd recommend watching the Nostalgia Critic's review of The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl to see how it really can go wrong.
Μιχαλης Σαπουνζτακης What's so wrong with that? If you want to play that game, there should be a comma after RIP. You're also missing a period.
+marlinfan1995 That's my exact thoughts. Spy Kids wasn't really supposed to have turn of the century special effects, and the style of CGI went pretty well with the movie.
+marlinfan1995 Not Spy Kids 3 though, that one just had really bad effects.
Do a top 10 frozen facts please 😆
I'm sorry, STAR WARS?
…and they didn’t even mention the incredible badly made Naboo Fight.
@@0cer0 🖕🖕🖕
0cer0 just no
Yes
@@0cer0 wot about the tatooine scene when jar jar blinks gets his face electrocuted.
0:42 oh hi mark
😂 😂 😂 😂
"Number four, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, all of it"
I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard :D
+AlmostLikeHuman the movie was a groundbreaking undertaking though, the first full length almost total CGI film, i feel it dosn't deserve a place on this list.
KaidenOZ I know, I'm not trying to make fun of the film, I just thought what they said was funny.
+KaidenOZ i actually liked sky captain for this reason. its alot of the movies charm i feel. i liked this movie.
+KaidenOZ Yeah, it really shouldn't be on this list.
+KaidenOZ The producers didn't jerk us around with the CGI either. They went completely over the top with it. At no point do I feel like I'm being forced to believe it's real. The whole movie just feels really stylized.
XD when I was little I thought that Spy Kids looked so real! Now I see it looks like crap!! lol
Me too I love Spy kid
XD yup. I'll never grow up on the inside....ever....my life is so sad....
+Mine Club R.I.P
Same
I also loved spy kids, c'mon, i still like it, i mean even though the effects are shit, it's kinda what it should look like, since they are in a video game or whatever. And, the whole idea with the movies was great and I loved it.
where is sharkboy and lavagirl?
TRIGGERED
I wonder
Hiding, they know it's a WatchMojo vid.
joapie e YESSSSSSSSS
Ikr
Am I the only one who thinks the dishonorable mention of King Kong is just bullshit. It was amazing.
That is one of the best.
@Panda Valdez
I saw the original 1933 _King Kong after_ I saw the 2005 Peter Jackson film, and I have to say that _despite the difference_ of over 70 years of film-making advancements, the 1933 film feels more legit, and I also prefer it over the 2005 version which tried to redo it and- in my opinion- tried _too hard_ to impress us with its big budget CGI special effects rather than story and character. Also, original director Merian C. Cooper was absolutely legendary by the time he made _King Kong._ I would much rather own a special-edition remastered DVD of the 1933 film, and I just don't care about the 2005 film even though I saw it first.
Erick Alex didn’t even look bad
Okay well no joke the Star Wars special effects are actually pretty good.
Have u seen jar jar
Tessbess except for the prequels
Tony Flamingo revenge of the sith was amazing though
Tessbess wouldn't go as far as amazing but that's your opinion
Tessbess the story was good but not how they showed it
Don't be talking shit about spy kids that was gangster
Jesus, yes the first two are good movies, the 3rd wasnt, and all 3 had sub par effects. Shit Die Hard 2, labyrinth, etc? Those are good movies too, theyre just talking about effects
yeah, when we we're 7 it was
Dang it you beat me to it.
+howto42 anyone over 20 can hate those shitty movies. anything that has George Lopez in it holy shit fuck that noise. next why dont you tell us how awesome the "shark boy and lava girl" movies are.
Those movies were bad when I was five and now they still suck
worst green/blue screening scene of all of time: all of birdemic
I disagree, I think Indiana Jones had terrible green/blue screen on it
The Battle of Geonosis is one of the best scene in Star Wars franchise. The effects were f**King awesome!
Shark boy and lavagirl and Spy Kids has SUPER BAD CGI
Btw even they have bad CGI i liked them so stop tryna hate on it
GameOnGT they could at least put some cgi but they did not put cgi
GameOnGT WORST MOVIES EVER
GameOnGT Yeah, they should stop hating on a movie you like, because only YOUR opinion matters.
ThatOneLoserAnimator /RUclipsr does any fucking opinion on internet even count?
Despite having bad CGI Spy Kids was a great movie IMAO
Where is sharkboy and lavagirl the movie was basically a green screen
😂
I literally thought that movie was apart of the spy kids franchise for a second
+life of the party l-/ me too
ikr that movie low-key was sh*t
+SuperNovaSpaceFartMan you obviously don't know what lowkey means...
Man, I loved the Jungle Fight in Indiana Jones and I still do. Doesn't look that bad to me.
Steven Parisi MY NOW HO TA SPEL
Steven Parisi I was about 2 write that
ace playz same
yea, the CGI isn't bad at all.
Wtf was star wars on this
@Ethan Rodriguez
Screw you
Ethan Rodriguez shut up and go play roblux kid
Ethan Rodriguez are you talking about ur self LMAO
Neon Twilight nice comeback
Dan ok
die hard 2 ejector seat was amazing tbh
Do you have eyes?
yeah Meme Machine why?
justin whitworth cause it isn't amazing, it looks like dogshit
and? its called my opinon not yours
+Meme Machine Guess what? It was 25 years ago. How that made the list is beyond me.
OK... Get ready for a bad joke... How many ears does Spock have? Three... A left ear, a right ear, and a Final Frontier.
Wow
+Jarod Weatherly GTFO KID LOL
ಠ_ಠ
wow.
+Jarod Weatherly I'm not even mad
I think the Geonosian Battle Arena is the best. I don't CARE if people say it sucks, I think it is a masterpiece.
Aron TheDarkNight you aren't human you don't like Star Wars I like that seen though
Scene
Nah dude, your right. They only put it on the list because it's part of one of the "Prequels." That scene is damn fine.... especially that level in LEGO Star Wars :)
I AGREE
Well the thing is that arena isn't CGI unlike many other things
Sky captain was supposed to look like a 50's flick it did so marvelously.
OMG when I was younger I watched spy kids 24/7 and I thought it was the best cgi ever 😂 same with shark boy and lava girl
+Mila Asnis We had the same movie taste
same
***** ur childhood was not as good as ours ;)
I used to have SUCH a big crush on fetus Taylor Laughtner
Lol same
I actually thought a lot of these were good.
me too
I'm pretty sure that you weren't even alive when this shits published
Me to
+Mehmet Cumhur you didn't gave to be alive when it published to think it looks good
+Mehmet Cumhur and I'm pretty sure that's bullshit coming from your mouth
Spy Kids 3... that ending with the Toymaker though.. So touching.
Its good when its from the 50's-80's technology wasn't that advanced
sk3 is suppose to be in a video game what did you suspected
That's what I was thinking when I saw this.
Exactly what I was going to say, its not meant to look perfect.
honestly, id rather play a video game rated for 5 and under than play that game
Also Steve Buscemi randomly comes from nowhere flying a CGI pig in the end of the movie. 10/10
Yup. I saw it last night.
Oh fuck accidentally clicked on a watchmojo video
Alex Soetekouw productions lol
Feels bad man...me too...
I hate when that happens
press f to pay respects
Fuck me I did as well!
Can you blame Spy Kids 3D? It took place in a video game. Was it even *supposed* to look real?
That's true but they still could've made a good movie overall with the third one.
Henry Kane Awwww... I thought it was good. :( (not including the stupid 3D gimmicks)
+Davis Jensen yeah possibly one of the most horrendous CGI I have ever seen fucking period (despite it trying to look like a video game, it was still horrible)
+Davis Jensen also the budget was relatively low, 39 million dollars for an action movie of that time usually meant really bad effects
Sonya Lappin you don't take into considereation that the budget was equal.
Also why isn't Superman 4 is not number one (target audience of which is not children unlike Spy Kids) is beyond me
Spy kids 1 2&3&4 lmfao
What was wrong with the geonosian execution scene in Star Wars. The SFX were incredible
King Kong!! are you serious?? I remember saying wow to that effect in theater ... you so wrong about that part!!!
yeah they missed the mark with this list.
The worst is from "Twilight" just look how lifeless all the actors look.
+Pinta Dubbs Brilliant
+Pinta Dubbs That's just them being teenagers. They must've shot the film before noontime.
So the old people were also teenagers? huh..Trimere
Pinta Dubbs Yes, in make-up. Green screen sucked, but their FX dept is on point.
+Pinta Dubbs Every single movie from Twilight was painful to watch just because I hate the story ( and even though I hated the movies.. I'm still team Jacob XD), although I did love the wolves :P
Mentions not including films from the 60's because the technology wasn't there/picks apart films from the 80's because the technology still wasn't there
Makes total sense.
In the dishonourable mentions, Star Wars: Episode II, in the geonosion arena, I thought the droid were great, and so was the rest.
so did I, that's the only one I didn't agree with.
I was just about to say the same. This looks perfect imo especially for 2002
+Matteo De Vellis they always want to have something with Star wars prequels/special edition in Hope that i dont like prequels just cuz it is cool to hate it type of fans
The CGI of the clones doesn't hold up. I feel like they could have done better with real costumes and multiplying them with digital effects, but what am I to say.... besides a little disappointed ;)
Loved the prequels as a kid growing up, but as I get older, the poor acting (or writing) and (only some of) the effects start to rub me the wrong way.
jerrylee22 because that worked in the originals (sarcasm)
Labyrinth for it's time did a very amazing job, very creative.
i love this comment
+GeneralMartinus I have to agree with you there. I mean, they did some really interesting things with what they had. I know for a fact that some people just get lazy and overdo it, but hey, at least they tried. hahaha I always just think that way :)
+GeneralMartinus I watched Labyrinth as I child like junkie craves heroine lol sprinkle a little Never Ending Story (part 1 only) and a dash of Fivel An American Tale.
+TryHardGaming Damn YES!!!
+TryHardGaming never ending story never gets old 👌
Shark boy and lava girl
AwkwardDorito22 cause it can, duh....
AwkwardDorito22 cause people liked it
The Derpist1112 uuuggGGHHH
What do you expect technology was not that good back then
"We won't be counting indie movies like The Room"
What kind of an indie movie has a budget of 6 million dollars?!
It was his own money.
Victoria Talyarin Damn, such a rich yet dumb man.
***** Yes.
+WiseEndro333
terms change meaning with times
and I agree with your point, The Room is no indie.
+MrGrimm1337 Indie is more leaned towards "independent"
I'm sorry, what Last Airbender movie? There isn't a Last Airbender movie.
Yes there is
psst, basic
hey, hey basic
come closer
closer
YOU MISSED THE JOKE YOU DOLT
+Captain Davian You beat me to it.
+Captain Davian They originally planned making 4 movies with real life persons, based on the original story from the tv-animation, but they only made the first and gave up. Watch it and find out why.
+Daniel “Celebri” Holt everybody who is a Fan of Avatar(the cartoon) is hating this movie so much.I couldn't even watch a half an hour of this illogical bullshit
ultraviolet looks like mirrors edge!lol
EVERYONE IN UGANDA KNOWS KUNG-FU
Uganda be kidding me...
Im crying
lol
LOL
The Indiana Jones one isn’t even that bad
Man these honorable mentions actually look good compared to the list
yeah. I actually respect some of those
Battle of Geonosis on this list triggered me. It's actually one of the best IMO
Well, that's why they didn't make the list of course :)
Zequal no that doesn’t make any sense at all, honourable mentions mean that they’re not as bad as those from 10-1. If they’re close to 1 then wouldn’t they be 2 or 3 or 4....use your brain sometimes man.
Cant be the only one who read "PEPE FROG" at 9:54
Backyard Arsenal - yeah it said it on the wall on the desperado scene.
Backyard Arsenal it said Pepe y flor which I believe means Pepe and flower
Backyard Arsenal it's Pepe and flor
KoffeeSpace or flower
Spy Kids and Spy Kids 2 are two of my favorite childhood movies, too bad they killed the franchise with the 3rd and 4th film.
so true
+MetroidFan the third film was awesome tbh.
I loved Spy kids 1 and 2. Hated the 3rd one, and i was a kid ! Ahah there was a fourth one?
+MetroidFan There was a fourth one?
The 3D one was great but it was just badly made
Love your intro - very nice chroma video!
Lmao Star Wars 2 looked amazing with tech they had
Ya y wus it on da list
right?! i was like go fuck urself watchmojo for hating on starwars
+Prabhat Moore They are just getting on the hate bandwagon. If they did their research they did use lots of actual props.
I actually think the arena sequence is still very good nowadays. I can admite some of other moments in the prelogy are cheesy but this battle looks fine.
IT was made in like 2003 Lmao
Worst green screen attempt I've ever seen is pretty much the entire "Mortal Combat: Annihilation" movie.
+carlos rene garcia *I agree.* Aprende a hablar ingles :v
+carlos rene garcia I'm alberto
Mortal Kombat Annihilation
+Oliver Fernandez If you are talking about that transformation scwne it was CGI.
+Svilen Vasilev no, i guess he´s talking about jumping from explosions, johny cage´s flying kick (i´m sure the move has a name but i don´t know it) or newhaircutraiden enters the scene while doing foward flips.
+Oliver Fernandez Oh yeah. Especially the PS1 animation dragon fight
+Oliver Fernandez Was thinking the same, was even about to post that :)
Semi-Agree
*THANKS FOR RUINING MY CHILDHOOD*
BamBurger you’re welcome 😊
Cool your a video editor
Star Wars and King Kong should not have ended up on this list
+Luke Sanchez yea; don't get me wrong, I knew that; it's the fact that they almost made it on is what got me all messed up
And the main bugger in SW is that they didnt made a single prop for clone troopers, they were all CGI
*triggered*
the CGI in attack of the clones is spot on, i dont know what WM.com is thinking
+Bunneh Bro They are Prequel haters! They don't even realize that AOTC was up for an Oscar nomination as well.
Where's speed racer?
+Melvin VG That movie's effects always make me feel nauseous.
I forgot about that movie.
I was on TV last night in Australia
+Melvin VG hahaha yeah! I knew there was one left...
+Melvin VG It's not messed they wanted to keep the cartoonish/animeish look. Gives feeling to the movie.
Star Wars? Really?
+Jaymax i am 16 and the green screen still doesn't stick out at me unless someone points it out
+Carr Toona
thats because you are stupid and didnt grow up with real movies that were creative
***** so insulting me saying that I don't watch good movies makes me stupid?
+Grey Bird And how old are you jack ass
Staggered MLG bet he hasn't even watched star wars
Spy kids cgi is bad but that’s what makes it iconic
ikr
the last airbender green screen looked pretty good
Spy Kids was meant to have bad green/blue screen effects. Episode 3 (game over) was based inside a COMPUTER GENERATED game.
all i remember was the frog
+Oliver Jane What about the other ones which weren't in a game and also had shitty effects? I suppose those movies were supposed to be representing movies with shit CGI?
+Sam Poncho if you read the beginning of his comment he basically said they're meant to have bad effects...
But this is about chroma key, not CGI quality.
Why defend a movie of such "delicate" quality
Some of these aren't bad at all. There are worse CGI effects out there.
This video is not about cgi.
FANCY FRAME Um, yes it is. The blue/green screen allows for cgi effects to be added.
I'm much aware how the process works. They goes hand in hand but Blue/green screen (chroma key) is not the same thing as cgi.
FANCY FRAME
Huh?
what?
How Can you Think this is bad?!?!?!?!
